Twizzle Tops Day Nursery offer you a warm welcome, they know how hard it is to make the choices as a parent, that’s why as soon as you walk into their setting, you feel straight at home.

Twizzle Tops Day nursery are a home from home nursery set in the most amazing surrounding and building, Wat Tyler Country Park. They offer an all-inclusive fee schedule that includes all nappies, wipes, formula and meals. Twizzle Tops Day nursery has an array of fully qualified and experienced, local knowledgeable staff. Your child will receive outstanding childcare at affordable prices.

Staff hold qualifications from Level 2 to two staff with degrees in childcare, learning and teaching.

Recognised by the local authority, they are also a specialist nursery for children under the special educational needs umbrella, all children with additional needs receive a specialist one to one nursery practitioner.

They even have a British Sign Language staff member, who will work with your child to develop this form of communication. This member of staff is Deaf and works with any children who are Deaf or need additional support one to one.

Not only does the nursery have a huge amount of natural resources, boasting a messy play station, self serve food areas and a unique educational centre, where children can learn about the local wildlife and history of Wat Tyler Country Park, all located within the nursery, but your child will also receive a free annual pass for all the Partyman world of play venues and passes for Marsh Farm.

Spanish lessons and keep fit are all additional classes, all included.

All staff hold relevant police checks (Current DBS) and paediatric first aid training. The nursery has qualified speech and language practitioners and four safeguarding lead officers.

They also have a fully qualified health and safety nursery practitioner and behaviour management nursery practitioner, all in house.

My little girl has been settling in ready for September. The nursery staff have been outstanding with her, at first she was a little scared and overwhelmed but the staff took her under her wing gently encouraging her, showing her so many different activities she had never done before.


Her roleplay

has come on leaps and bounds and can’t believe the change in my daughter in such a short space of time thanks to the nursery staff.


The manager greets us every morning with her huge infectious smile, always so upbeat and enthusiastic you can’t help but walk away knowing your child is in safe hands and they are going to have a great day. Thank you for making me feel so at ease leaving my daughter with you.


I now have a very excited, confident and contented 3-year old who cannot wait to be going Twizzle Tops Day Nursery Basildon 3 days a week from September.

I just wanted to leave a review on Twizzle Tops Day Nursery Basildon.


As I am in the public eye, I have had to look for a trusted nursery, a nursery that understands confidentiality and also that my career can take many late notices.


Twizzle Tops have always remained professional and also extremely

forgiving in these circumstances, always allowing me to drop my children off in a hurry or when I needed them to look after my two young children.


The management team, have always remained confidential and I have always had full trust in the whole team.
The nursery manager has been a huge support to me and my family and I cannot thank her enough.


A wonderful, down to Earth nursery, with great, qualified and experienced staff.


It is renowned for being known as one of the best nurseries in Essex and has won many awards, this I echo and would not ever consider taking my children anywhere else.

Twizzle Tops is an amazing nursery. As soon as I walked in and met the manager and the team I felt so comfortable with my little boy going here. They helped him so much and he went off to school a happy confident little boy, now my little girl goes here and absolutely loves it! I couldn't recommend

Friendly and professional staff, clean nursery, very well organised.
My son started nursery when he was only 10 months old and has come a very long way in terms of education and being around other children.

My son took some time to settle into nursery at first but I couldn't thank the staff at Twizzle Tops enough for all the hard work they did in getting him to settle in. He loves being at nursery now and is so happy there and this is a result of the staff's perseverance. The staff at Twizzle Tops are
so lovely and the nursery has a real family feel about it. They do lots of great activities for the children and communicate this well to the parents. I would recommend this nursery.

Heavy snow, most schools shut but the nursery has stayed open in turn letting my son sleep after a night shift. Kept updated regarding the weather etc.


The nursery has been so supportive of us as a family whilst going through a tough time.
Couldn’t have chosen a better nursery for our granddaughter.

There's always a great energy in the nursery led by manager and her deputy. My granddaughter loves the food, the atmosphere, story time and song time.
Her key worker makes us all very welcome it's very clean and has a real family feel. Special events like graduations are held with a great deal of effort
put in by the whole team. A wonderful place.

Twizzle Tops was the first nursery my partner and I looked at for our daughter and knew straight away that regardless of how many others we looked at she would be attending there, we just had that 'feeling'!
Even now, 9 months later, we still can't pinpoint exactly what made us love the nursery so
much, the staff are amazing and our daughter loves being there. You are kept so up to date with daily activities and if your little one has had a bump the staff are straight on the phone to let you know and reassure you they are fine.
I can't recommend this nursery enough and we are incredibly lucky to have found such a place for our daughter.

The staff are amazing, caring and loving. The surroundings of the nursery are great, they have the play centre that the children use. The nursery itself is always clean and my child was always happy there. Brilliant nursery all round.

My son has attended Twizzle Tops for a year now, and he has come along so much since starting. My son is partially deaf and delayed in development, and the manager and his key worker have been amazing with him. They have learnt some BSL to help with his communication skills and are willing to help no
matter what.

Twizzle Tops is a fantastic nursery, my little boy really enjoys going here.
All the staff are so polite and friendly and I know my son is in safe hands, nothing is too much trouble for the staff and they go above and beyond to look after your child and do what's best for them.
I would highly recommend
Twizzle Tops to anyone. Children are always given a variety of different foods, everything is very clean and tidy and has a very homely feel.
I think the manager and the team do a fantastic job and I wouldn't want my son to go to any other nursery.

Fantastic setting and staff. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for daycare. My son has been with the nursery since 13 weeks old and they have been fantastic throughout.

My daughter started at this nursery in September 2017. She had a bit of a hard time settling in at first, but she now absolutely loves it. The staff have worked so hard to make her feel settled and I can't thank them enough. The nursery is always clean and presentable, and all the staff are really friendly
and approachable. They all seem to have a great relationship with the children, it's lovely to see how close my daughter has become to them all. She now asks every morning if it's nursery day. I'd highly recommend this fantastic nursery to anyone.

My name is Frankie and I am the Nursery Manager for Twizzle Tops based within Partyman World of Play Basildon, I have been in post since January 2013 and was previously the Deputy Manager. I work alongside a fantastic team who are all qualified and experienced in their own childcare fields. I also hold a level four in Children's Care and Development, and I am going on to study for my Degree later this year.
