Mother Goose Corner Nursery & Pre-School

We have had a great experience at mother goose nursery and pre-school. My little one has attended this nursery since she was only 8 months old and she has been thriving. The staff are caring and the senior management team is always responsive to queries and supportive. I would highly recommend mother goose nursery to other parents.

We knew as soon as we walked in to Mother Goose Corner that it was the right place for our daughter. Nearly three years later, we are delighted with how she has thrived under the care of Beverley and the team. This is a happy, caring and inclusive environment with a real family feel, where the children explore everything from nature and the outdoors, creative arts and crafts, to languages and different cultures. The staff work daily wonders, and their enthusiasm and genuine love for their work is clear, both to us as parents and to the children. Our daughter has formed lovely relationships with the adults who support her, and we as parents also feel supported as we navigate potty training, developmental milestones and other significant moments together. We get individual feedback each day, plus photos and insights into our daughter's little expanding world. Mother Goose Corner really feels like an extension of our family, and we cannot adequately express our gratitude.

I currently have two sons at Mother Goose, one in preschool and one in the baby room, and they both love going to nursery every day.

My eldest has been attending since he was less than a year old, and throughout his time there, I've seen the positive impact the nursery has had on his development. All his key workers have been incredibly caring and supportive, and the rest of the staff have been fantastic with him too.

Through every milestone, from introducing solid foods to potty training, the staff have been wonderful with our boys. They've also supported us as parents, offering guidance and reassurance as we navigate each new stage.

We're raising both our boys vegan, and the nursery has always supported our choice, making sure they have suitable meals. We really appreciate the care and attention given to their dietary needs.

Having moved nursery to send our child to Mother Goose, we couldn't be more pleased. From the screen-free policy, to measures that are implemented with fidelity to ensure safety, we're really happy. The curriculum is good, and there is sufficient variety. This week, our 4 year old went on a nature walk, went swimming, came home talking about a number of stories, and played outside a lot.

The people who work there are great - and this includes when we unavoidably cause issues (eg stuck behind an accident in traffic) and are unrelentingly positive. The management are approachable and consider feedback well.

Sending our babies off to nursery every day is like removing our hearts and hoping they're okay for 10 hours of the day. We couldn't be more grateful for the love, care, attention and fun they get from their time at mother goose. Every member of staff that's ever worked with our babies has been unbelievably patient, kind, thoughtful, engaging and just so brilliant at what they do! All staff have made the transition to nursery and between each room so easy and seamless, allowing our babies to settle and thrive in no time! They all know each of their quirks, things to make them laugh and little personality traits and we so appreciate how seen our babies feel! We couldn't ask for a better place for our babes and are so glad we made the decision to send them here. Appreciate everything this brilliant place offers us. Couldn't recommend more!

Our daughter loves going to Mother Goose, the place has a really good atmosphere. There are always activities or something taking place and (weather permitting) outdoor play. We've found staff helpful and friendly, not only in day to day nursery updates, but with advice around other milestones such as potty training.

We have both our children (3 and 1) at Mother Goose. It's a wonderful place for both kids and we couldn't be happier. The staff in the baby room were brilliant with both kids helping them adapt to nursery life. Our 3 year old has made lots of friends and is often a bit sad when it's home time. I'd strongly recommend this nursery.

The team have been really accomodating and considerate and my son now loves going to the nursery, playing with his friends, and learning. He is now starting to get into maths and really enjoys telling me about what he's learned there.

Mother Goose has made returning to full-time work so much easier, knowing my boys are so happy, loved and wonderfully cared for every day. I couldn't ask for more from a nursery and feel incredibly lucky to have found such a special place for them. I couldn't recommend it more highly!

P.S. Huge respect for taking entire groups of toddlers to a swimming pool every week.

We never had a problem and saw how much this nursery helped our little boy from baby room to Tweenies. Unfortunately due to a job change we had to move but even now being 150 miles away we'd come back to Mother Goose in a heartbeat!

Both my children have attended this wonderful, warm, welcoming nursery and pre-school. The staff do an amazing job of looking after all the children with their different needs and stages of development. Plenty of running around outdoors, in most weathers, is really encouraged. The food goes down well! Couldn't recommend enough.

My child looks forward to spending time at nursery and with his main carer. He eats well and enjoys the food. There are always lots of activities focused around my child's development. Management are incredibly well organized, incredibly receptive to feedback and also helpful showing much empathy.

My husband and I could honestly not be happier with this nursery. Our eldest (who is now in their Preschool) has attended Mother Goose since the baby room and has continued to thrive throughout her time there. Our youngest is also due to start with them in the new year.

All members of staff are warm, welcoming, polite and caring. They are more than happy to give us advice when needed and have also taken the time to really get to know our child and form positive relationships with her. Their communication with us has always been brilliant and they have created many happy memories and experiences for our child. We could honestly not recommend this nursery enough and cannot wait for our youngest to have those same magical experiences.

My son has grown in confidence since being in the preschool room. Every morning when he gets up for preschool he is so excited to go in. His key worker has supported both me and my son through the recent difficult time. (As have all the staff). She understands my son and his difficulties and supports him throughout his day. She helps me by giving suggestions and ways I can help my son with his development. The staff gives great feedback about his day, both positive and less positive! He seems to have a strong bond with his key worker and completely trusts her. I am so grateful to all the staff

My son spent 2.5 years here before starting school and my daughter has just completed 3 years and is still there until next September. I am amazed at the consistency this nursery achieves in operating at such high standards in all aspects all year round. It is testament to the culture the senior leaders have created, excellent recruitment of staff and the individual staff members who all care. Both children were/are very happy attending, it boosted their confidence and social behaviour, significantly contributed to their learning and development and they have fond memories of previous as well as current staff members. I also like the extracurricular activities such as attending local care homes and swimming and the individual attention they give to the children depending on their stage of development. I would not hesitate to recommend this nursery - and indeed we frequently do to friends.

We are moving from the area soon and I’m devastated that we’ll be leaving Mother Goose behind. But we know that our little boy will have no problems settling into his new nursery as Mother Goose has given him the confidence and social skills to fit right in.

The staff are all knowledgeable in the subject matter of children's behaviour and ways to help growth.

Excellent Nursery that pays great attention to all their children. Even the administrator is involved and the kids love her too.

The preschool is good but I think it's just very busy. They have recently changed a lot of staff so maybe the new staff is taking a bit of time to settle.

But overall very good nursery and the manager is amazing as well.
