Acorns House (Park Grove, Cardiff City Centre)

An excellent nursery where our son has flourished since he joined almost 3 years ago. Staff are the most friendliest and caring people, you know your child is in safe hands. The opportunities the children have every day to learn, play and develop are incredible. We love having regular notifications of what our son has achieved that day through the app. We know it will be a sad day when it’s time to leave nursery for full time school this September.

Exceptional nursery run by a highly skilled manager with attentive, kind, and caring nursery workers, cleaners, and chefs. We can’t recommend the nursery highly enough! Our son has attended Acorns for the last 3 years and our daughter has recently joined. Both of our children consider Acorns to be a second home and are excited to go into nursery on their nursery days. Thank you Acorns House - we don’t know what we would do without you!

My child joined towards the end of last year and every nursery nurse we have met and who looks after her has been fantastic. She often comes home talking about each of them and we never have any fuss dropping her off - she can’t wait to go in and see her friends. Lovely clean nursery with friendly staff - great location.

Acorns was easily the first choice for my children and it has not disappointed. The staff are wonderful - friendly, knowledgeable, attentive, warm, and just brilliant with my three-year-old twins. The nursery itself is lovely, a beautiful setting with big rooms and lovely gardens. My kids have blossomed with input from nursery staff and the socialisation is invaluable. The Acorns approach is professional but welcoming. My kids love it there and that means a lot to me. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Acorns!

I moved both my boys to Acorns from a different nursery and wish I had done it earlier, the older one was 3, and the younger 1 when they started, just the younger boy remains. They both love Acorns and the staff there, always coming home and telling me what they had been up to that day and showing me the pictures or food they had made, and speaking of the friends played with. The staff couldn't be more helpful, the manager knows each child and their parents by name and makes this such a welcoming and personal approach. I couldn't be happier with the way my children have been cared for and recommend Acorns to anyone who will listen.

Absolutely wonderful experience. Lovely staff. My child goes in a couple of days a week and is always looking forward to these 2 days. He does not even look back to wave goodbye when we drop him in the morning. I would recommend this nursery to all my friends.

My son is two and a half and has been at Acorns House (Park Grove, Cardiff City Centre) since he was eight months old and it is like a second home to him. I have been so, so impressed with them, not only in the way they look after the children but for what they teach and how they really get to know each and every child. His speech and social skills are a reflection of how well they teach the kids to play and learn there and I am forever grateful for the things they do with the children on a day to day basis. This past year they have been a Godsend with Covid-19 and how they have gone about looking after and protecting the kids has been amazing. We chose Acorns House (Park Grove, Cardiff City Centre) for our son as we’d heard fantastic reviews from friends and as soon as I visited the nursery I knew it would be the right environment for him to develop and grow as a toddler. The staff are ten steps ahead at all times and I have complete faith in their knowledge and capabilities. Their warm welcome each morning is a delight and my son never wants to leave at pick-up, what a great sign! I can’t thank them enough for all they do for us as a family.

Absolutely love sending my little girl to Acorns House in Park Grove, she always comes out with the best smile and telling us how much fun she has had there, also the activities that they do! As for the staff they are so amazing and they are so welcoming each and every day, we as parents are so thankful for them with our little girl!

My daughter loves going to the nursery and they do all sorts of things that are both fun and educational. The staff know my daughter so well, down to every little thing, which really puts our mind at ease. She loves her nursery teachers and always looks forward to going. Keep up the good work.

Our youngest daughter attended this nursery between the ages of one to three and we were really happy with the care she received. Staff always made a fuss of her on arrival, provided a wide range of activities and really cared about her. She loved going in every day right up until she left to start school. We were also delighted with the care and attention they gave our eldest daughter last summer while her school was closed, making her incredibly welcome. They even involved her in the graduation ceremony despite her being there for just the summer. Thanks from my wife and I to all the staff for everything they did for the our girls!

I would recommend this nursery over and over again. They take the best care of our precious son and have done so much towards his development over the years. He loves going here and all the staff are so caring. Special mention to one member of staff who has been such a big part of our sons life and who he absolutely adores. Thank you all.

The manager welcomed me with a warmth that set me at ease immediately. The selling point for me was the way the children reacted to the manager and the key workers, with excitement and hugs. In my view children don’t lie and so seeing this was the best review I could have ever received. The guidance and support we have had from Acorns House (Park Grove, Cardiff City Centre) has been outstanding. My daughter not only loved her time there but development wise, I would see her taking huge strides each week. For anyone worried about handing their most precious thing over, you can’t go wrong with Acorns House (Park Grove, Cardiff City Centre), they’re incredible.

My child has developed so well both cognitively and emotionally since being at Acorns. All of the nurses are so attentive, caring and amazing with children, my daughter loves them all. There are regular activities where my child can practice and learn skills. The same routine is followed each day with different activities each day which is great for the children’s sense of stability. I also really enjoy the monthly emails which get sent to all parents with the activities for the month as well as the menu which is really useful to see what the children are doing and eating. Overall this is a fantastic nursery, with a fantastic staff and ethos!

We are very happy that we chose Acorns. It has lived up to our expectations and the attention to detail is incredible. The staff are fantastic and our daughter loves going to nursery - she even asked to go on the weekend!
