Teesdale Childrens Day Nursery are very proud to have an 'Outstanding' Ofsted report from January 2017.

The staff team are focused on providing quality childcare and education for the children who attend their setting. Their aim is to give every child the best possible start in life.

The nursery staff use tapestry, an online learning journey to keep parents informed about their child's progress in nursery and parents have access as well so they can see how their children are developing.

The nursery is part of Nunthorpe Nurseries Group and they have an excellent reputation in the North East

Staff are always very friendly and welcoming. I'm always pleased with how Tweenies staff look after my son. He is always learning new things. Very reassuring when I phone asking about son. Overall very happy and content leaving my son in the nursery.

I would really recommend this nursery. My little boy has come on leaps and bounds since attending. I feel at ease when he is here. He really loves coming to see his friends and always comes home with something new he has learned.

This nursery is outstanding and I feel grateful to have such a great place to leave my daughter each week. The staff are courteous, professional and always have time for the individual needs of each child. The flexibility and approachability of the manager is an added bonus, as a lone parent I sometimes

Teesdale Childrens Day Nursery is the best nursery around Teeside. Out of all the nurseries I could have chosen for my child, this one is the better choice. Staff are friendly, the children are happy, warm and well cared for, and the food variety is outstanding.

My son started nursery in August and since attending Teesdale he has grown in confidence and developed fantastically. He took a while to settle but the staff have been great in caring for and nurturing him. Staff ae also friendly and accommodating to our needs which is great as I sometimes need to switch
days. Overall Teesdale has been a great experience for my son, they are professional, knowledgeable, friendly and caring. We are really enjoying our time here.

The nursery is a lovely caring environment which encourages my children to learn so well, my little girl recently started and settled nearly straight away! In preschool my boys are always doing new things including diddy kicks and funky feet!

Hello, I'm Michelle.
I have a level 4 in Early years childhood studies and have worked in childcare for 22 years here at Teesdale Children's Day Nursery. I started out as an Early year's educator, working my way up to deputy manager and I'm now proud to be manager. I take pride in having very good organisational skills and use them when managing the nursery, staff, and children. I love to meet new families, welcoming them into our setting and ensuring that they feel comfortable. We work as a team to ensure all rooms provide fun, stimulating, and safe environments. I believe having a strong team helps children achieve their individual learning goals by working together and working alongside parents and families collectively. I look forward to welcoming you to our nursery.
