Billingham Childrens Day Nursery

All staff are lovely and welcoming. My daughter has been going here for a while now and absolutely loves it. Always talking about her friends that she’s made and the things she has done throughout the day. She has progressed in her speech, writing and reading. I am very thankful to all staff for helping her progress in these things while in their care. Would highly recommend!

I am absolutely devastated my little boy is moving to school nursery. Billingham day nursery has been beyond amazing, every staff member cares so much about each child and the support they give to not only the children but their families too is wonderful.

I’m not quite sure how my little boy will handle the transition as even when he’s at home he asks about nursery and his wonderful teachers.

If you are looking to send your child to a nursery where they will be cared for, safe, nurtured and supported then look no further. This nursery will give cuddles and constant care so you don’t need to worry.

The staff at Billingham Childrens Day Nursery have been outstanding - I couldn’t have wished for anything else. My son was excited to go each morning and always came out with a smile on his face. The facilities are brilliant and there is something new every day.

Brilliant nursery helped my foster child with all his additional needs. He has been there since he was 10 months old and I couldn't ask for a better team. They have helped him grow and learn especially as he has individual needs.

My child has attended this nursery from the age of just over a year till leaving at the age of four nearly. She absolutely loves this nursery, the staff, the environment and the activities they do - signing tots, library bus, songs, communication skills, and so many more. She has absolutely thrived with this nursery, and I couldn’t have any fault upon this place. Really has brought my child out of her shell with a childhood full of memories, knowledge, and laughter. All thanks are given to this nursery - one of the best in the area.

Can’t praise this nursery enough fantastic staff and management who have gone above and beyond to meet all my child’s needs pre and post autism diagnosis. They applied for 1:1 support, higher needs funding and put an EHCP in place which resulted in him being able to access an early years support nursery on split hours. The care time and fantastic relationship he has built with them is more than I could ask for. They have also supported me emotionally as professional and on a parent level and anything they couldn’t help with they always found external resources to direct me to, I will be forever grateful and sad to leave them in the summer, but can’t thank them enough or praise and recommend them highly as without them we wouldn’t be in such a strong position as we are today. If I’m lucky enough later in life to have another child I will most definitely be returning to this setting!

From the moment we went to view Billingham Day Nursery, we felt immediately comfortable with the staff and the lovely, warm atmosphere. My son has attended since he was 10 months old and he loves it. He's 19 months old now and always leaves with a smile on his face or sometimes turns back around wanting to continue playing. He waves and blows kisses to the staff which shows us how much he likes them and they do an amazing job of looking after him. His skills have developed massively whilst attending. He wants to be independent and the staff do a great job of letting him, whilst helping maintain the boundaries an 18-month-old needs. He also has dietary requirements and medical issues which they cater to well and maintain communication every day with us on those issues and on how he's been generally, throughout the day. He's there a lot as he attends five days a week, but I feel 100% secure sending him, as he's so well looked after. I couldn't recommend this nursery highly enough.

All of three my children went to this nursery from the age of 3 years old. The nursery is amazing, the staff are wonderful with the children and great support to parents. My children all thrived there, and we were all very sad when my youngest recently had his last day. It really is a fantastic place for children to spend their early years.

I would 100% recommend the nursery to anyone. They are also extremely flexible with days.

Great nursery our son loves it and loves the team they are all so warm and welcoming. He joined as a 1-year-old during Covid and has developed so much in six months. It's remarkable and mainly down to nursery we love how much emphasis they place on home life and family and sharing this with nursery too! Thanks so much!

I couldn't of put my child in a better nursery the staff are wonderful they are very happy, friendly, welcoming, approachable, I'm more than happy with the standard of care my child receives. It's an impressive environment I feel like I'm taking my child from my home into another home that is how homely I feel it is he really enjoys his time there staff always inform me how his day has been what he has done, ate, etc. he's always happy going in and leaving. I'll be upset to see my child leave the staff are a credit to yourselves and the nursery. His speech and knowledge has come on tremendously.

A great place for the social, emotional, intellectual and physical development of children. My daughter is always excited to go in and they keep you updated on the activities and things your child is doing.

My daughter was welcomed from the first day that she joined the nursery. My daughter has come on leaps and bounds since joining, her talking has come on marvellous and she's becoming so well manned. Every staff at the nursery is kind, person-centred and you can see that all of the staff genuinely love and care about the children they look after. The staff at the nursery have been so understanding during the pandemic when my shifts had been swapped/changed and I was ringing up changing dates/times. I could not wish for a better nursery or staff to look after my daughter. Amazing beautiful people! Thank you!

My 2 children joined this nursery last year as theirs closed due to financial difficulties during coronavirus. The staff have been amazing at welcoming them and settling them in. They are caring and supportive, even more flexible with dates and accomodating for my children so I can work. Also, they have accommodated well to my daughter's needs as she has a milk protein allergy yet she still has the same as other children but with adapted recipes with her milk. I have been overjoyed to see my children happy and well and can go to work carefree knowing they are safe and looked after.

My great-grandson has attended Billingham Day Nursery since he was 11 months old. He is now 3. It is a lovely friendly place, all members of staff are dedicated and professional but still retain the open loving touch to the children. I could not wish for him to be in a better place during his pre-school years.

My daughter has attended this nursery for around a year and a half. She loves attending, and we feel confident she is very well cared for and nurtured. They do a wide range of activities and do very thoughtful things on occasions/events such as Christmas and Mother's day. We are also very happy about the Covid secure plans. Thank you to all staff for being so caring.
