Acorns Whitchurch

My daughter has attended Acorns Whitchurch since December 2023. The staff are all incredibly caring, kind, professional and have taken the time to get to know her very well. She has some additional learning needs also which have been totally supported and staff have helped us get the extra help she needs before leaving this summer and starting school nursery. She has been included in everything and totally enjoys her days at nursery and the variety of activities on offer there. Children are constantly engaged in a variety of different activities through the day and my daughter has learned so much at Acorns Whitchurch. She loves being with her key workers, there have been a few in her 2.5 years there but she has had a lovely bond with all of them and is always enjoying time spent with other children but also individual adult interaction. This has supported her development greatly. I would not hesitate to recommend the nursery to other parents. The staff are all brilliant, its amazing!

Our son has been attending Acorns since he was 10 months old and he absolutely loves it. From day one, we've always felt completely comfortable and reassured leaving him there. The staff genuinely care about the children and it really shows in everything they do.

He's so happy there. We are able to drop him off each morning knowing he's safe, loved, and having a wonderful time. We're so grateful for all the care, support, and kindness the team gives him every day. We couldn't recommend this nursery highly enough.

My 4year old son has been at Acorns Whitchurch since he was 8 months old and our experience has been extremely positive. He was always a bit reserved but he has absolutely thrived and is a confident and happy little boy. He has had different key workers over the years who have all taken the time to understand his personality and encourage him to do the things he enjoys and support him in the areas where he needs a bit more help. Management have always been easy to talk to and addressed any concerns in a reassuring way. All the staff are very friendly and always greet him by name as he walks through the nursery. Knowing that he's in a nurturing environment and well looked after has given me so much peace of mind as a working mum.

Choosing a nursery for your child can be a huge decision and I can't state enough how glad I am that we chose Acorns Whitchurch.

If I had to pick one single thing, it would be how much effort every member of staff makes, from key workers, to the managers, to get to know your child and how invested they are in watching them learn and grow.

My child comes home from nursery every day excitedly telling us things that she has done, and. the names of the key workers frequently feature as they have been such an integral and involved part of her day. She beams as she tells me what she did and who was there with her while she was doing it.

The effort they make with stimulating, enjoyable, and educational activities is something that I'm incredibly grateful for. I truly feel she's getting one of the best starts in life she possibly could.

I can't recommend Acorns enough as it's been everything we hoped and wanted our child's nursery to be. I would recommend Acorns to anyone.

Acorns Whitchurch is an excellent nursery. The staff are friendly and supportive, knowledgeable about all the children, and have developed a great relationship with our son. He loves attending Acorns, and I believe the care and effort put in by the key workers has really helped him grow and develop month after month. I would highly recommend Acorns Whitchurch.

My daughter has been at Acorns Whitchurch since just before she was one and has always been very happy there. The staff are always friendly and know my daughter by name. The food options are fantastic and the activities are varied and engaging. The pre-school learning has been great and I have no doubt my daughter will be prepared for school. Whilst the cost is at the top end of nursery fees in the area, I feel it is worth it as my daughter is healthy, happy and thriving at Acorns Whitchurch. Thank you to all of the staff for their hard work and dedication to the children.

Acorns Whitchurch is an absolutely outstanding nursery. The staff are extremely caring, approachable and nurturing; my child is happy, content, and flourishing in their care. The nursery is well equipped, clean and very welcoming. We are delighted with the level of care and teaching, which involves lots of outdoor time in the garden and regular visits out of the nursery. The staff do lots of reading, singing, arts and crafts, and topical activities with the children, with no two days the same. My child comes home full of excitement and stories about their day, and talks extremely fondly of their key workers. They make a huge effort at lots of events including Christmas with a wonderful Christmas party, and parents always feel welcome, listened too, and very well supported. I cannot recommend Acorns Whitchurch highly enough and there is nowhere else I'd send my child.

My son loves it here. The staff are absolutely wonderful - genuinely caring, warm and attentive. My son is always excited to see them, happily runs in for cuddles, and is constantly engaged in the activities they plan. It's clear how much he trusts and enjoys being around them.

He especially loves the outdoor space, with the tricycles being a firm favourite. The food is also brilliant - varied, nutritious and clearly enjoyed. More so than mine at home.

The app they use keeps us fully updated with details of his day whenever we want them, which is really reassuring. Most importantly, this is a truly caring and loving environment that our son loves going to.

We are so happy with Acorns Nursery. We moved from Baby Acorns two years ago and were worried it wouldn't be as good, but since then we've had one and now two children attending Acorns Whitchurch, and we couldn't be happier.

Both of our children are always so happy going into nursery and coming home, which is undoubtedly thanks to the incredible staff. Everyone knows who we are every time we visit, and the level of dedication shown to the children and their families is second to none.

I will be very sad when my daughter leaves to go to full-time school later this year - and I know she will be too!

Our daughter has such a wonderful time at Acorns, and the structured activities combined with the plenty of free flow play has seen her develop in leaps and bounds. The regular app updates keep us up to speed with all the days events. The facilities at Whitchurch are excellent, the menu healthy and varied, but hands down Acorns greatest strength is the super staff. They are caring, professional and we have full confidence in our daughters safety when at nursery.

Acorns Whitchurch is a truly fantastic nursery - our son absolutely loves going to nursery and seeing all the staff and his friends. He has learnt so much and develops week on week. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff and they are all very friendly and know each child personally. They go the extra mile and hold lots of events and "stay and plays" so that parents can get to know the staff and key workers - the Christmas event is a particular favourite of ours as they make it very festive and it's so lovely to see all the children together. The settling in sessions when your child starts really help to put both your child and yourself at ease and help you to start this new chapter with confidence that your child is in a safe and fun learning environment. Our second child is starting Acorns this summer and we can't to watch her grow and develop with them alongside her big brother!

Our daughter thrived at Acorns and we are grateful for the wonderful care and amazing service provided at every stage of her time there, it has been an amazing experience and we can't thank every member of staff enough for looking after our precious girl. We appreciate how hard all the staff work to make the nursery run smoothly and keep the kids safe and entertained with a variety of different activities every day, they make it look easy and we know it's not! She loves everyone there, staff and children alike and has learned so much and developed quickly. The food is wonderful, prepared from scratch and cooked by talented chefs with a rotating menu. Spotlessly clean and tidy, lots of space, huge garden etc. The parents and grandparents days give us an opportunity to see how happy the children are and for family to feel involved e.g. cards and gifts to make together and take home as keepsakes. Celebrations all year e.g. Nativity was beautiful and we were very proud to see her on stage!

The meals are also great - healthy, varied and clearly enjoyed by the children. Overall it truly feels like a home from home.

The nursery also provides a wonderfully diverse and nutritious range of meals, which is something we really value. Since joining, our boys have come on in leaps and bounds in every aspect of their development, and we couldn't be happier with the care they receive.

What a great space for young children to play and learn. The activities keeping the children engaged and entertained are wonderful. From the short time I spend in the Nursery on collection, its so clear to see everyone working alongside these small people, they really do care.

We couldn't be happier with the Acorns. From the moment we first visited, it was clear how warm, welcoming, and genuinely caring the team are. Every member of staff takes the time to get to know the children as individuals, and it really shows in how settled, confident, and happy our daughter is each day.

The environment is safe, stimulating, and full of thoughtful activities that support learning through play. We love seeing the variety of creative projects, outdoor exploration, and social development opportunities she's given - it's obvious a lot of care goes into planning her days.

Communication with parents is excellent, with regular updates, photos, and feedback that make us feel involved in her progress. Most importantly, we have complete peace of mind knowing she is cared for by people who are kind, attentive, and truly invested in the children's wellbeing.

We feel very lucky to have found such a lovely, supportive place for her to grow and learn.

My youngest child is currently attending the nursery, and has been for three years. Our choice to send them was never in doubt, after a fantastic experience with our older child.

Some of the staff have changed, managers too since our eldest went, but the standard, quality and environment have remained consistently high.

The nursery space is large, welcoming, stimulating and safe. The children have a varied week with different activities, play, educational methods, tools etc. and they have a lovely garden. The children are taken to the local park, library, coffee shop!

It is one of the more expensive nurseries, but it is clear why and is worth it.

The staff have a been a great support to both of my children and me, over the years. We'll all feel it, when our journeys to Acorns and seeing the staff comes to an end.

We couldn't be happier with Acorns Whitchurch. From day one they've been incredibly caring, supportive and welcoming, and we genuinely feel at ease and happy leaving our daughter there. The level of quality, compassion and professionalism shown by the whole team is outstanding.

The nursery is always spotless and well organised, and the range of activities is fantastic. Our daughter has so much fun there and it really shows - she can't wait for her nursery days, which is so reassuring as a parent.

The management team are fantastic and all of the staff are so lovely. It's clear they truly know and care about every child, even those in other rooms. A special mention to the baby room staff for supporting us so seamlessly through the transition into nursery and back to work life - it made such a difference to our family.

The app updates are brilliant and reassuring, the food is great, and the lovely extras like festive evenings really show how much thought and care goes into everything

My daughter started at Acorns this year. All the staff, including the cleaning staff, have been wonderfully welcoming and our daughter seems to love it here. Everyone has taken the time to get to know the children and their own personalities. We like the regular updates on the app, and it feels like they do a lot of activities and trips to make the days special. Really feels like a home from home.

My son has attended this nursery since he was 9 months and he has always loved attending. The staff are brilliant, providing a comforting, fun and supported day. We are always provided with detailed feedback on my son's day, to include any development milestones being met during his attendance. The activities, care and food provided make this nursery more than worth its fees and I would and have recommended to all parents.
