There are large spacious rooms which allow continuous provision and free flow. The children are engaged in purposeful play and each child is supported to develop to their full potential. The staff are amazing and truly feel they care about the children. My daughter went for 3-years, during that time, we had a traumatic time, and they took extra care of her, I didn’t need to worry about her being looked after when I wasn’t around. My son has been there for over a year and loves it just
as much. All the children are happy and excited to be there!
The outside areas are great and really encourage imagination. Mine have always come home happy and filthy meaning they’ve had a fun day.

I have two children at Hopscotch Day Nursery Botley, and we are very happy with the quality of care and the education provision provided. I am a teacher myself and was very particular about choosing my nursery and selected this one on the basis of some strong recommendations and the learning experiences
and level of care they provided. One of my children is currently in the preschool hall and he thoroughly enjoys their themes, which really help to develop his enquiring mind. My daughter is also thriving and very happy in her toddler room. The food is well thought out although possibly sometimes too fancy and the children don't always eat the more unusual foods! I would recommend this nursery.

What a wonderful setting.
The staff could not be more attentive or enthusiastic. The food and facilities are fantastic. The information received at the end of the day and via the app is detailed and helpful. The pre-school team spend so much time outside. The focus on fun whilst learning is great.
Our child has loved the events and initiatives of the pre-school team, highlights were the police officer visit and the mask making competition.
After being disappointed by Bright Horizons, we have been thoroughly impressed by Hopscotch and would highly recommend the setting.

Fantastic nursery, my youngest is finishing this month to go to school and I’ll be very sad to say goodbye. My son is happy here and has really grown and flourished in his time here. Amazing place. Both my boys go and love it there. The staff are all amazing and do a great job. Food is excellent, always nice knowing your child has had a healthy hot meal for the day. Both my boys love it there and can’t wait to go, love seeing the stuff they do and keeps you updated with what they
have done. This nursery is excellent and have peace of mind that they are happy and safe.

Both my daughter and son have attended Hopscotch in Botley over the past few years.


The care they have received has been wonderful.


They have been supported incredibly well by team members in all the different age groups to help their behaviour, learning and to develop social skills.


The team

has also been a great help to my husband and I. They have worked with us to enable consistency of activities, boundaries and behaviours between nursery and home.


All decisions and activities are undertaken with the welfare of the children in mind and all of them have such fun together.


The team feel like members of our family and we will miss going there when our son leaves for school.

A really fantastic, welcoming and friendly nursery. All staff across the nursery take a real, personal interest in each child so that as a parent you know your child is being well cared for and looked after.
I have recommended the nursery to many friends and will do so again - we have been so happy
over the last 7 years for both our children.

Fantastic nursery. The staff are great and my little girl is settling really well having had the disruption of moving house and nursery. Everyone has made real efforts to help her and I always feel at ease leaving her. Thank you to everyone but especially the amazing toddler room staff.

Our son started here a few months ago and we are really pleased with how he has settled. We chose this nursery because we liked how welcoming all the staff were. They all welcomed our son, smiled at him and offered him to join in. Every member of staff looked happy and said hello. Above all, all the
children looked happy, safe and engaged in all the exciting learning opportunities. We are thrilled to say that this level of care and learning has continued. We love all of the Tapestry comments and pictures and feel the communication is so strong between us and the staff. Staff always comment on anything we upload too and have often shared these photos in the setting to our son to help him feel more settled. We are excited for our little boy's journey to continue here and look forward to seeing all the exciting things he will learn and discover as well as making new friends. A big thank you to all staff for always answering our questions so fully and taking the time to find out more about our little boy.

My son started at Hopscotch Day Nursery Botley in July 2017 and has come on leaps and bounds since being here.


The team are happy and welcoming and always available for a chat if you have any questions or concerns. They complete a number of activities with the children and I enjoy receiving the updates

about this on Tapestry.


My son has a food allergy and they have been very accommodating to his needs, I feel reassured that they are looking after him.


Have recommended Hopscotch to a number of my friends in the area as I am very impressed.

My son absolutely loves coming the nursery. The staff are always so welcoming, friendly and professional. The activities that I see him doing on his Tapestry are fantastic. The staff are sensitive to his individual needs when it comes down to settling him to sleep etc. I am so impressed with the healthy

I cannot say enough positive things about Hopscotch Botley. Both my wife and I were very anxious about our one-year-old boy starting at nursery but he settled in perfectly within a few weeks. The staff were so supportive and understanding of our anxieties. Our little boy loves coming to nursery and
smiles as he arrives. He has now moved into the Waddler room and equally loves his time. He goes outside every day which is something that is really important to me. I couldn't be happier about him coming to nursery now.

I can't speak highly enough of Hopscotch Day Nursery Botley. My son has been going since he turned one and is just getting ready to move into the toddler's room. The care and attention given to him in both the babies and waddlers rooms have been exceptional. His walking, talking and all-round skills
have all developed since starting and I love hearing about the new things he has been discovering on his days there. The nursery is so welcoming it actually feels like I am dropping him off with family. Which when they are so small is priceless.

Hopscotch Day Nursery Botley has been our chosen nursery provider since our first daughter was 10 months old, back in 2013. Time has flown and she is now in her final year before starting 'big school'! From those first months in the baby room through to Pre-school Hall, we have watched our daughter
develop and grow in confidence, learning and exploring through play in safe surroundings with fantastic resources. We know she is ready for her next adventure in September and this is all thanks to the staff, who truly are amazing, nothing is ever too much trouble, experienced, kind and nurturing. So in June last year, we started all over again with our 10-month-old baby boy. The second time around there wasn't any of the apprehensions experienced finding suitable, trustworthy childcare for our precious baby. We knew our baby boy would do nothing but thrive and eight months in he is fully settled and ready to move up to Waddlers in a few months.

My two children are currently at Hopscotch. Both started very young 5m. Leaving such a young child in the care of a non-family member is a very stressful and worrying time as a mother. The staff from reception right through to the staff in each room, are so warm and friendly and made the process much
easier than I ever thought possible. Hopscotch is one big family, caring for my family.

I can't begin to explain just how good this nursery is. My little lady goes to bed every night, and wakes up every morning excited to be going to Hopscotch. She transferred from a different nursery where they'd not heard her talk let alone laugh. She does both non stop at Hopscotch, and this is because
of the love and care the staff show to her (and all of the other children) she finally feels safe and secure when she's away from me. Once I've dropped her off in the mornings I don't worry about her while I'm at work because I know 100% that the staff will always act in her best interest.

Hi, I’m Jodie and I am the manager at Hopscotch Botley. I have worked in the Early Years for 25 years, starting as an apprentice. I have worked in various settings over the years and have spent 7 years working in a school supporting SEN children.


I am delighted to be part of the Hopscotch team and look forward to working with my deputy Olivia Doyle.
We aim to provide all our children with a rich learning environment, where each child is able to explore and flourish supported by highly-skilled, passionate practitioners.

Hi I'm Kirsty, I'm the deputy manager here at Hopscotch Botley. I have been with the company since 2012 and I have experienced many different roles throughout my childcare career, including working my way up from bank staff to the waddler room leader, before moving onto my role here at nursery as Deputy Manager. I have two children so I understand how important early years care is. They have both attended the Titchfield setting as I know Hopscotch is the best care for them. I am excited to bring my ideas and knowledge into the role and am passionate about building links within the local community.
