Lovely nursery that has looked after our 2 boys for over 4 years. Amazing staff that really care about the children and look after them like they are their own. Great facilities and extra activities all the time

Staff are very supportive e.g. potty training. They are very patient!

All three of our children have attended Tynemouth Nursery at Jesmond over the last four years and we could not be happier with the care they have received. It is a wonderfully nurturing and homely environment and being a smaller nursery has a real sense of community. The staff are really warm and enthusiastic and all have a lovely relationship with the children. They organise lots of engaging activities for the children including sessions run by outside agencies e.g. football/ tennis/ French and go above and beyond in terms of organising other events e.g. Christmas parties and trips. We have found them to be very flexible and accommodating and they have sensible and pragmatic policies. Our kids have all loved their time here and we feel entirely confident leaving our children in their care.

I visited no fewer than ten nurseries before deciding on Tynemouth Nursery at Jesmond for my baby and this is simply the best nursery in the area. The experienced team of staff are loving, kind and caring and clearly genuinely cares about the children. The management team have been really flexible and accommodating of our work situations and always try to help as much as possible. I’m so pleased I chose this nursery for my little boy and I’m looking forward to watching him flourish there.

The activities are so good and help children develop confidence and autonomy. Our baby boy is now a very confident toddler, loves everyone in the nursery, and it's always happy while there. I must refer that as a vegan, from day one, everything was easy and good, We have never felt any resistance with our dietary requirements, and I'm very happy that my son comes home talking about what he had for lunch. Everything is great and I couldn't be more happy with the staff, the facilities and the nursery in general.

I researched many nurseries in my local area and this is by far the best. My little girl has been attending for six months now and I can't believe how much they have learned in such a short space of time. She now sits through meals using a fork, they have her napping with the other children. She is trying new foods, and her communication skills have improved massively. She has started being vocal and also recognises all the staff in a positive way. Loves her days at nursery and I love the app they have where everything is logged so I can see exactly how her day is going while at work.

The staff always go above and beyond to help the children settle in and feel welcomed and loved at the nursery. The activities they do are so varied day to day and week by week. Both of my children have developed in confidence and have learned so much since going. It is a lovely nursery with such a warm, kind and friendly atmosphere.

We are so happy that our little boy goes to Tynemouth Nursery Jesmond. The staff are all fantastic, so caring to the children and really get to know them so well. From my first visit the nursery felt so homely and a great environment for children with all the activities and the garden. Our little boy has so much fun and has developed so much since starting nursery. We are kept up to date every day with the parent admin app, which we love! We couldn't recommend the nursery highly enough.

We couldn’t recommend Tynemouth Nursery at Jesmond enough, the staff are wonderful and we are so pleased we chose this nursery for our son. From the first morning drop off, we were instantly put at ease and our son loves every minute with the staff and other children. There is such a great range of activities and variety for the children throughout the day and you can keep up with it all on the parent log in too.

My granddaughter absolutely thrives in this nursery in her own little age group! She’s come on leaps and bounds and it’s thanks to the dedication from staff members. The staff are friendly in a way where they are genuinely nice and want to know about “your day”.

I would highly recommend this nursery. My daughter has been here since she was 9 months old and has been extremely happy here from day one. She is always enthusiastic to go on a morning and tells me all about the exciting activities she has been involved in during the day. The children have some great opportunities to take part in such as piano lessons, French, tennis etc. I always feel relaxed while I’m at work as I know she is in great hands! The staff are first class and the care and affection the children are given is second to none. The parent app we have access to is great, we get to know the meals the children have during the day (which are delicious I’m told!) and the amount they have eaten. There are often photos on to show snippets of what they have been up to that day and the weekly round up newsletter gives a fantastic insight into what has been happening that week. Great communication from the nursery and extremely well led and managed.

Our two kids recently started at Tynemouth Jesmond and the staff have been brilliant. Our boy, 21months, now runs up the path and dances in excitement. Our little girl (nearly 4) comes home with new skills most days. Her letter recognition and writing (mostly wiggles but increasingly deliberate) has really come on and she has grown in confidence. Most importantly, they both talk about their room leaders and friends all the time! They loved the pony visit for Christmas and are learning so much about the world they live in. We couldn't be more grateful to the staff for their love and care, especially under complex circumstances.

We recently moved to Newcastle and hence were worried about how our daughter will be settling in the new nursery with new staff etc. but I was really surprised to see her so excited to go back to nursery in the next morning, all thanks to the very warm and welcoming staff who made her comfortable from day one. She is always greeted by a smiling face at the door. I can go to work every day completely satisfied that my child is in the best care! She loves the variety of activities and making friends. At the end of every week, the staff shares a "Highlight of Your Week" email which fills me in on what she's been doing the whole week which I really appreciate. The staff are very friendly and extremely helpful, any questions I have they are always willing to help me. All round, great nursery, I would definitely recommend to other parents.

My daughter is so happy with the nursery, she is speaking English since she started. Also, I think the activities are amazing for her development. I visited so many nurseries before I had a choice, and I think that was the best thing that I did for my family. Because we can work in peace our daughter is in a safe and happy place.

Fantastic nursery. Staff are all lovely and go above and beyond. Our smallest had come home on Friday without his cuddly dog which he sleeps with, I noticed but just decided to leave it until Monday. We received a phone call just after the nursery closed from a staff member who had found the dog and offered to drop it home on her way home. She really went above and beyond and our boy went to sleep happily cuddling his dog.

My daughter has now been attending this nursery for nearly two years. The growth in both her character and learning has improved significantly, and she continues to thrive every day. The staff are all brilliant with her, and I know that she is receiving the best possible start to her education. Both I and her dad enjoy reading and watching the uploads of her development on the website and continue to be impressed with her daily conversations of the things she has been taught. Overall, an excellent nursery, and the dedication and care from the staff is outstanding.

Very friendly nursery with great attention to children’s developmental needs. A wide variety of skills and activities are explored. My daughter loves it, and clearly wishes I could do as much with her at home. The staff are approachable and have helped my daughter to settle back in after an extended period of time away. They have taken great steps to maintain a safe environment during the covid pandemic, and I am grateful to their continued dedication to remaining open, which has been a lifeline for us. A huge thank you to all the staff.

Very good nursery with amazing staff. I have two kids who joined the nursery for around 2-years, and they are still there. My kids always enjoyed going to the nursery, and the staff were always helpful. As a mother, I really like this nursery, and I always recommend it to my friends.

My little boy started Tynemouth Nursery just over 6-months-old. I had concerns about him being so young, but he has settled so well thanks to the dedication of the staff there. They have supported me in breastfeeding, and would regularly update me about how my son was getting on with phone calls during the very early days. The two girls (and previously another one) clearly make the Caterpillar room such a happy place to be as he is always so happy to be handed over in the mornings (and happy when he comes home!). We love seeing everything he gets up to through his learning book. Thank you for all your hard work, especially during this time!

Our first daughter started at this nursery in Feb 2019, and we instantly knew we had made the right choice, the staff are exceptional, we felt confident and reassured every time dropped her there.

We receive excellent verbal and written communication at all times from all the staff that have worked with our daughter. As first-time parents, we were obviously nervous about leaving our child with anyone, but the love and care the staff give to all the children in their care is second to none. Our little girl adores nursery and runs through the door without so much as a backward look at us.

One of the biggest things I noticed was that every member of staff knows the name of seemingly every child in the nursery, despite the children being split across four rooms, it really shows how committed the staff are to the children.

Our girl wouldn't be what she is today without their support and input, and we are exceptionally grateful for that.

Our second daughter starts next month (good luck).
