Acorns Duffryn

Acorns have been absolutely incredible! My son has been going there for 2 years now and he has learnt so much. The staff are fantastic and always happy to help. My youngest will be starting soon as we can’t imagine sending him anywhere else. Thank you to all the staff for giving us the best nursery experience.

We have been highly impressed by the level of care all of the staff have given our little one since starting at Acorns almost 2 years ago. He is always greeted with a happy smile and ‘Bore da!’ each and every morning and walks in full of smiles and excitement for the day ahead. I drop him off knowing he’s in safe, caring, and loving hands. He loves all the lovely ladies that work with him throughout the day and is also a massive fan of the food provided. We are kept up to with his progress and achievements via the app and are given a detailed review of his day each evening. He always leaves nursery full of smiles but exhausted from a day jam-packed with lots of lovely activities with his friends. The nursery has excellent facilities both inside and out, and our little one especially loves the garden areas. We are beyond pleased with all aspects of Acorns Duffryn and would recommend it to everyone.

My daughter has been with acorns the past 2 years and I have found that is was the right thing I have done. I wouldn't have it any other way her going to another nursery as she enjoys the nursery so much, and when she comes home and talks about her friends and the lovely ladies who look after her half the time she doesn't want to come home. The range of activities and food that is offered is outstanding, I just love the care that is given to her.

My daughter absolutely adores this nursery, from the moment she came for a settling in session I instantly became relaxed at the positive energy that surrounded her. She has been taught a great deal and loves the staff along with her friends in the nursery. I am so grateful to the care she is provided while I work and feel totally comfortable with bringing my next child to Acorns Duffryn, great nursery.

My granddaughter has attended Acorns for over 12 months and she has learnt so much. She so enjoys going, never any worries. The food is very good and nutritional. The staff are amazing, always welcoming to the children and very friendly and approachable. I would recommend Acorns to everyone who wants their little ones to be cared for, happy and learning.

We loved our time at Acorns Duffryn so much. The building looks like a comfortable home and not a nursery setting full of screaming children and plastic noisy toys. The staff are wonderful and caring; even those who didn't see my son every day knew his name. Everyone was always welcoming and had lots of information for me at the end of the day. The meals were outstanding, and it was such a comfort to know my son was eating well. The gardens and outdoor activities are wonderful.

My daughter has attended Acorns Duffryn for the last 2 years and I could not ask for a better nursery. All the staff are amazing - the support and care they provide is second to none. I cannot thank all the staff enough for being my daughter’s home away from home.

The staff at Acorns Duffryn are extremely helpful. They go out of their way to help you with anything, 2 of my grandchildren went to Duffryn and they really enjoy their time at the nursery. Very welcoming staff and a lovely environment for the children.

Yet again our service and experience has been second to none! He is content, happy and thriving in all areas of development. He is cared for by an extremely caring and knowledgable team and I love all the pieces of art and craft he comes home with along with his development updates through the app. As a deputy manager of a private nursery myself I'm a proud parent to say where my son attends and you'll always be the best decision I made for both children with regards to taking their first steps in life and learning!

My daughter has a lovely attachment to the staff and she is always happy when I pick her up, I know she has had a really good day and feel happy that she is safe and secure in the care of Acorns Duffryn and all their staff.

He even loves the food and is always really excited for ‘Nursery breakfast’ on our drive over in the morning.

My little one took a few weeks to settle in but everyone was so patient and kind with her and now most days she will go walking in happily on her own accord. Everyone is always willing to give her a cuddle or some extra time if she needs it. It has definitely become her home away from home. Thank you to all the staff that work so hard and care so well for all the children. We think that you are all amazing.

My son has developed so well at Acorns. The team are friendly and welcoming every day. My son absolutely loves coming here and we will all be sad when the day comes when he has to leave to start school.

The best nursery there is around. Treats your child like their own, the food is amazing and healthy and I’m always satisfied she’s being fed correctly. My granddaughter learns loads at this nursery.

I can’t imagine our son going anywhere else. He has been going to Acorns since he was 9 months old and he will leave this summer to go to school. All the staff have made us feel part of their family and they genuinely care about the children and parents. The staff are long-standing and well trained, hygiene faultless, the atmosphere calm but fun, great facilities, great communication, nutritious food all make in house, lovely activities and outside space. When our son graduates this year I will be crying with pride for him but also for myself as going there every day and chatting to the team there, knowing they care and are genuinely interested in the children in their care, has been one of the highlights of my day. Going to work and leaving your child in the care of others is always a difficult decision, but you can be certain at Acorns that they’ll find a second home.

My son absolutely loves this nursery and so do I. The safety here for the children is spot on, they inform you of everything that happens within your child’s day and even show you on an app. I would recommend this nursery to everyone, trust is a huge thing when it comes to your own children but I trust this nursery 100% with the safety of my child, which says a lot I think! The staff are lovely, the security of the whole building is great and the children have so much fun. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. It’s clean, they have so much room for the children especially in the garden and they learn so much.

Acorns is such a wonderful nursery. The facilities are great, it's always so clean and the food is fantastic but more than anything, it's the staff that make this place such a treasure. They genuinely care for my daughter and her face lights up every day that she goes in, she has an absolute ball there and I have never once felt worried or concerned. She is always so full of energy and excitement when she gets home, she chatters away non stop about her friends and what she's been up to, I would recommend this nursery to anyone.

Brilliant nursery, the quality of care is outstanding and my child loves attending the nursery. The activities set out for the children have a lot of thought put into them. Acorns Duffryn is such a clean nursery, the rooms are always tidy and always smelling fresh. The staff are all so kind and easy to talk to. Definitely recommended.

Our little boy has been at Acorns since he was 5 months old and we have been totally impressed the whole time so far! When looking at nurseries in the area, it instantly felt right; the caring, calm, atmosphere and kind, cheerful staff standing out the most. My little boy always enjoys his time at nursery and I am always fully confident that he is in safe and loving hands. All of the team are delightful to speak to and go out of their way to ensure all the little ones and parents are happy. Cannot recommend Acorns Duffryn enough!
