Nunthorpe Children's Day Nursery

Brilliant nursery, my little boy really enjoys going every day. Staff are very caring and I would extremely recommend this nursery. Our little boy is going to be bilingual and they have really helped him with his language. We are very grateful to them.

Our son has attended Nunthorpe Children's Day Nursery for over 3 years now. He loves his time there and has built strong relationships with both the children and staff. He is a confident, clever little boy and I firmly believe the nursery has played a big part in that. His development over the years has been amazing to see - the staff have given him so much of their time over the years which has been invaluable for his development. The staff go over and above their standard duties to care for him. The days out they go on and the activities they do are always brilliantly organised and thought out. Being able to log into their daily record system is great for parents as they can see what their little ones have been up to and also add comments and photos from home too.

I would (and already have) highly recommend Nunthorpe Nursery to family and friends and look forward to our 2nd son being a part of the nursery in the future.

Keep up the good work team Nunthorpe!

Nunthorpe Nurseries plan so many creative challenges for my 3-year-old. The great outdoor space means she spends a lot of time outdoors learning about the world through play. All the staff engage her and are very attentive. Thoroughly recommend.

Fantastic nursery and fantastic staff. I would and have recommended this nursery to everyone! My little one has been attending for 3 and a half years and he has come on leaps and bounds. His development has been amazing and it's all down to the excellent staff who work with him every day. We will be sad to see him leave and go to big school in September but happy to know his little brother will be joining the nursery in April.

My son started at Nunthorpe nursery when he was 2 years. He settled in really well and all staff were fantastic with him and me. So much so that I opted to put his younger sister in from being 1 year old. A little bit hesitant at going back to work as I have never left my children in childcare from such a young age. However knowing how they were with my son I felt more than confident returning to work and leaving the staff care for my two youngest children. Their imagination and knowledge have grown tremendously and their little characters have been formed with the help of all the staff not just the ladies in the nursery but also the manager gets stuck in and likes to help out with the children and knows all children who walk through the door. It's like another big family at Nunthorpe nursery and I am forever grateful for the work they do with my children x

Absolutely incredible nursery staff. The setting is lovely, both my children have been very much cared for, and loved by the staff. They are always more than willing to take time and give information and updates. And mainly ensure safety for all measures and all ages including adults. Quite sad that we won't be using the nursery anymore as it really is a totally unique and wonderful experience at this nursery. Thanks a lot to the team for all the dedication, time and care given.

This nursery is amazing, we have sent both of our children here and one currently still attends. The staff are amazing, very friendly and happy to help with anything. They take excellent care of the children and always go out of their way to make sure the children have fun new activities to do all the time.

A lovely nursery where my baby is happy and settled quickly. Staff members are always friendly and accommodating. Online Tapestry updates help me feel relaxed and happy at work knowing my baby is safe and having fun.

Staff are very personable and friendly. As a new mum I felt the staff were also very informative and supportive to me in the beginning, they also offered advice and helped me feel normal!!

They made an initial very anxious time when I had to go back to work very easy and eased the stress! I had no worries about leaving my child here.

My child is so settled here and I feel he has come on leaps and bounds by being in this environment, I'm very thankful for all that the staff do.

Both my daughters have attended Nunthorpe Day Nursery and my youngest still does. I cannot begin to describe how wonderful the nursery is, we love everything about it. The manager is extremely helpful and the staff are just fabulous. I don't know what we would do without them, they are by far the best in the area. It's simply magical.

This is a wonderful nursery. It's such a big thing to trust anybody with your child, but after seeing the way that the staff are with my daughter I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this nursery to friends. It's not easy going back to work and leaving your baby but I feel fully confident she is being well looked after, I also get emails with photos of what she has being doing and new things she's achieved. She's built relationships with the staff who care for her and I'm glad I didn't put her anywhere else, to me it's worth the money to know she's safe and being looked after properly. Fully recommend the nursery to everyone and anyone!

This is a lovely nursery which my child has settled into and really enjoys. The staff are always welcoming and seem to have a good understanding of my child. The updates and photos on the Tapestry system are really nice so I can see what my child has been up to. I would really recommend this nursery.

The nursery is fantastic. All of the staff and management are lovely and they always have so many different activities for the children. I was very nervous at first about leaving my little girl but I am over the moon with all the staff since my little girl has been going there and she absolutely loves it. Can't compliment the staff enough. Highly recommended.

Lovely friendly nursery. My 2 year old daughter loves it. Has lots of different activity areas indoors and a good outdoor area. The staff interact fantastically with the children, leaving me very reassured about leaving my little girl. Would definitely recommend.

My daughter has been attending this nursery for approx six months now. I didn't have any experience in relation to placing my daughter in daycare so was a little anxious prior to her first day. I should not have worried one bit, my daughter absolutely loves the place. The staff are excellent with her and I have seen her develop at a great pace since she started attending.

The facilities are fantastic and the staff go that extra mile to keep you up-to-date in terms of the daily activities that my daughter takes part in. Safety and security is also very good with a strict entry code system in place. I'm lucky that I found a nursery as good as this at the first time of asking.
