Teesdale Childrens Day Nursery are very proud to have an 'Outstanding' Ofsted report from January 2017.

The staff team are focused on providing quality childcare and education for the children who attend their setting. Their aim is to give every child the best possible start in life.

The nursery staff use tapestry, an online learning journey to keep parents informed about their child's progress in nursery and parents have access as well so they can see how their children are developing.

The nursery is part of Nunthorpe Nurseries Group and they have an excellent reputation in the North East

The staff make the nursery outstanding. Their consistent approach and individual attention are a credit. The team makes the best use of the fairly limited outdoor space.

Amazing staff go up and beyond to help and support. My son really enjoys his time at nursery, he is learning more and more each week. his communication is improving with the help and support of the staff and I can program what the staff are helping my son with.

The nursery is a lovely caring environment which encourages my children to learn so well, my little girl recently started and settled nearly straight away! In preschool my boys are always doing new things including diddy kicks and funky feet!

As far as I have seen this is one of the best day nurseries. I have good experience with all the staff and take care of my kid very well. I am so happy to refer this school to my friends.

My daughter loves coming to Teesdale Day nursery and I always feel the love, care and safety from all members of staff there. I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone as you are always made to feel welcome as soon as you enter the nursery.

My daughter has progressed incredibly well here at Teesdale nursery. They have not only helped encourage my daughter, who has complex speech and learning needs but also support mum and I through regular updates, meetings and signposting to other services when needed.
This is the third nursery my daughter
has attended and the only one where I have felt she has had the support and guidance to thrive. To all the fantastic staff, I cannot thank them enough or recommend more. Thank you.

My little girl started nursery in October and she loves being there. She cries when I leave her but when I look in on my way out she is happy with a staff member, ready for breakfast! I love being able to see what she is doing on tapestry or their Facebook page as it reassures me that she is happy and
well.

I’m glad I decided to send my daughter to Day Nursery. The staff, they listen and follow instructions which as a parent made me feel content when I leave the nursery because I know she is being looked after well. It’s a clean, healthy and happy place for a child. Well done guys!

The staff at Teesdale are excellent, caring conscientious and always try to meet each child's specific needs.
My boys are always happy and content when at the nursery. They tell me they have had fun and enjoy coming.

Both my children have attended this nursery ad their development has been amazing! Both children have been amazing! Both children have great confidence and really enjoy attending. The staff are lovely and always happy to help. The security codes on the doors are changed frequently and this makes me
feel my child is extremely safe. I highly recommend this nursery.

My grandson absolutely loves coming to Teesdale Childrens Day Nursery. All the members of staff are fantastic with all the children; I have recommended the nursery to 2 of my friends. Cannot fault any staff member, totally put my mind at ease and they settle the (crying) children down within two seconds.
Love it completely, my grandson's come on 100%

My Godson loves coming to the nursery. He attends one day a week which has helped him socialise with others including children and adults. In the nursery, there is a variety of activities and experiences whilst helping my Godson's sensory skills.

Absolutely wonderful nursery. Staff are very friendly and helpful. My grandson loves to come and he has progressed so well. They offer such a variation in activities and keep families well informed of their children's progress. My grandson loves the food as there is always a wide variety of choices.
This has encouraged my grandson to try different tastes and textures. I would highly recommend anybody to consider using this nursery.

Hello, I'm Michelle.
I have a level 4 in Early years childhood studies and have worked in childcare for 22 years here at Teesdale Children's Day Nursery. I started out as an Early year's educator, working my way up to deputy manager and I'm now proud to be manager. I take pride in having very good organisational skills and use them when managing the nursery, staff, and children. I love to meet new families, welcoming them into our setting and ensuring that they feel comfortable. We work as a team to ensure all rooms provide fun, stimulating, and safe environments. I believe having a strong team helps children achieve their individual learning goals by working together and working alongside parents and families collectively. I look forward to welcoming you to our nursery.
