Acorns House (Park Grove, Cardiff City Centre)

We joined Acorns House 5 months ago, my daughter was warmly welcomed into the nursery. Even though she never had any experience with any other nursery in the UK, she adapted really well and did not take long to get used to the environment at Acorn. She likes her main care given and her peers/friends. Even when we went back home to Kuwait during the holidays, she kept remembering and mentioning Acorns House and honestly, I felt that she was missing it. I would recommend Acorns to my friends/family who are looking for a nursery.

Our daughter and son both attend Acorns House and we think very highly of the staff at Acorns House. They are always approachable, understanding and kind. We chose Acorns House due to their high-quality policies and procedures that put the well-being of the children's safety at the care of everything they do.

Members of staff have always been welcoming and meet my child's needs. My daughter is very happy being dropped off and when being picked up. Overall beautiful nursery.

We are so pleased that our son can be at Acorns House. The staff are very friendly and look after our son very well. The most important thing is the staff always provide precious feedback for us. Especially our son who requires additional care.

We are thoroughly happy with the care that our daughter receives at Acorns House. She comes home and we see the difference in how much she learns. She talks about coming into nursery and seeing her friends. We only wish that we could send her in more. The staff are amazing and we would recommend Acorns House to anyone we know.

My child started at Acorns House in October 2024. The care and attention they have received has far exceeded our expectations. My child has additional dietary needs and the staff have been both accommodating and reassuring, not to mention exceptionally supportive. My child's key workers give a real sense of being cheerleaders for all of the children in their care and create a real sense of community in the nursery. My child has thrived in the care of Acorns House and has come on in leaps and bounds, physically, cognitively and socially. There is a clear strategy for each child's development, excellent communication regarding progress and well-being and in addition to this a sense of home like pastoral care and warmth.

From the moment we first enrolled my son, I was immediately impressed by the exceptional quality of care and professionalism consistently demonstrated by your team. Your staff are not only highly skilled and knowledgeable but also incredibly warm and compassionate. It is clear that everyone at Acorn is deeply committed to creating a nurturing and supportive environment for the children. The facilities and resources you provide are outstanding, offering my son endless opportunities to learn, grow, and explore.

Words can't express the gratitude I feel for the care and love they have bestowed on my two children in their care over the last three years. Acorns Park Grove, and its staff, feel like an extension of the family. The relationships they establish with the children and parents alike are excellent and I have felt so safe knowing my children are receiving the best care at Acorns. They are flexible, kind, considerate, warm, everything you would want in people looking after your children. The facilites are exceptional and the catering team do an excellent job in creating a varied and healthy menu for the children. Having looked at many nurseries, I knew as soon as I walked through the door that Acorns was the one. Nothing else compares. Each member of staff goes out of their way to welcome you and your child.

We, as a family are so sad that she'll be leaving for state nursery soon but are looking forward to our second daughter attending when she's a little older.

Well what can I say. I so wish I put my son in this nursery from day dot, best decision ever made. The staff are amazing and friendly, my son has settled in so well and he is thriving. He always comes home happy. I highly recommend!

Fantastic nursery, very caring, flexible and responsive to our needs and those of our child. Great communication through the app and during meetings whenever we request them. Also, great liaison with local support services through their Additional Learning Needs Coordinator (ALNCO).

My daughter has been attending Acorns House since June 2023 and absolutely adores it. The staff are wonderful, always very friendly and make sure that I am kept up to date on the day's activities. The nursery itself is very clean (this was one of the things that I noticed during my initial visit) and very well-equipped. My daughter's speech has come on wonderfully since she started attending Acorns House and she can now count up to 10, knows colours and shapes. The menu is very varied and my daughter always enjoys the food. I would highly recommend Acorns House and in fact, my older nephews and nieces also attended - wonderful nursery!

Very happy with our experience with this nursery. Our daughter loves it here. The staff are flexible, attentive and caring. The menu is fantastic and our daughter loves the activities.

All staff are fabulous and very friendly. Nothing is ever too much to ask! My daughter loves coming to nursery and she loves her group and her key workers! I couldn't ask for more. We love Acorns House!

Lovely and caring staff and key workers care so much about our little one. We love the fact our daughter has been cared for by members of staff who have watched her grow up from when she first came here as a baby! Activities in the day sound so much fun and a special mention to the catering staff/those who create such a varied menu as our daughter really enjoys her food. Thank you.

The support and care for our children provided by the staff and management team at Acorns House (Park Grove, Cardiff City Centre) has been second to none. The learning activities are superb and our daughter regularly teaches us what she has been doing. When we had a health issue with out son every team member was there for us and supported our daughter. Only downside is lack of wrap-around care so be aware of this before joining (no regrets at all). Other than that I cant rate the team, staff set up and culture of Acorns highly enough. Whole heartedly recommend.

When came the time to find a nursery for our baby of 8 months, I was so uneasy. The first time we visited, myself and my partner, were completely at ease. Acorns is a multi-sensory, multi-learning, clean, homely, quaint place. Its staff are outstanding, I trust all the ladies to teach, care and help our son. Thank you to you all.
