My son has been attending the nursery since he was 18 months old. Most days he is happy to go and see all the staff and his friends with the occasional day he is unsettled. I have to say all the staff are very good at reassuring my son and comforting him. Allowing me to head off to work knowing that he is happy and being cared for in the highest standard.
My 2.5 yr old son now attends the nursery too, and has done since he was 13 mths old. He can be quite clingy at drop off time, but the girls always take time to reassure him, and make sure he settles well.
All of the staff are totally approachable, and I consider them as friends, who I trust implicitly.
Both my children attend wee gems in Livingston and are both very happy. The staff are always very friendly.
They have great facilities and make learning fun. The communication from the staff is great. They keep up up to date with their learning and development.
My little girl has only been at this nursery since last summer, but I have to say the ladies have made her feel really welcome in the 1-2s room. At the start she didn't want to leave me she always cries but the girls let her take her panda which made going to nursery a lot easier for her. Now she goes to nursery no problem, is all excited to see me when I come pick her up. She even sings nursery rhymes that's she learnt at nursery and gets all excited when she gets its right. Honestly I can't thank wee gems nursery enough for how well my little girl is getting on now. Her speaking has come on so much, she says please and thank you more which is great. When she is in nursery I know she is safe and getting well looked after. Also I have to say the food must be lovely as my daughter always seems to want to have extra which is a great thing as sometimes she could be picky with what she ate. Hope to continue to used wee gems nursery in the future.
Both my children love Wee Gems Livingston and enjoy going in each day. The learning in pre-school is excellent and I'm always informed about the learning that week which means we can continue it at home. I have seen my youngest come on leaps and bounds since starting Wee Gems Livingston. The staff interaction is brilliant and both my children have great relationships with staff members

My name is Jolene and I have 19 + years of experience in the early years sector. Over the years I have worked across several settings in different roles while completing a degree in childhood practice.
