Acorns Duffryn in Newport is the perfect place for a child to learn, make friends and have a lot of fun.

Children are encouraged to learn by exploring their surroundings and immersing themselves in inventive play. The nursery provides a fun, homely environment with sensory equipment, books, trikes, a Forest School and a whole variety of other lively activities.

Staff at the nursery work to offer the same high standard of care that they would want for their own children.

Situated minutes away from the M4, the nursery is based in a picturesque Georgian building surrounded by beautiful gardens.

Children aged from one-month-old to five-years-old are welcome to join the nursery which is open Monday to Friday.

My daughter attends Acorns Duffryn for full days twice a week. She seems very settled already after only a few weeks and I feel that is is strongly down to the staff at Acorns. Having only met a handful of them, I am confident that the care my daughter is having is of a top standard, ensuring everything
she does through the day is documented, safe and having a positive effect for her learning and development.
Staff ensure to update us after each full day, ensuring any concerns are voiced to us. I feel confident that my daughter is in safe hands whilst left at Acorns and feel very happy with the care she has been given so far.

I was nervous about our little boy starting nursery but I can honestly say the staff have been incredible. The feedback provided at the end of every day is great and you start to realise how many things they do with the kids. Our boy absolutely loves it (and the food which I wish they offered to the
parents it's that good!). This is exactly how a nursery should be run..it's immaculately clean, the staff love working with the children and the attention to detail puts my mind at ease. Thank you for making the introduction to nursery life so easy.

Acorns Nursery are fabulous! My son enjoys the time he is in the nursery. As a parent, we can see he is learning as well. The staff in the nursery is fantastic and I always find them helpful. I love the morning song he sings in English and Welsh.

My child enjoys nursery and I think that is a testament to the staff and the facilities. The staff are good at communicating issues with my child and telling me about each day. It would be useful if they were better at posting photographs and updates online about my child's progress but I accept there

My son goes to Acorns in Duffryn and we are super happy with the care he gets there! We love the activities they do with him and it's great to see how happy he is with them. All the staff are really caring, and our son even talks about them when he's not there. It's great to know he's in safe hands

We have been highly impressed by the level of care all of the staff have given our little one since starting at Acorns almost 2 years ago. He is always greeted with a happy smile and ‘Bore da!’ each and every morning and walks in full of smiles and excitement for the day ahead. I drop him off knowing
he’s in safe, caring, and loving hands. He loves all the lovely ladies that work with him throughout the day and is also a massive fan of the food provided. We are kept up to with his progress and achievements via the app and are given a detailed review of his day each evening. He always leaves nursery full of smiles but exhausted from a day jam-packed with lots of lovely activities with his friends. The nursery has excellent facilities both inside and out, and our little one especially loves the garden areas. We are beyond pleased with all aspects of Acorns Duffryn and would recommend it to everyone.

My daughter has been with acorns the past 2 years and I have found that is was the right thing I have done. I wouldn't have it any other way her going to another nursery as she enjoys the nursery so much, and when she comes home and talks about her friends and the lovely ladies who look after her half
the time she doesn't want to come home. The range of activities and food that is offered is outstanding, I just love the care that is given to her.

We loved our time at Acorns Duffryn so much. The building looks like a comfortable home and not a nursery setting full of screaming children and plastic noisy toys. The staff are wonderful and caring; even those who didn't see my son every day knew his name. Everyone was always welcoming and had lots
of information for me at the end of the day. The meals were outstanding, and it was such a comfort to know my son was eating well. The gardens and outdoor activities are wonderful.

With my daughter attending here a few years back, it was a no brainer that we would return to them for the care of her little brother!
Yet again our service and experience has been second to none! He is content, happy and thriving in all areas of development. He is cared for by an extremely caring
and knowledgable team and I love all the pieces of art and craft he comes home with along with his development updates through the app. As a deputy manager of a private nursery myself I'm a proud parent to say where my son attends and you'll always be the best decision I made for both children with regards to taking their first steps in life and learning!

I am so pleased that I chose Acorns Duffryn as the nursery for my daughter, the staff are fantastic, very thorough, friendly and all clearly love their job and the children they care for.
The nursery is always spotless, beautiful toys, lovely areas for each group plus an amazing garden. The menus
consistently looks delicious and my daughter always eats all her food. There is an excellent variety of activities for the children and I always look forward to the artwork.
My daughter has a lovely attachment to the staff and she is always happy when I pick her up, I know she has had a really good day and feel happy that she is safe and secure in the care of Acorns Duffryn and all their staff.
