Bright Horizons East Barnet Day Nursery and Preschool

We have been at Bright Horizons East Barnet for nearly two years now and are incredibly happy with the nursery and all the staff. Our son loves going into nursery and we have seen him thrive there. It is clear the staff are committed to their jobs and truly care about the children. I feel like our son (and the other children) are in a fun, caring and stimulating environment. The staff keep us well informed at all times and provide help and guidance readily when we have asked for it. This year especially they have worked very hard to keep the nursery running and safe during the pandemic and to keep all the children and staff as safe as possible. They have been brilliant at managing my son's allergies and making sure his food is safe for him. Well done team Bright Horizons East Barnet, you are all fantastic!

Thank you to the whole of the East Barnet nursery team. During the most difficult of times (COVID), the team have pulled together to maintain such a high standard of professionalism, hygiene, health and safety and customer service. I have seen first hand the positive impact that the team have had on my son, with all the fun activities arranged for him, the great food, friendly and truly caring staff that are with him. I am thankful for the efforts that all the staff put in and the meticulous eye for detail in the general operational running of the nursery. I feel safe and secure when my boy is with the staff here and look forward to more time, more fun and building more good memories with the team. I couldn't recommend this nursery more to those shopping around.

Bright Horizons East Barnet is a fantastic environment for our child. She has a wonderful relationship with all the staff there who all go out of their way to make her feel special and welcome every day. The meals are fantastic too and she is rarely hungry when she gets home.

We have used Bright Horizons nursery for both of our children. The staff have been fantastic with both, and our youngest looks forward to her days there. Thank you for creating a fun, caring, safe environment!

East Barnet Bright Horizons has given my daughter a fantastic foundation with her learning and development, stimulating and encouraging her through so many new activities. The key workers play a pivotal role in preparing the children for life after nursery in so many ways. They will support and help parents with aspects which allows for consistency at both home and the nursery; whether that be toilet training, writing or general activities. The staff really grasp the children’s personalities and identify with them on an individual basis which is important as no two children are the same. My daughter is so happy there and that is all down to the team and management. It is worth flagging they have also continued to follow very strict covid protection procedures which provides endless reassurance for me and my family.

Bright Horizons was the most amazing nursery for my daughter. She was so happy there, and I felt always that she was in safe, capable, nurturing hands. I visited a lot of nurseries when looking for one for my daughter and this was, without doubt, the best one in the area, and I knew it the moment I walked around the building, it has a very warm feeling and the children are obviously happy there. The management is fantastic, especially one manager who was always so lovely, and helpful, she's really great at her job! The systems in place, parent communication and the day to day running of the nursery made me feel confident about how the nursery would care for my child. All the room leaders were amazing, I felt they really knew my daughter and met her needs all the time. All the staff in each of the rooms were lovely, I felt they really cared for my daughter, who often told me how much she loved each and every one of them. We will really miss it!

We considered Bright Horizons to have been a great choice for our daughter even before the pandemic hit but during this difficult time their communication, commitment to the kids and parents and support has been unfaltering. The staff are friendly and helpful and we have been so grateful for all they have done. Truth be told, eventually, kids can settle most places where they have fun and can play - but as first-time parents, the support we've had from baby, through toddler to preschool - discussing issues, supporting development - has all been amazing.

My daughter attended Bright Horizons East Barnet for two years until this September when she started school. We were very pleased with the nursery and all the staff. It was very professionally run and the staff were all lovely. My daughter loved it there and still asks to go back.

I am really happy with the excellent care provided to my son. The staff are wonderful and caring, it puts my mind at ease when I drop him off as I know he is being well looked after. My first child had a great time at Bright Horizons East Barnet for 4 years, so it was a no-brainer to send my second child to Bright Horizons East Barnet.

I have a 3-year-old and a 1-year-old coming to the nursery and I couldn’t be happier with the care and attention they give to my children. They skip in there every morning, are greeted with open arms and are made to feel special and important. I was a bit nervous switching from the homely environment of a childminder to a nursery but my fears have completely gone. The key workers really know their children and are tuned in to their needs, and give me peace of mind while I’m at work. Thank you to the team!

I'm quite impressed by the warm, caring and fun environment at the nursery. Staff are doing a great job on a day-to-day basis. There are lots of activities that keep my son occupied. He really enjoys being there.

I am extremely happy with the care my son has received here. The staff are all excellent and show genuine care for the children. The learning resources are great and varied ensuring my son’s development has flourished and I am sure that this will help to make the transition to primary school much easier when the time comes. To add to that the staff here have worked really hard to ensure that the nursery has been a safe and secure place for the children during the Covid-19 pandemic. I would not hesitate to recommend this nursery to others!

We were very nervous integrating our child into nursery especially as the events of this year have limited social contact substantially. We could not be more delighted with how our daughter has settled into East Barnet. She dances into nursery and skips out, she is always excited to attend and talks lots about her key workers and friends at home. The staff have been incredibly supportive, throughout her settling period and beyond.

Our family are so happy with Bright Horizons East Barnet. Our daughter (now almost 2) has been attending since she was 11 months. From not wanting to attend at first to not wanting to come home, needless to say, she loves it there! My son has now finished attending Bright Horizons East Barnet, after attending there for 3 and a half years. He absolutely loved his time there, established great relationships with other children as well as the staff in each room he was in. My son has developed very well through the learning and support received from the staff at this nursery and I would definitely recommend.

This is an excellent nursery - frankly the best in the area. I'm very lucky to live walking distance from it. The staff are kind and caring, and both my children loved their time there. Their caring and inclusive environment has perfectly prepared them for school.

Our child started her settling in days in August. This was one of the most difficult things to face as a parent. After a few weeks hse became more familiar with the staff and began to enjoy her days at nursery. Everyone was very supportive throughout the whole process. We are very happy with this nursery and would definitely recommend to all parents.

My children have been both attending East Barnet Bright Horizons since each of them turned 10 months old. One is four now, preparing for the transition to reception and the other is almost three years old, preparing for increased independence. Bright Horizons have really helped provide a safe and enriching learning environment for both of my children. I am very happy that I chose East Barnet Bright Horizons for my children. The nursery is a fantastic place and can not do enough for my child or me. Every member of staff is welcoming throughout. My child has come on leaps and bounds throughout the nursery and will 100% ready for school next September. I will be sad when he has to leave as they are all wonderful people and so caring. Highly recommend the nursery to anyone.
