Nunthorpe Children's Day Nursery

Absolutely incredible nursery staff. The setting is lovely, both my children have been very much cared for, and loved by the staff. They are always more than willing to take time and give information and updates. And mainly ensure safety for all measures and all ages including adults. Quite sad that we won't be using the nursery anymore as it really is a totally unique and wonderful experience at this nursery. Thanks a lot to the team for all the dedication, time and care given.

This nursery is amazing, we have sent both of our children here and one currently still attends. The staff are amazing, very friendly and happy to help with anything. They take excellent care of the children and always go out of their way to make sure the children have fun new activities to do all the time.

A lovely nursery where my baby is happy and settled quickly. Staff members are always friendly and accommodating. Online Tapestry updates help me feel relaxed and happy at work knowing my baby is safe and having fun.

Staff are very personable and friendly. As a new mum I felt the staff were also very informative and supportive to me in the beginning, they also offered advice and helped me feel normal!!

They made an initial very anxious time when I had to go back to work very easy and eased the stress! I had no worries about leaving my child here.

My child is so settled here and I feel he has come on leaps and bounds by being in this environment, I'm very thankful for all that the staff do.

Both my daughters have attended Nunthorpe Day Nursery and my youngest still does. I cannot begin to describe how wonderful the nursery is, we love everything about it. The manager is extremely helpful and the staff are just fabulous. I don't know what we would do without them, they are by far the best in the area. It's simply magical.

This is a wonderful nursery. It's such a big thing to trust anybody with your child, but after seeing the way that the staff are with my daughter I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this nursery to friends. My daughter has come on leaps and bounds since starting the nursery and has made lots of lovely friends! Thank you Nunthorpe Nurseries!

It's not easy going back to work and leaving your baby but I feel fully confident she is being well looked after, I also get emails with photos of what she has being doing and new things she's achieved. She's built relationships with the staff who care for her and I'm glad I didn't put her anywhere else, to me it's worth the money to know she's safe and being looked after properly. Fully recommend the nursery to everyone and anyone!

This is a lovely nursery which my child has settled into and really enjoys. The staff are always welcoming and seem to have a good understanding of my child. The updates and photos on the Tapestry system are really nice so I can see what my child has been up to. I would really recommend this nursery.

The nursery is fantastic. All of the staff and management are lovely and they always have so many different activities for the children. I was very nervous at first about leaving my little girl but I am over the moon with all the staff since my little girl has been going there and she absolutely loves it. Can't compliment the staff enough. Highly recommended.

Lovely friendly nursery. My 2 year old daughter loves it. Has lots of different activity areas indoors and a good outdoor area. The staff interact fantastically with the children, leaving me very reassured about leaving my little girl. Would definitely recommend.

My daughter has been attending this nursery for approx six months now. I didn't have any experience in relation to placing my daughter in daycare so was a little anxious prior to her first day. I should not have worried one bit, my daughter absolutely loves the place. The staff are excellent with her and I have seen her develop at a great pace since she started attending.

The facilities are fantastic and the staff go that extra mile to keep you up-to-date in terms of the daily activities that my daughter takes part in. Safety and security is also very good with a strict entry code system in place. I'm lucky that I found a nursery as good as this at the first time of asking.

I've had both my children in the nursery since 2011 and my youngest is still there now. The nursery has been a great support to me and has allowed me to work and have the comfort that my children were both well looked after. My children have flourished at the nursery and developed in confidence over the years. I'm kept up to date with their progress all the time and I can see just how much they have done. They do a great variety of things to keep them occupied and they love the variety of it all. The girls are fab and you can see that they genuinely love what they do. I would definitely recommend the nursery!

Amazing nursery! Having tried two different nursery's my daughter didn't settle in either I used to dread taking her but she absolutely loves this one! I even book her in on the odd occasion when I'm not at work which I would never have done before. The staff are so warm and friendly to us and each time I pop in they are doing activities with the children. I get emails with pictures of her playing and how she's developing. It's clean, bright and according to my little one the food is delicious! Highly recommended.

My son settled in really well after 7 weeks off, the staff made both him and I immediately delighted that we made the right decision to keep him in the nursery rather than school nursery. He always comes home in a very good mood. He really looks forward to nursery. He has a couple of health problems but my husband and I trust all the staff 100%. This nursery is lovely, friendly and always makes you very welcome.

The nursery has been fantastic for my daughter's development. She has been there since she was a few months old and is now 3. She loves the nursery staff, who I couldn't speak more highly of. They are constantly thinking of new ideas and the children go on some interesting trips out too. A first class nursery to send your child to, my daughter loves it! I particularly love the online system that gives us photos and descriptions of what our daughter has been doing at nursery.

Both my children have attended this nursery and loved every minute. Very friendly, kind and nurturing staff providing just what they needed at each stage of their development. Good communication from the staff with detailed updates on the days events and activities. I get regular updates sent to my email showing the activities they have been participating in and how this is linked to their developmental assessment through the online journal.
