Nunthorpe Children's Day Nursery

My daughter is 3 years old and has been attending Nunthorpe Nursery since she was 15 months old, the staff are fantastic and always have been. The setting is very welcoming and I have never had any issues. My daughter enjoys attending nursery and she will miss all the staff when she leaves for big school. She has learnt so much and I can not thank the staff enough for this.

It’s perfect for our needs and such a lovely place I only wish I’d brought my older children when they were small. I’m sure they would have loved it to.

My son started here in February and he loves it! All the staff were extremely welcoming and friendly, my son enjoys all the different activities they do. He has come on so much since starting and loves to tell us what he’s been doing, it’s lovely that we also get updates of what he’s been up to on tapestry. We highly recommend this nursery!

The nursery is always clean and has codes for the building and rooms.

You will not regret sending your children here.

The TAD Centre Day Nursery have always made my child feel welcome and comfortable at nursery. She adores all the staff and always looks forward to going to ‘school’ every day. We will both be very sad when she leaves for big school.

My daughter started at Nunthorpe Children's Day Nursery at 9 months old, she is now almost 3. With every stage she has passed through the nursery has been supportive and helpful. The staff are wonderful, all of them! Warm, caring, kind, encouraging, loving, engaged, creative, and consequentially my daughter is incredibly happy here. The nursery is flexible and accommodating and regular updates, photos and videos are provided via the Tapestry app, which I love! With fresh food prepared on site and ever-changing displays, themes and learning activities, the children and well nourished in body and mind. I can't recommend this nursery highly enough.

Fantastic nursery, grandson always happy to go and has fun while there. Staff are brilliant and there is plenty of fun learning activities for my grandson to take part in. Very pleased.

My son and daughter both attend Nunthorpe Nursery and I cannot recommend it enough! The children are learning as well as playing, recent updates on tapestry with the children’s development/progress recorded and the staff are very friendly and form a lovely relationship with the children.

The nursery is great. Would highly recommend. The staff and the manager at Nunthorpe really do care about the kids.

An excellent nursery with brilliant staff and facilities. Going back to work after maternity leave was made so much easier knowing my son was in such a friendly and safe environment.

Brilliant nursery, my little boy really enjoys going every day. Staff are very caring and I would extremely recommend this nursery. Our little boy is going to be bilingual and they have really helped him with his language. We are very grateful to them.

Our son has attended Nunthorpe Children's Day Nursery for over 3 years now. He loves his time there and has built strong relationships with both the children and staff. He is a confident, clever little boy and I firmly believe the nursery has played a big part in that. His development over the years has been amazing to see - the staff have given him so much of their time over the years which has been invaluable for his development. The staff go over and above their standard duties to care for him. The days out they go on and the activities they do are always brilliantly organised and thought out. Being able to log into their daily record system is great for parents as they can see what their little ones have been up to and also add comments and photos from home too.

I would (and already have) highly recommend Nunthorpe Nursery to family and friends and look forward to our 2nd son being a part of the nursery in the future.

Nunthorpe Nurseries plan so many creative challenges for my 3-year-old. The great outdoor space means she spends a lot of time outdoors learning about the world through play. All the staff engage her and are very attentive. Thoroughly recommend.

Fantastic nursery and fantastic staff. I would and have recommended this nursery to everyone! My little one has been attending for 3 and a half years and he has come on leaps and bounds. His development has been amazing and it's all down to the excellent staff who work with him every day. We will be sad to see him leave and go to big school in September but happy to know his little brother will be joining the nursery in April.

My son started at Nunthorpe nursery when he was 2 years. He settled in really well and all staff were fantastic with him and me. So much so that I opted to put his younger sister in from being 1 year old. A little bit hesitant at going back to work as I have never left my children in childcare from such a young age. However knowing how they were with my son I felt more than confident returning to work and leaving the staff care for my two youngest children. Their imagination and knowledge have grown tremendously and their little characters have been formed with the help of all the staff not just the ladies in the nursery but also the manager gets stuck in and likes to help out with the children and knows all children who walk through the door. It's like another big family at Nunthorpe nursery and I am forever grateful for the work they do with my children x
