Greendale Private Day Nursery

My daughter attends Greendale and has done since she was about 10 months old. I couldn’t speak any higher of all the staff and facilities! We have been supported through all the different challenges we face as parents. Staff are welcoming and adore my daughter which makes drop off so much easier! There are lots of activities and support given to achieving milestones. Lots of outside play which my little one loves!

Greendale Nursery is a fantastic place for children to develop. My daughter loves going and comes home always with positive experiences and new learnings. They really care for the children and I have full trust in Greendale. The staff are fantastic and encourage development.

Our little boy started in the baby room at Greendale a few months ago when I returned to work from maternity leave. The staff have been absolutely incredible throughout the entire process. From the first visit we were made to feel so welcome and it really put my mind at ease that he would be cared for well when we couldn't be there. The staff from the management to the room staff are all so friendly, kind and caring, they have really taken the time to get to know our little one and always provide us with a great insight into his day. He has absolutely thrived under their care. My husband and I absolutely adore the staff in his room, and love to see him so happy to go in every day. I cannot recommend Greendale highly enough.

Both of my daughters attend Greendale and they absolutely love it. We trust the staff implicitly and we know that our daughters are well supported and cared for while they are there. I recommend them to all friends who have children!

Fantastic facilities and professionals. My children always feel safe and are well cared for. This is our third through Greendale. The team take a great interest in the children and in all cases form strong bonds with them. The staff have also shown great empathy and care in detailing with varying work routines.

The experience my child and I have had overall with Greendale Day Care has been amazing. It provides a high quality and inclusive service. The staff and management are warm, kind and so approachable about anything. My son has been attending from he was around 7 months and he is now nearly 3 and I have always seen great things.

The staff are excellent, my daughter loves them and looks forward to going in every day. The office staff on the few occasions I’ve had to speak to them are amazing as well. I highly recommend Greendale Nursery.

Excellent care for my son. All the carers are trained to such a high standard. We place a lot of trust in the carers to look after him and they are top class. Always greet him with a smile which is nice.

My daughter has been attending Greendale Private Day Nursery from eleven months old to the present (two-and-a-half years old). She goes in happy with a wave and a smile. The girls are always very welcoming. The app has been a great addition to letting you know what has been happening with your child throughout the day. Very happy leaving my child here as I know she will be well looked after.

I’m devastated to learn today, that the after school provision at Greendale Private Day Nursery will close at the end of the summer. This will mean finding a new provider for my child, who has spent nearly every week of life in the care of the trusted, much loved staff of Greendale. It feels like a death in the family, I can’t imagine life without it. We are still in shock at present. Advice for new parents - Please be aware when choosing this childcare provider that provision for children beyond nursery school age, is no longer available. I wish I had known this from when we registered, because it wouldn’t have been my intention to have to remove my child from Greendale before the age of 11. We will miss you all, thank you for the wonderful care, attention, support and genuine love that you have shown my family.

Both children attend and have done from 2017, with an excellent level of care and service and all times. My boys have enjoyed each room, and the staff have been so brilliant with all of the changes and Covid etc; just the best home-from-home for the boys.

Both my children attend Greendale - we were more than happy to send our second as our first loves it so much. I would say there is a culture of caring and nurturing at Greendale. The staff genuinely love and care about the kids and know their little personalities so well. Both children love going in the mornings and can’t wait to see the staff as well as their friends. The range of activities the kids participate in has really helped their development and social skills. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff, they are always happy to help and often go above and beyond the call of duty! I have no hesitation in recommending Greendale as an excellent daycare setting.

Greendale is the home away from home. My little girl has been attending Greendale since she was 9-months-old and I've never looked back once at my decision to send her. The daily activities, the routines, right down to the food being served reassured me my little one was in capable and safe hands. The staff at Greendale haven't only educated my daughter and given her so much confidence, but as a first-time mum, they have been a shoulder for me to lean on for advice. Since day one all the staff I meet are extremely kind, helpful and have a genuine care for the children. My little girl skips into the nursery and always tells me about what she has learnt that day and having the app available to parents is extremely helpful. The app goes into the detail all parents want to know i.e. did they sleep, did they eat etc and seeing pictures of your little ones having fun warms the heart. Without hesitation, I would recommend Greendale to anyone.

There is an app set up for parents which is very informative and we get to see photos of our daughter and what activities she took part in each day.

Highly recommend Greendale, very educational from day one. My child has attended since 9 months old and is now turning 3. The staff are brilliant, great daily routines and activities - singing, counting, imaginative play, outdoor play, afternoon naps etc, my child loves it all. Food on offer is great too, varied, balanced and healthy, never comes home hungry. Nothing I’ve ever requested has ever been a problem, as said before highly recommended.

Very impressed with all aspects of Greendale Nursery. It's run very well by management staff who are very helpful, especially evident during challenging times through the pandemic. My toddler is a "pandemic baby" and found it difficult meeting new faces. They settled in really well at Greendale in a short space of time. They take part in so many varied activities to help their development and get creative. My toddler is very happy going to Greendale.

Greendale is a fantastic nursery, when my two children get excited to attend every morning I feel so at ease going off to work. Their facilities are fantastic, there is a range of different parks for all levels and spacious rooms which drew me to selecting them as my childcare provider. The staff are amazing and take a lot of interest in my children, it honestly feels like a home from home and I can’t thank them enough for how they have helped my two children develop.

Our little one has only had us to look after him which made us a bit anxious about leaving him with the nursery staff. The first few days settling in were torture for us as he cried and didn't enjoy being left there. The staff did all they could and after a couple of days he was calming down. Then out of nowhere when we got to his room in the nursery he held his arms out to go to the girls and had a snack, lunch and also had a long nap there! This was the most amazing thing as he has trouble sleeping. The staff did their magic and have obviously made a connection with him. We have one more day of settling in then it's onto his proper full days. We are more than happy to leave him there after seeing him enjoy his stays. Highly recommend this place because of the staff. Always keeping us up to date with calls about how he was getting on. Also had a wee farm day which the children could go and pet animals which he was able to attend even though it wasn't one of his days.

Very happy with the nursery! We find the staff very friendly and caring towards the children! Great range of activities offered and we love to see the development and learning advances that the nursery gives our child! Our child loves going!
