Highly recommend: my son started here just before he turned one and had been at the nursery for just under a year before the lockdown happened. The staff have always been professional, friendly and caring and their communication perfect. My son struggled to separate from me to start with but the team were so caring and kind that I felt absolutely fine leaving him with them. They were so patient with him as he took a while to settle but their efforts paid off and he soon loved being there. They really got to know him so well and always catered to his interests and needs. He has missed nursery so much while being off over the Covid period. Communication from the nursery has been great throughout this time too and if I was not currently able to keep my son at home, I would be fully confident to put him back at nursery with the current risk assessments etc they have in place. This is a lovely, nurturing nursery with a brilliant outdoor area (and they spend loads of time outside too)

My son came into their preschool group after we moved into the area from another nursery. He adjusted very easily and always enjoys going. The staff who take care of the children always seem to be in a good mood and attentive to the children. My son enjoys all the activities they put on during the day and the staff make an effort to do different things each day. The facilities are very good- large space for the children both indoors and outdoors, especially outdoors with a good size play area and toys for the kids to play with. The food menu which is served also seems to be of good variety and healthy.

We have always been so happy with Daybreak and all its staff. They know and really care about the children. Our son is so happy there and we have great confidence in his care and wellbeing. They are flexible and supportive. We fully trust them with the development of our son. Highly recommend Daybreak to anyone.

My son loves his time at Daybreak. He started in the baby room and has recently moved to the pre-school room and has been happy at every stage. It's so reassuring to see him running in with a smile on his face to be welcomed by the team who I know will take such good care of him while I'm at work. I would highly recommend Daybreak Shepherds Lane to any local parents. The staff are so good with the children and keep parents updated and informed with their child's day and their ongoing progress. I really value the photos and updates of what my son has done during the day on the app.

I have been impressed by the level of care given to my son since he started. The daily warm welcome of the staff makes both children and parents alike feel at ease. Seeing the smile on my boy's face as we drive into the car park is proof enough for me that the team at Daybreak Shepherds Lane are doing something right.

I am so happy with Daybreak, I will be sad when my son leaves in September for school which also means my daughter needs to change nursery (due to logistics only). The staff are always there to help, on the phone, email and face to face. The outside area is so lovely and big for them to explore. The app is a great way to see what the children have been up to in photo form. I can’t thank Daybreak enough.

I have nothing but positive things to say about Daybreak Nursery in Rickmansworth Shepard Lane. My daughter has been there since she was 9 months old and loves it and all the staff. I chose the nursery mainly for the outside space as she loves being outside. The staff have supported both myself and Emy daughter and are always so attentive and lovely.

This nursery is great! I left my 6 month year old there when I started back at work. Directly, the staff made me feel I could trust them with my son. He gets lots of cuddles there! He has developed so so much in the last months, it's incredible! The nursery staff make him do things I would never have the time or energy to do! He's interacting with other kids his own age and older, it's just great!

My son has attended Daybreak for over 3 years and has been in the baby room, the toddler room and the preschool room. I have been happy with all aspects of his care but what has impressed me most about the nursery has been the commitment of the team caring for him. It is clear that the staff genuinely care about the children and show great kindness towards them. As a working parent, it’s important to me that my son receives cuddles and reassurance where necessary whilst in the nursery and this has always been the case at Daybreak, throughout all the rooms. There is a strong sense of routine which really helped early on with his eating and sleeping but the children are also treated as individuals and encouraged to thrive.

Daybreak Rickmansworth Shepherds Lane has been a home away from home for my 2-year-old son. We have recently moved to Rickmansworth from overseas and Daybreak has assisted in this transition. Their loving care and attention to detail with each child is wonderful to stimulate growth and confidence. Each morning they receive the children with care and at the end of each day give a detailed individual account of the day's events. At the parent-teacher meeting, we received an in-depth assessment of how our son was meeting the developmental milestones and age-appropriate goals.

I have been very happy having my child at daybreak RSL, the staff are very good and show a genuine interest in my child's care and development. The outdoor space is superb!

Fantastic nursery. Friendly caring staff who always look after my daughter well. They are always smiling even on the busy days and always have time to chat if I want to. My daughter always has a brilliant time when she goes and comes out smiling. They have always Managed to cater for my daughter's food allergies well and are happy to work with me regarding her eating and food. Would highly recommend.

I strongly recommend Daybreak Nursery, if you are a very stressed mum as I am and you have a very fussy child, this is the perfect place. The ladies are very professional, they are explaining and detailing everything, they make the babies feel at home, lots of cuddling, playing, encouraging to eat. They have the patience and resources to handle our babies even better than us, the parents.

We are extremely happy with the care that our son is receiving from the nursery. All the key workers are genuinely caring and always very attentive to every child. We have witnessed this all across the board and not just in the baby room. Our son has a number of allergies; dairy, nuts and eggs. We have been blown away about how attentive the nursery have been to cater for his needs! They make sure he always has balanced complete meals by sourcing a variety of 'free from' meals such as dairy free muffins, fruit pot yoghurts and snacks. They have never made him feel differently to the other babies. They do it all effortlessly and it never seems like it's too much trouble. Our son has now developed a real enjoyment for his meals which he didn't before. This was a particular worry for us due to his condition. Daybreak Nurseries Rickmansworth Shepherds Lane is a wonderful setting. The staff are always kind, friendly and approachable. I feel extremely happy leaving my daughter there.

My daughter has been attending Daybreak at Rickmansworth Shepherd's Lane since she was 10 months and she is now just over 2. She has come on so much since she has been there and really loves it. The staff there are wonderful with the children, so warm, friendly and welcoming. They get a great mix of activities and do lots of playing outside. It is a really lovely community and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the nursery to others.

My son has been attending Daybreak Nursery in Shepherds Lane for over a year now and he loves it! The staff are fantastic and take a real interest in each child. Every day we get a full report on the activities he has done throughout the day, how long he has slept for and what he has eaten etc. Dropping a moody/sleepy child off in the morning can be a stressful task sometimes but the staff make it so easy and quickly get him involved and active with the other kids. Really couldn't recommend the nursery highly enough.
