Twizzle Tops Day Nursery offer you a warm welcome, they know how hard it is to make the choices as a parent, that’s why as soon as you walk into their setting, you feel straight at home.

Twizzle Tops Day nursery are a home from home nursery set in the most amazing surrounding and building, Wat Tyler Country Park. They offer an all-inclusive fee schedule that includes all nappies, wipes, formula and meals. Twizzle Tops Day nursery has an array of fully qualified and experienced, local knowledgeable staff. Your child will receive outstanding childcare at affordable prices.

Staff hold qualifications from Level 2 to two staff with degrees in childcare, learning and teaching.

Recognised by the local authority, they are also a specialist nursery for children under the special educational needs umbrella, all children with additional needs receive a specialist one to one nursery practitioner.

They even have a British Sign Language staff member, who will work with your child to develop this form of communication. This member of staff is Deaf and works with any children who are Deaf or need additional support one to one.

Not only does the nursery have a huge amount of natural resources, boasting a messy play station, self serve food areas and a unique educational centre, where children can learn about the local wildlife and history of Wat Tyler Country Park, all located within the nursery, but your child will also receive a free annual pass for all the Partyman world of play venues and passes for Marsh Farm.

Spanish lessons and keep fit are all additional classes, all included.

All staff hold relevant police checks (Current DBS) and paediatric first aid training. The nursery has qualified speech and language practitioners and four safeguarding lead officers.

They also have a fully qualified health and safety nursery practitioner and behaviour management nursery practitioner, all in house.

Like all parents, you want the best for your children, and Twizzle Tops Basildon provides this in abundance. Our daughter has been at the nursery since she was one. She was a shy girl and very clingy, but with the help and guidance from all her teachers, her confidence has blossomed. Yes, we still have
the clingy days, but we know she has the time of life at the nursery. A special mention to all who have been our daughter's key workers through the years and helped her flourish. Also, a great big thank you to the manager for driving her team to be the best in what they do.

My daughter has come on leaps and bounds with this nursery. My son will definitely be attending when he’s old enough. The help she has had to develop to who she is now has meant she has grown completely and that’s all thanks to the staff, who are all so lovely and helpful.

My daughter has been attending Twizzle Tops Day Nursery Basildon since she was one years old. I have always been overwhelmed with the staff members knowledge, care and understanding. My daughter suffers sadly with lot's of allergies and conditions but the team here have been amazing with her. They have
created a specialist care plan, work with me constantly to ensure that my daughter has an array of food from the fantastic menu and also support me as a parent when I have difficult days. My daughters key person is so lovely and treats my daughter like her own. I often collect her and she is having a cuddle with her and shows a genuine interest in her learning, care and achievements. This nursery deserves a medal, they truly are amazing. It is very clear that they are there for your child and you as a family, in which I truly also feel a part of. My boy joined the nursery 2-years ago. He went in a shy boy, and when it came time for him to move onto big school, he was confident and outgoing, this was because of the staff at Twizzle Tops Day Nursery Basildon. I have used this nursery both privately and as a funded parent. Treatment, advise and care are the same regardless of being a paying parent or not.
They do not rush you to get a child settled and offer many sessions to help make it easy.
They are always fun and there to help you when you need it.
They have a great online portal for seeing what your children have been up to and where they are on the curriculum.

My daughter had been going to this nursery for eight months and I have been so happy with her progression and how content she is with being there. I have no worries while at work and I can tell how much she enjoys it when I see her so happy at the end of the day.
The nursery have been great during
Covid-19, they have fully supported the current situation and have even video called my daughter to keep on touch. I know if I needed any help with home activities they would be more than happy to help and have put online videos to keep the children entertained while at home.
We can't wait to be able to go back and for my daughter to continue her journey with the amazing staff there.

Twizzle Tops is an amazing nursery and always puts the little ones first for their needs and wants. My son loves the school, it was a big change as he was in a different nursery for a few years but due to the virus, his school closed and thankfully after looking, we found Twizzle Tops and my son has

I returned to work when my son was 8.5 months old, back into a full time role which meant he would attend 3 full days a week. I remember walking in for his first session and feeling completely overwhelmed at it all. The manageress just put her arms around me and told me not to worry, he and I will both
be fine. He’s now 2 and absolutely smashing through life with so much character, intelligence, empathy and knowledge and I owe this to all the staff at Twizzle Tops. He (and I) are welcomed like one of the family each morning, the staff are just an extension of our lives now. They are all amazing, professional, polite, confident in what they do and care so much for each of those children like they are their own. Every single of them have passion for their job, they all have a fantastic attitude and the manageress, manages them all so successfully, but makes it looks so easy. The facilities are amazing, the care is out of this world and no request is ever too much! Well done guys.

Having been let down by a nursery, I found myself coming to the Basildon branch 5 weeks before going back to work. Honestly, it's the best thing that could have happened. The staff worked with me to fit in settling sessions, sort out signing up etc. The staff are amazing, my little one loves going there,
they use a mixture of play techniques to encourage growth and confidence, your keyworker will work with you to reach specific goals at each stage of development. There is a Facebook group only for parents where pictures are posted daily (hourly at times) of all the activities which include singing, reading, sensory play with sand, oats, foam etc. On days when my son was poorly, I received calls to let me know what was going on and was encouraged to ring and check on him, at no time did I feel like I had rung at a bad time. The food is a brilliant mixture which means children have a balanced daily diet that introduces them to new foods.

My twin boys have attended this nursery for about 10 months. They’re now 20 months old and have developed so much during that time that everyone asks how I do it. Honestly, I couldn’t have done half of it without the wonderful support from the nursery staff. Thank you so much. My boys love coming in

The nursery is amazing. My little girl absolutely loves coming and never comes home unhappy. She asks every morning to come to nursery. I am very happy with the staff and nursery and feel they are all very committed and love the children they all work with. Just wish I would have known about the nursery

Everyone at Twizzle Tops Nursery is fantastic, all the staff are caring to each child's needs.

Starting Nursery is a very emotional time for most parents and we were no different. My little girl joined Twizzle Tops Nursery in Basildon a few weeks ago and absolutely loves it!!
The Manager and her Team are so kind, caring, thoughtful and supportive that I was able to witness this from the very
start, through to the settling in days and even now when we pick up my Daughter each evening.
I would most definitely recommend this Nursery and it’s Team due to their superb quality of care, friendliness, initiative and enthusiasm each and every day.

My son has been going to Twizzle Tops for 18 months, I feel confident when dropping him off in the mornings as he always goes in happy and keen to see all the staff members.
The staff are great at communicating, having a daily sheet with all the information on about his day. The atmosphere in the room
is very relaxing, friendly and welcoming. The observations and displays around the room really show how the staff support the children's learning and development. All of his observations are uploaded regularly online for me to see where exactly he is with his development - I am very happy with the nursery and would highly recommend it.

My name is Frankie and I am the Nursery Manager for Twizzle Tops based within Partyman World of Play Basildon, I have been in post since January 2013 and was previously the Deputy Manager. I work alongside a fantastic team who are all qualified and experienced in their own childcare fields. I also hold a level four in Children's Care and Development, and I am going on to study for my Degree later this year.
