Acorns Duffryn

This nursery goes above and beyond for all of their children attending there. From their kind attitudes all the way down to the personal chef and the cleanliness of the place it is definitely a 5* nursery which deserves a 5* review! Nothing is ever to much trouble. My daughter is very specific in her ways and they always ensure she is accommodated in every way. Thanks so much, everyone at Acorns Duffryn! Bring on the next year until she goes to school!

My 18-month-old has been at Acorns Duffryn for 9 months. He attends 2 days a week and loves it. The staff do a range of activities indoors and outdoors and the girls are amazing. You can see they genuinely care about the children and enjoy their roles. They have a great range of tasty meals and snacks. My son has come on so well and I'm always informed about his day. I couldn’t recommend highly enough.

This nursery is fabulous, I feel totally at ease leaving my daughter here. She loves the nursery and adores the staff. Both my children have attended Acorns and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend here.

The nursery itself is lovely and the garden is spacious which will be great for playing outside in the summer months. The Christmas evening was great with a lovely grotto with Santa which was well decorated and festive. I cannot recommend this nursery highly enough. My daughter seems a lot happier here and is worn out after a day at nursery. There isn’t a thing I am unhappy with, excellent nursery.

This nursery has been absolutely fantastic. I was so worried about sending my first child to a good nursery but as soon as I came to see Acorns I knew it was perfect for him and I felt so much better about the whole situation. I loved that you could come and look around at any time, no appointment needed and everything was so clean. The staff are amazing with the children and there is plenty of staff around. I was so happy that when it was my second child’s turn I had no stress or worries and was actually excited for him to experience nursery life! There is a fab level of contact and communication from the nursery and I love that they send weekly emails with pictures and updates of how your child is getting on. I was so sad when the time came for them to start school! Couldn’t recommend this nursery enough!

I cannot speak highly enough of this nursery and the staff. From day one my children have had the greatest care, and I have been put at such ease leaving them there. For a parent that has their children in this nursery only one day a week, I cannot believe the amount they learn, achieve and feel so welcome. The staff make sure all their needs are met, including helping out sort food for a fussy eater. My eldest child is graduating this year and I can honestly say I'm going to be heartbroken when she leaves. I might have more children to keep my connection with Duffryn.

I would highly recommend Acorns Duffryn to any potential parents. The staff are always helpful and friendly and willing to help and answer any questions. They always update me on my son's day and the activities they've been doing. The homelinks are excellent and he is doing nicely with home and nursery. In particular, now my son has moved up to Butterflies he's settled in so well thanks to the help and patience of the staff.

My daughter loves her time in nursery. I am always amazed at the things she learns and the variety of activities she takes part in. I have never had reason to question her care or experience at this nursery and am so thankful that she has received such excellent education and attention.

When I am in work I miss my boys but it is made so much easier when I can trust where they are and who is looking after them.

We are extremely happy with the service provided by the nursery. Our daughter is happy, confident and excited coming to nursery, which gives us the reassurance we need to know that she is happy when we leave her. The staff are kind, supportive and helpful. We couldn't ask for more from a nursery.

Fantastic nursery. All three of my children come to Acorns and I highly recommend. The staff are lovely and they love the nursery.

This is the second nursery my daughter has attended as I was unhappy with the standard of care at her previous nursery.

At Acorns my daughter's day is well structured and well planned/thought out. She experiences a wide range of personalities from the staff and is given a high level of care. The staff never fail to keep me fully informed of every detail of the day and my daughter thrives from the positive and comforting environment created there.

My little one has been going to Acorns for 5 months and is very happy and settled there. The staff ensure that she is settled and communication is always open and each member of staff are approachable.

The activities she participates in are appropriate to her age and ability and I find the staff are engaging and enthusiastic with all aspects of her care. She comes home regularly with artwork and there are parents evenings available to see her progress.

I have never encountered a problem, but when something arises that needs discussion it is done in a personal manner and nothing is ever too much for them, they go above and beyond in their level of care.

I am very happy leaving my little one in their care - it is like leaving with them with family.

My daughter enjoys going to nursery and is happy when I drop her off and pick her up. She talks very highly of staff and comes home with a variety of artwork every week.

This is due to the outstanding dedication and effort put in by all staff at Acorns Duffryn where key workers cater for all needs and expectations. I know my son is in the best hands and I cannot recommend Acorns Duffryn enough.

All activities seem suitable for the age and stage of every child. I feel my daughter has come on well in development for her age.

Very friendly and helpful staff. They give feedback about your child's day every day. Lots of different activities during the day and time child spends in different rooms. Also outdoor activities during summer. They do lots of arts and crafts. They also take photos of the child doing the artwork and paste it behind the artwork before sending it home.
