Chuckles Nursery

Lovely nursery. Staff helped my child settle in well, he will not want to leave in July. Good opportunity for child to try new foods. Great range of activities. Parents are invited to the nursery to work with the child. Would be great if the nursery could put 'get ready for school activities' such as learning sounds and letters. Overall my child is so happy here which makes mum guilt feel easier.

My son loves attending Chuckles and has a great time every day he’s there. Gutted we’re going up to school in September as the staff have been great. My son’s communication and social skills have come on loads at Chuckles. The staff at Chuckles are always professional and friendly and do great work with the children. They have fantastic attitudes towards the children and I have always found them warm and welcoming; they have always answered any queries I have had and are supportive and helpful if I ever have any concerns about my child. I 100% recommend them to other parents! They are very deserving of every award they get!

Chuckles have been an amazing nursery and has supported my daughter from only a couple of months old. I can happily say that my daughter had never once said that she did not want to go and I think that holds testimony as to how well the nursery do taking care of the children. They have always been very well-communicative and have been very encouraging with child and parent participation. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Chuckles has been an outstanding childcare provider for both my sons. The staff are so attentive, always available to talk to and respond with any queries and concerns promptly. They make Chuckles such an enjoyable place of learning for the children, my son absolutely loves his days in nursery and is always excited to attend. They have made transitions between age groups seamless by tailoring the process and timing to what would be best for my son. There's nowhere else I would have wanted my son to attend and feeling very sad at the prospect of him leaving such a safe and enjoyable environment to start his journey through school.

My son has been attending Chuckles since he was 21 months old and has gone right through to the pre-school and doing his education hours and I can't recommend them enough. My son has enjoyed every second of his time at Chuckles and I've never had an issue with him wanting to go. He learned so much there and I've been so impressed with his learning progression especially how much Welsh he has learned. He is now preparing to go to primary school and Chuckles has been so supportive with the transition and getting him ready to go. I also love how much outdoor space and outdoor play the children have which I think is just as important for learning. My daughter now attends and I'll be keeping her there for preschool also. You won't get a nursery better than Chuckles!

I honestly would recommend Chuckles to everyone. The staff is absolutely amazing. My daughter was born in 2020 through the pandemic and was shy and needed to come out of her shell. I am truly grateful to all the staff (Aunties). I'm so glad my daughter got to be part of the Chuckles family without a doubt Chuckles is the best nursery setting. Chuckles has been the best setting to get my daughter ready for school in September.

My son has been there since he was 9 months the girls have always been welcoming and amazing through every stage. However, I want to give a special nod to the Conquerors Team. After losing my daughter in September I cannot thank them enough for just being them and looking after my son and being his normality in the difficult time we faced as a family. Also allowing him to do a full day of childcare there while we attended the funeral I knew he was in the best care and he could just enjoy his day being a normal child. I talk highly about chuckles and always recommend you all as a nursery. If we were ever lucky enough to have another child I would be straight in contact to have them put on the waiting list as there is nowhere else I would rather my children attend. Thank you for everything these last few years.

Been using Chuckles for the last 2 years and have nothing negative to say! Great nursery, with excellent caring staff, is good at updating parents, is flexible where possible, has lots of activities and outdoor play, etc. Especially love the learning observations on family and the many pictures they used to put for the younger classes. Would be amazing to have them for preschool too but understand they’re too busy running after the kids to be taking pictures lol. Have referred a few friends who were looking for nurseries to Chuckles and they too have had good experiences. The best part about Chuckles which I didn’t realize when joining is they accept the gov 30 hours childcare scheme which means we initially were paying fully privately and then when 3yrs, we got some of the nursery fees funded. So unlike so many other people, we could just stay at Chuckles rather than scrambling around trying to find a new nursery for the final year - made it so much easier for both parents and children!

My little boy has attended Chuckles since the age of 5 months, he is still now attending approaching his 4th birthday. He always comes home with extended vocabulary, new interests, and funny stories to tell. Being a COVID baby/only child he can be a right character and the staff at Chuckles has been spot on with discipline while nurturing him throughout his time there. At home, he often uses Welsh words/phrases he has picked up in nursery as well as skills like scraping off his plate after dinner and counting to 20! Alongside all of that, he has made a lovely group of friends! The staff are always extremely welcoming and informative which makes leaving my child 30 hours a week much easier!

He enjoys everything from the activities, outside play, all the aunties and mealtimes he loves too. Couldn't ask for a better place for him to attend than Chuckles!

I really recommend Chuckles Nursery to anyone who asks! My daughter started when she was 1 year old right up until she left for school at 4 years old and her all over development came on a long way and I thank all the girls at Chuckles for their support towards this! At first, she was a very timid little girl who cried to leave my side but left running herself in and I struggled to get her to leave I think that speaks volumes in itself! The staff in each group are so attentive to each child’s needs and take time to sit with the children allowing them to learn how they feel comfortable. I also like the approach that they have different stations in each class to let the children free play so it’s not overly structured for such young children which is very beneficial. They also have such a lovely outdoor space. My daughter loved all her nursery aunties and made so many friends. Looking forward to my son joining them in the new year. Thank you so much Chuckles great job!

My son attended Chuckles at Babies and Younger Toddlers and then returned again and Preschool and I would recommend this nursery to everyone! He had such an amazing time and journey, while in babies he had 3 of his limbs in full casts and they still let him join in all the fun and games and made adjustments to help. He would not eat anything when he first started, although by the time he left, he was eating and trying everything. The change is unbelievable! All the aunties are really supportive and I always felt safe leaving my child with them. The nursery itself is always changing and has different topics every few months to always engage the children. My son would not be the boy he is today without his Aunties guiding him on his journey.

Fantastic nursery, wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone. My child wasn’t very social and wasn’t good with other children/adults, but came on leaps and bounds during his time here! He was delayed in his speech, but bringing him here has helped massively and the support the ‘aunties’ gave is fabulous. Keep up the good work you do.

She thrived there with staff and other children, becoming a confident, sassy little girl. I never had any problems with her going and I always felt confident I was leaving her in a safe and happy environment. The staff are fabulous and they build amazing relationships with the children they take care of. Forever grateful my little girl's journey began at Chuckles Nursery. Highly recommend.

Chuckles is our first and only nursery experience. Everything about Chuckles is amazing. The staff are brilliant – they are so lovely, friendly and hardworking and each worker that our daughter has interacted with she loves. Along with the managing staff, none of them could do anymore for me and our little family. They are great at providing us updates either on the app or by messages. It just makes you feel better and more at ease knowing who you are leaving your child with and knowing that you can trust them. The app is fab too! You get regular updates throughout the day including photos of your child playing. This insight is lovely to know as you can see what they are doing which gives you more peace of mind. The activities that the children partake in and their different food options are endless. The menu choices are on a rota, so every week is different. The grounds are great too - particularly their outdoor learning space. I would definitely recommend Chuckles as your child's nursery!
