Tynemouth Nursery at Battle Hill

We have been very impressed with the care our child has received from the nursery. The staff are kind and nurturing. We have seen his confidence grow so much.

Amazing nursery with lovely staff. My little boy has been going to this nursery since just after he turned one and nearly two years later he still loves it. His confidence and independence have come on so much and he always comes home talking about his friends, staff and what they have been doing each time and even asks if he can go back most days. The nursery is also so accommodating if extra days are required and nothing is too much regarding his allergies, he always has a like-for-like alternative.

Lovely little nursery with amazing staff, my little boy has been going since he was 9 months old and has always been happy to go in with no tears, as he is comfortable with the staff. He now happily toddles in each morning, eager to start his nursery day.

My daughter loves going to nursery here. Communication is excellent, and the staff are so lovely and welcoming. They planned several settling in sessions to help ease the transition and my child is always happy to go into the nursery.

Since started at the nursery in September 2019, I have felt extremely comfortable leaving my son in the care of the staff. They are always coming up with creative learning, and my son has many friends there. The staff have helped him thrive and become the sociable young boy he is. He is excited when going into the nursery, and the staff keep us updated on any events or if he has been a bit grumpy as they try to understand why. The nursery cook is loved by all the children, and his delicious food has helped to encourage non-fussy eating.

I couldn't recommend this nursery enough. My little boy started at this nursery a year ago, and he's come on so much! He absolutely loves the girls who work there and is always so happy going in. He always asks to go and play with his friends on the days he's not there. I love how every time he is there, I get a picture uploaded on the home leaning of him being so happy, doing activities and having fun.

I can not recommend this nursery enough. I wish I had found this place sooner for my little boy! From day one, I have felt so comfortable leaving him there; the staff are so lovely and welcoming. They take the time to chat with you every day about your child, and you can see the amazing relationships they have with the children. My son's confidence and developments are growing every single day because of the nursery, and it is lovely to see. My son always talks about nursery so positively and loves attending. The nursery provides a great range of activities and also send you learning updates, which is great to see! Thank you so much to all of the team for everything you have done! I 1000000% recommend!

My child started this nursery in September 2020, and for her bring with me the first year of her life, she was an emotional wreck when leaving me, but Tynemouth Nursery at Battle Hill have brought her on loads. She goes running in happy ready to start her day. I wouldn't send my daughter anywhere else, they like her second family. The staff are so kind and welcoming.

My son struggled a lot with his first nursery, but as soon he started at Tynemouth Nursery, he settled in straight away! He has come on so much and it has given him so much confidence to interact with other kids and brought his learning on a lot. All the staff are so friendly and welcoming. I know that he is in a safe and caring environment where he learns a lot and also enjoys himself. Would highly recommend to anyone.

I have found the nursery and all the staff to be brilliant. The children always have fun activities to do and learning about new things every day. My son walks in smiling and walks out with an even bigger smile! He has come on amazingly these past few months, thanks to all the staff! Would highly recommend to everyone.

This is an amazing nursery. The staff are so committed, warm and loving to the children. My daughter has been coming here for 2-days a week since she was just over 1. She loves nursery and has developed so much confidence whilst being here. I could not recommend anywhere more highly than here!

Love this nursery. My child is very happy and has progressed well. The staff take their time to help my child potty train as well with care. My child is always excited to go to nursery and see staff and friends. Nursery staff talk to me regularly regarding my child's progress.

Since joining Tynemouth Nursery I have had the joy of watching my child's confidence grow. The staff have all been fantastic in helping him to adjust to leaving me. The feedback about my child is a great asset. He always looks forward to going and never wants to leave, would 110% recommend. A lovely 'family' type feel which is rare to find - a hidden gem.

Both my children started in September and love nursery days. The staff are all so lovely, helpful and kind. They have all helped them come along so much and I'm so happy with their progress at the nursery. I have a child with allergies that they have worked with amazingly and have helped so much with potty training.

My little boy started at the end of July and he settled in straight away. He really enjoys it and looks forward to going. All the staff are lovely and they make the parents and kids relaxed which is helpful if you are worried about leaving your child. He always has lots of fun and loves to talk and tell me about his day there, it's like he has always been there. He walks in with a smile and is happy. Thank you from us.

My son has come on leaps and bounds since joining the nursery. His speech and confidence have become amazing with the support of his teachers, they take a lot of pride in their work and it really shows. The staff are fantastic, they go above and beyond for the children also, the parent/carer of all the children.

The nursery have been amazing for my daughter and my son. My daughter has terrible skin and they do everything they can to help with this, they go above and beyond when her skin is really bad. She has already learned so much and come on so quickly thanks to the girls here. I can't thank them enough.
