Tynemouth Nursery at Jesmond

The team do a great job, really get to know the children and help them develop in their early years.

Great school, great teachers. Good to see the children get on and all well behaved. Can see the teachers and parents have a good relationship, have seen my grandson come on so well, his talking, his nature and see how happy he is to go into his nursery every day. He always says he’s enjoyed it and how much fun. So happy we picked this nursery he enjoys his food as he is very picky and he eats here as fussy at home, so that is a bonus and would highly recommend it to anyone.

We never thought our child would settle into nursery. To our amazement, she loves it all down to the wonderful staff at the Tynemouth Nursery at Jesmond.

I have used Tynemouth Nursery at Jesmond since September 2018, my son was just 2 years old when he started and within a month his speech and interaction with all the children were brilliant. Staff were brilliant with my son when we started potty training. The meals are fantastic, all homemade good food. Also, there are plenty of activities going on each week and the staff are brilliant.

It is very reassuring to know they are being so well looked after by the wonderful staff they have there.

Over 3 years of using this setting, the staff have been friendly, caring, flexible and open with us. Throughout our time here, our child's learning and growth have been supported and we have come to know everyone really well. It has a family feel and the children are valued as individuals. Extra opportunities such as termly parties and trips out when possible are available too. We are kept up to date through online systems as well as the daily face to face discussions. We moved house and didn't move nursery - that's how much we love it!

This was the first month for my daughter at a nursery. It was a first time experience for us as parents as well as she is our first child. The staff at Tynemouth Nursery were extremely helpful, friendly and cooperative throughout this first month.

They also do wonderful extra activities that cost no more for us parents so huge added value - yoga, little kickers, French lessons, cinema trips - but to mention a few!

This is an amazing nursery. The staff provide a high level of care to all the children. I know that my son is looked after well there.

My son used to come to this nursery and he thoroughly enjoyed it. He was always happy coming home and telling us about his day and how much fun he had. He learnt a lot from attending here. It was lovely to see what he got up to throughout the day by looking on his learning journey. Staff were very informative on pickups an drop-offs. In the future, we will be bringing our new baby which we are more than happy to do.

Tynemouth Nursery in Jesmond has a home from home feel and the staff are always very friendly, calm and composed and ready to welcome your child, quite literally, with open arms. They are always attentive to your needs and requests and nothing is too much hassle for them. This made the settling process so much less stressful than I thought it would be and my child is currently thriving. It is great to be able to go to work and know that your child is being cared for and nurtured in such a warm and welcoming environment.

The second I walked into this nursery, I knew this was the place I wanted my child to attend, I didn't even look anywhere else!

The staff were warm and welcoming, gave us a lovely tour of the building and explained the different rooms. We were introduced to the staff who would be looking after my little one and given loads of information.

We were made to feel at ease (As Mummy had a little bit of anxiety about her baby starting nursery all alone!), given a couple of settling in sessions to help me and my child to become familiar with the environment and were reassured for the beginning.

My child has grown in confidence and come on leaps and bounds in her knowledge and physical development from attending Tynemouth Nursery at Jesmond.

The staff are professional, I think the learning book that is shared with the parents is brilliant. I love how when I add something to the learning book, it is acknowledged and valued by my child's keyworker.

I cannot recommend this nursery enough.

We love this nursery. Caring staff. Great toys and outside equipment. The children know their routine. Excellent extra classes eg yoga. Professional approach to additional needs. Quick response to requests eg for extra sessions. Lots of opportunities to involve parents but no pressure. The staff seem to want to stay. The staff know the children really well. Extra trips eg to the cinema when numbers permit. Enthusiasm and drive to ensure the children are happy. Thank you.
