Little Ladybirds Day Nursery is an Ofsted rated 'good' nursery (May 2023) situated in a purpose-built venue in Stockton, Teesside. Within the nursery, care is provided for children aged six weeks through to five-years-old.

The nursery is divided into four main rooms, all of which are designed to meet the requirements of the early years foundation stage. Within a very large pre-school room children have access to iPads, touch-screen computers and interactive whiteboards. Outside there is a large play area which utilises natural materials and includes a water wall and mud kitchen.

The staff team at Little Ladybirds includes an early years teacher and all staff are trained in paediatric first aid.

There are a number of extra-curricular activities provided at no extra charge at Little Ladybirds, including football, French and signing tots.

The nursery provides flexibility on days and two, three and four-year-old grant funding is available.

All the staff are amazing they make you feel at ease if your child is feeling a bit upset or uneasy going into nursery. My daughter has been through all the rooms in Little Ladybirds Day Nursery and I’ve not had a problem at all they seem to deal with everything in a great manner. My daughter has come
on a lot since being in nursery things I’d never think to teach her at home and she adores the activities that she does within the nursery as-well-as with the sports coach, French and Sing and Sign. Overall fantastic nursery.

Little Ladybirds is the most wonderful place! My child started just after her second birthday. I was really nervous to change from a childminder to a nursery but it was the best thing we’ve ever done! The staff are exceptional at their jobs, the nursery is clean, got so many different activities, the
equipment is great, the food is healthy but tasty and I love that they go outside rain or shine which I think is where my child's love or being outside stems from! My child struggled at first but the staff always called me and made the transition much better for me and my child. I can’t thank them enough. Already planning to put my next baby in the nursery!

Amazing staff who always go above and beyond any expectations.
Our oldest (now 5) went here for 3 years so having our youngest (now 2) go was an easy decision. They both love it and run through the door each morning.

I’ve had 2 children attend this nursery now and they both loved it so much. My youngest is still there now. She loves the kind and caring staff, seems to enjoy all her meals as I get updates on how much she’s eating and she runs in excited every day.
The range of activities they do is outstanding.
I honestly cannot praise this nursery highly enough.

A brilliant setting where we have seen our daughter flourish over the years.

Love this place!
I was very wary about sending my little boy to nursery but he absolutely loves it here.
I feel comfortable knowing he is well cared for every day!
I had looked at quite a few nurseries but feel I made entirely the right choice with Little Ladybirds!

Little Ladybirds is the best nursery in the area. The staff are friendly, caring and compassionate towards all children. They have looked after both of my children and have made the transition into settling into nursery seamless. They are extremely accommodating and I love the updates throughout the
day. I wouldn’t choose anywhere else for my children. The learning and experiences that they provide are outstanding.

My children absolutely love Little Ladybirds! They literally run into nursery on a morning with so much excitement. The care that the nursery gives them is exceptional. Wouldn’t want them to go anywhere else.

As a single mum who has had her son by her side 24/7 since he was born, needless to say I was anxious about him starting nursery. I can honestly say this nursery has made the transition as seamless as possible. They’ve been so caring and comforting to my son who still gets upset leaving me, but he always
leaves smiling. I get regular updates throughout the day of what he’s eaten, drank, nappies, sleep and what he’s been up to in the day. They’re making an effort to help bring him on with his walking. They’re so patient with his eating (he’s mega slow). I can’t recommend enough.

My little girl started at Little Ladybirds just after her second birthday and its the best thing we have done. Since she started attending here, she has come on leaps and bounds. She was already a really happy, outgoing girl but coming here has definitely helped her confidence grow. The staff are all
amazing and friendly. Every day, when we collect her from the nursery, she is so happy and I always know she has had a great day. I would recommend this nursery to anyone.

Our daughter has been attending Little Ladybirds nursery since she was 13 months old and now attends preschool which she thoroughly enjoys. The staff are fantastic, we have seen how well our daughter has progressed and continues to develop. We love the range of activities that our daughter enjoys and
thoroughly appreciate the care that the staff put into developing new fun activities and learning opportunities for the children on a daily basis. Our daughter was quite a fussy eater and being at Little Ladybirds has really helped with this, we are often envious of the food she enjoys throughout the day. We really like the electronic app which allows us to keep up to date with how our daughter is getting on during the day. We would highly recommend the nursery and look forward to our daughter’s sister starting at Little Ladybirds next year.

As a first time mum, leaving my child and going back to work was the hardest thing I have ever experienced but things were made so much easier by the amazing staff at Little Ladybirds. My daughter loves being there, nothing is too difficult for them and their focus on play and education is exemplary.
They keep me well informed, with daily feedback about my daughter's well being and development and are always flexible in providing extra childcare days should I need them. I would recommend them to anyone and I will be sad when the time comes that my daughter needs to leave.

The nursery is fantastic, the staff are amazing and the opportunities provided from baby to preschool really are second to none. My daughter has come on leaps and bounds, enjoys going to nursery and often asks about her friends and staff when not there.
They paint, sing, sign, read, count, dance.
It’s a fantastic, fun place to be.
My daughter (due to illness) suffered a febrile convulsion. Thanks to the training and awareness of the staff they managed to take my daughter safely out of the way and an ambulance was there within 2 mins. Had it not been for the professionalism the outcome could have been unfathomable.
Your children are cared for by the very best at this nursery.

My little boy has been attending Little Ladybirds since he was 11 months old and is now due to turn 2 in the next few weeks. Throughout that time, he's moved from the baby group to Tweenies and has now just moved to Toddlers. Throughout all this change the staff have been amazing, making sure he was
completely settled in each group. The staff genuinely care about the children and I feel comfortable and confident leaving him there with them.

I have been using Little Ladybirds for over a year now and would not send my children anywhere else. When making the decision to stay or go to school, there was no thinking needed to keep my son at Ladybirds. He loves the practitioners in Preschool and asks daily upon waking if he’s going to nursery,
even Saturday and Sunday. He loves Football and French lessons and has made great connections with his peers and his development has been no concern at all. The staff are professional and caring throughout the nursery in every room.

After initially enrolling our son in a different local nursery, after a month we changed to Little Ladybirds Day Nursery and have never looked back! He is like a different child when we drop him off and collect him! He has built excellent relationships with the staff and they have gone the extra mile
to ensure he has had a smooth transition and settled in!
We receive a detailed handover when we collect him and we can track his activities and photos on the app which is complete peace of mind!
The daily activities and play are well structured and the staff provide a warm and nurturing environment.

Both our children currently go to Little Ladybirds and absolutely love it. They go in with smiles and come out with smiles after fun and busy days. The staff are really friendly and they nurture the children, everyone knows them both! They really care for the children as if they were their own!
The
environment is clean, safe and well planned. The transitions between rooms have been really smooth. Our eldest started in babies and is now in pre-school. He really loves the staff! He eats well and enjoys the varied menu they receive. He has really enjoyed the range of extras offered, library bus, sign and sing, french with Madame Vardy, to name a few!
Our youngest is in babies, Little Ladybirds staff mirror our routines etc. It is definitely a home from home!
The communication between nursery and home is brilliant. Staff make time to speak to parents during drop off and collection, the parent app and Facebook page are great.

I and my wife have our little girl at this nursery and I would recommend it to anyone looking in the Teesside area!
Our little girl has come on leaps and bounds spending times here doing things like sing and sign, playing with the other children and having a key worker.
We use the app to see what
she’s been up to which they update regularly with things like activities done, what and how much food milk and sleep she has had and any nappy changes (the app is a brilliant tool).

My son has been going to this nursery since he was 11 months old. We visited a few nurseries when the time came for me to go back to work and this was by far the best - the staff are so friendly! He loves the library bus as he gets to pick his own book and he loves joining in with sign, song and sign.
I love the app as I can see what he’s been doing during the day and can see any observations that staff have done with him. He loves going and we have recently decided to keep him there until he starts school. I would recommend this nursery to anyone!
