Little Ladybirds Day Nursery is an Ofsted rated 'good' nursery (May 2023) situated in a purpose-built venue in Stockton, Teesside. Within the nursery, care is provided for children aged six weeks through to five-years-old.

The nursery is divided into four main rooms, all of which are designed to meet the requirements of the early years foundation stage. Within a very large pre-school room children have access to iPads, touch-screen computers and interactive whiteboards. Outside there is a large play area which utilises natural materials and includes a water wall and mud kitchen.

The staff team at Little Ladybirds includes an early years teacher and all staff are trained in paediatric first aid.

There are a number of extra-curricular activities provided at no extra charge at Little Ladybirds, including football, French and signing tots.

The nursery provides flexibility on days and two, three and four-year-old grant funding is available.

A lovely friendly nursery. My little boy loves coming here, he is happy and the staff are great with him.
He has additional needs, which are catered for with no problems at all.
I would recommend Little Ladybirds to other parents.

We currently have one child in the nursery but our eldest went there too. Both joined aged just under 6 months and have been very happy there, from the very first day. Staff in each room are competent and very friendly and know how to build strong relationships with children. I can go to work knowing
that my child is safe, well looked-after and happy, some days, she doesn't even want to leave!

My son has attended Little Ladybirds since January 2016 and it has been a truly great experience for him. In the beginning he was extremely upset to be left at nursery but the girls in the baby room were great with him. Now he gets excited when we tell him he's going to nursery on a morning! The activities
he does whilst he's in nursery are good and he eats a nice variety of foods whilst he's there. Their facilities are good and I always think it looks very clean. I recommend Little Ladybirds to my friends, as I believe it's helped my son really come on and become a sociable and confident little toddler.

My daughter is 4.5 years old and attended this nursery since she was 10 months old. She has built strong friendships with the children and staff at the nursery. The staff are very welcoming and have made my daughter feel very welcome, she is already starting to say everyone will miss me when I go to
big school. I would strongly recommend the nursery as they have encouraged her and developed her key skills profoundly.

Excellent staff, friendly and inviting environment. Our daughter has been attending since she was 9months old is has come on so much. She is happy and well looked after at Little Ladybirds and we couldn't be happier with her care

Staff are always friendly and happy. My little boy always comes home with a big smile on his face, he loves going to nursery. The activities they do are fantastic. Nothing is ever to much trouble for the staff. Would definitely recommend this nursery.

My son has been in and out of several settings in his three years of life and at little ladybirds he has settled in so well. They have been very supportive when working with me in overcoming some behavioural issues, sorting him an action plan to help him understand his behaviour and a reward system
to encourage good behaviour. I think the inclusion of french lessons is a great idea and my son loves learning new words and has been practicing his numbers at home. He thoroughly enjoys playing outside and gets to go out two or three times a day, even in wet weather they go out for short periods for a bit of fresh air and to run off steam. The garden is in the process of getting a make over but it is a nice large open space for them to explore with plants and shrubs surrounding the garden. The pre school room is well laid out with lots of areas to explore, from dressing up and home corner, to messy play, science and maths exploration of materials, magnets natural objects etc, small world, construction area, itc area with interactive white board. And much much more.
