Mother Goose Corner Nursery & Preschool is a caring, family-run children's day nursery and pre-school based in central Huntingdon. The nursery offers full day and wrap-around care to children from birth to primary school age.

The professional, caring and dynamic staff are well qualified and enthusiastic, and collectively have many years of experience. The nursery was rated Outstanding by Ofsted in September 2015.

Wonderful nursery, my son thrives in the environment mentally and physically. We have changed nurseries due to us moving areas and we were very worried about how my son will accommodate and adjust to the change, as he is a bit shy. Especially as he is at preschool stage.
The staff (and of course the
admin team as well) could not be more helpful, understanding and accommodating. It went all very smooth and my son absolutely loves it there. He received the care, love and nourishment he needed. As a result of this, he is more confident than ever before. They learn as well as play very hard. I honestly would highly recommend this nursery to every parent.

This nursery has been absolutely amazing for my daughter. It is so lovely to see how excited she is when dropping her off. The staff are so lovely and you can see they really care. I’m so grateful to have been recommended this nursery!

Absolutely wonderful nursery. Both of our children have attended this setting with our daughter now in the tweenie room. She has had some recent health concerns and nursery have been fantastic with helping us monitor this. She always comes home smiling and full of talk about all the things she has done.
The staff are all lovely and all the food is freshly made on-site so I know she's been fed healthy food that isn't filled with additives.

My little girl absolutely loves attending Mother Goose in the pre-school room! She has only been attending since January but she is already happy and comfortable with the staff.


They do a great range of activities; and she particularly loved the Easter fun with the arrival of the hatching chicks;

card making and of course the egg hunt!

My daughter has been going to Mother Goose since she was 18 months old and has always enjoyed going. Now that she is 3 and in preschool we always look forward to hearing about her day! Her “teachers” are her “best friends”, she loves to interact with all of the staff who are quite frankly brilliant.
She has never had a bad day there. Staff are fab, management are fab, the settings are lovely and they really do bring out the best in children that attend, especially our little girl who is learning so much in the time she does go. Lots of encouragement, activities, fun and care. We would not use or recommend anywhere else. Any further children we may have shall attend Mother Goose. Not a bad word to say and we can only thank them for providing such a great service to our little girl.

This month has seen my daughter taking steps to make the transition to preschool.
This has been done gradually and thoughtfully ensuring that a time, that could be scary, has been exciting.
She is happy to go in every day and runs off without even saying bye!
Being at nursery my daughter has gone
from a nervous little girl who wouldn't even go on a slide at the park to an excitable toddler going on a heater skelter and even a roller coaster at the beach.
I always feel relaxed leaving my daughter, knowing how well she will be cared for and have no doubt my son will be just as happy when he joins.

Nursery staff is really helpful and patient with kids. Owner is quite easily approachable and she is normally the politest person you will find. Kid really loves the time spent in nursery.
They are flexible and open for changes in schedules, especially during settling sessions. During COVID, nursery
was really considerable and a lot of adjustments were made in fees structure and were flexible to adjust payment schedule, as per needs.

Fantastic nursery, we have both kids here. The staff are amazing and very caring. The environment is great with a large outside garden. You can tell they love what they do. We have recently visited few additional local nurseries, and I can honestly say Mother Goose is the best.

We have had two children go through Mother Goose Corner Nursery, and I can't recommend it highly enough. We have gone through all the rooms, and I think it's safe to say our children have brilliantly looked after. Staff are approachable and knowledgeable and will always aim to work with parents to iron
out the inevitable issues that children manage to produce! Children leave the nursery well equipped to start school, with lots confidence, independence and the ability to mix and play with other children.

Bright, fun and caring nursery with superb staff, location and outdoor area. We are very pleased both our children can visit this nursery. I currently have a 4 year old at this nursery who will soon to be leaving to begin life at school. My 6 year old was also at this nursery. After 6 years, Mother Goose Corner has proven to be an exceptional nursery where both my children having throughly enjoyed it. The staff have all been fantastic,
working with the children and bringing out the best in them. They have always displayed great professionalism and each employee has taken the time to build a relationship with my daughter which I can see when she comes home talking about all the things she has done and with whom. This past year has been very challenging but Mother Goose has always communicated and updated us on all the changes that have taken place as and when. In recent months, in preparation for school my daughter has done a great deal of educational learning with the staff which will be very helpful and useful when she goes to school. This nursery provides excellent hot meals for the children which are freshly made on the day.

My child has been going to this nursery for over two years, the nursery has always provided excellent care and my child always comes back having had a great time. Before the pandemic, they included swimming lessons and outings as part of the fees - one of the main reason I was drawn to the nursery in
the first instance.


The nursery really came into its own when the pandemic hit. I faced numerous difficulties during this time and they went the extra mile to see that we were okay and to support us. From one to one meetings to help manage troublesome behaviour and phone calls to support my well being as a parent, they really went above and beyond.


I would highly recommend this nursery to any parent!

Where do I start! It is such a pleasure being part of such an amazing nursery, and amazing group of people, with our little boy! It's his first time at a nursery, and in the beginning, it was a little scary for him, especially due to lockdown... but it didn't take him long to become best friends with
everyone there! Now he gets so excited! They are so lovely, from the photos and videos I can see he has so much fun and learns so much! I trust them all 100% and couldn't recommend a better environment for little ones to start their journey away from home and of learning and growing. I am happy knowing that whilst he is there he is having fun, being well looked after, being fed very well and his confidence is growing. I am always excited to hear the stories about his day at the end. The prices are very fair too for what you get! Any questions you may have are answered straight away and service all round is amazing! Thank you Mother Goose Corner for your hard work! (Especially the Tweenie room).

Both my girls are full time at Mother Goose Corner. As a parent, you always feel guilty with regards to work-life balance, but knowing they are having the best time, developing and having fun with the wonderful team there makes it all ok. They do cooking, water play, sand play, painting - and all sorts
of other things I could not pull off at home. Mother Goose Corner comes with my highest recommendation.

Our son started at Mother Goose in January 2021 at 18 months old. He took a long time to settle in and I found it particularly upsetting as we had never been apart for more than an hour or two due to lockdown.
All of the staff at Mother Goose have gone above and beyond to settle him in, especially
the tweenie room leader and other staff, although the staff of other rooms and the cook all know our son by name and are extremely friendly, kind and caring. The activities the staff do with the children are varied, educational, fun and exciting for the children. The garden area is great with lots of toys and equipment which the children use in all weather. We have been overwhelmed by how loving Mother Goose Corner is, which is so important when leaving your young child in someone else's care. We would not hesitate to recommend Mother Goose Corner to any friends or anyone with a child, as we believe you couldn't find better elsewhere.
