Wee Gems - Livingston

I was so nervous to send my daughter to nursery. The staff were great at answering all my questions and making me feel as at ease about it, as I could be. They give me helpful updates as to how she is doing, which put me more at ease. My daughter absolutely loves nursery now and runs to the door. You can tell the staff have a great relationship with her and she loves them too. I also love the app - it’s fantastic.

Our Daughter has been attending Wee Gems - Livingston since she was 1 year old. She has been in the babies room, 1-2’s room and is currently in the 2-3’s room. She loves nursery and it has been great to see our Daughter develop her skills so much, which Wee Gems has been a great contributor. Children are involved in so many activities on a daily basis and the staff are always so welcoming and have a lovely relationship with our Daughter. They post online observations of your child via a secure system which is lovely to receive, especially when you are at work. The meals and drinks provided are a good varied diet and is freshly made by the nursery chef; our Daughter always asks for more because it is so tasty! The opening hours are also accommodating for working parent(s).

My son started at Wee Gems at 6 months and was initially in full time due to our childminder being unavailable over summer. I was worried about putting him in so young and for 5 days a week but any concerns I had were out of the window within days! My son absolutely loves going to nursery, he giggles as we walk up the path and he is so happy to see the staff each morning. When I pick him up he is always happy and contended. The staff at Wee Gems are absolutely fantastic - caring, informative and clearly passionate about children. They have been really accomodating when we asked to change his attendance days and we are always kept up to date with our son's daily activities via the parent website. The staff go above and beyond to help - I would thoroughly recommend this nursery.

My son has been in the baby room and the 1-2 room and will be going up to the 2-3 room which I was very nervous about but the staff have been taking him up throughout his days in nursery to help him adjust which he has loved anyway. I cannot thank the nursery enough. I feel that my son is in a happy and safe place.

Our daughter has been going to Wee Gems since she was 11 months old. The hours are perfect for accommodating full time working parents. The nursery is located within walking distance to the train station making it very handy for dropping off and picking up if travelling into Edinburgh/Glasgow for work. Staff have always been very approachable and helpful. Most importantly our daughter enjoys going to Wee Gems.

My little boy has been attending Wee Gems since he was 11 months old and he loves it. The staff are fantastic with him; he’s a stubborn and demanding little lad who requires lots of cuddles and everyone is always patient with him. I’m also grateful for all the teaching and encouragement they give him, as a working mum it is a relief to know that he is being so well looked after. The food is always healthy and great tasting (he usually has extra!), the nursery is very clean and the facilities are excellent. I’m so glad we chose Wee Gems and would definitely recommend it.

My daughter has been attending since she was 7 months old and loves it. The staff really take the time to get to know the children as individuals and the opening/closing times are great for working parents.

My daughter has been attending Wee Gems since she was 11 months old and has settled in really well which is due to the lovely staff who welcome her with a big smile every day and she has lots of fun there. They do so many varied activities every day, her development has come on leaps and bounds. It can be daunting leaving your child in another’s care but I feel comfortable doing so knowing that Wee Gems take such good care of my little girl. I also appreciate the flexibility the nursery offers as they are happy to accommodate changes in line with my husband’s shift pattern. I would highly recommend.

Fantastic nursery. My little girl loves going and the staff are great. They are good at keeping parents up to date with everything. Would definitely recommend!

Amazing nursery. My son has been going since he was 11 months old and has been in every room so far (babies, 1/2, 2/3). The staff are so friendly and helpful, and the manager is always available if we have any questions. I am quite anxious leaving my son but they always reassure me and he loves it there. They are so encouraging and the children always seem happy. They make leaving him in a nursery easier for me. Update the app with his daily activities and developments/photos so I don't feel like I am missing out on his day.

Our child absolutely loves the nursery and, as a teacher, am more than happy sending him in for the day. Great activities and learning opportunities and again, such personal care given by the staff throughout the nursery.

Looking forward to my youngest starting the baby room soon.

I couldn’t recommend Wee Gems Livingston enough. The staff are amazing With my children and us as parents. My children are happy to go to the staff and they are comfortable at the nursery. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful to us as parents with feedback and updates on the kids day. The kids are also coming home with hand made cards and gifts that they make which I love. The kind of keepsakes you want to keep and display. I know the staff have the children’s best interests at heart and it’s evident in the relationships my children have with the staff, the food and nutrition they get and the different activities and experiences they have. I highly recommend Wee Gems Livingston.

My daughter attends this nursery for one morning session a week and she has a fantastic relationship with all of the staff. They make so much effort with my little girl even though she's only in for a short period. I would totally recommend this nursery to anyone who is looking for full or part time childcare.

My son has been attending Wee Gems Livingston since he was 6months old. He is now in the 1-2s room and he runs in every morning without even a second glance at me never mind a goodbye! He loves the wide range of activities they get up to each day and he has become close with the staff. The staff are all lovely and will keep you updated on your child’s day and development. My sons developing quickly and it’s down to him attending Wee Gems!

My son loves Wee Gems and goes in happily every day he is there which is the sign of a happy nursery. The staff are excellent and very caring with lots of activities every day outside and inside. The nursery make good use of their garden and the surrounding library and shops. The manager is very approachable. The food is cooked in the nursery and is excellent. Great range of activities every day!

My son absolutely loves his time at Wee Gems! The staff have made it so easy for him to settle in and enjoy every day he is there.

My son has attended Wee Gems - Livingston, since June 2017 and since then his development has skyrocketed. The staff are amazing and attentive and each one always receives a huge smile from him on arrival. He is content there and never cries when I go to leave which as a mother proves to me how safe he feels and how much fun he has there. Every member of staff is kind friendly and approachable Never had any issues and would recommend to anyone seeking childcare!

The staff at Wee Gems - Livingston are brilliant. Always friendly and welcoming, they take a genuine interest in the children in their care and will go above and beyond to make sure the children feel at home. Our daughter has formed some lovely bonds with her key worker and many other members of staff. There's always a great range of activities each day tailored to the age of the child and their interests and abilities. It's lovely hearing what our daughter's been up to when I collect her. Our daughter loves Wee Gems, she settled in so quickly and I know that's down to the fantastic staff and happy environment she's in. Keep up the great work Wee Gems.

My son has attended this nursery for nearly two years and has come on so much in this time. His confidence has grown and his independence, which will benefit him when he is ready for school. He always talks about nursery with enthusiasm and I enjoy looking at his observations to keep up to date with is learning. The staff are all very caring and I know my son feels very comfortable in their care. I think the standard of learning is excellent as my son has developed so much during his time here and the staff always give detailed feedback on what he has been doing that day. Lovely nursery.
