Tynemouth Nursery at Battle Hill

My son attends this nursery and I cannot recommend it enough, the staff are amazing and thanks to them he is thriving. The activities offered are brilliant and it's lovely to receive photos and updates throughout the day with regular observations to track his development. The children are encouraged to do what makes them happiest, I love arriving for pick up to see him playing and dancing with friends and staff or in a fancy dress outfit that he has chosen to wear. The menu is brilliant and the chef makes sure she gets to know your child's likes, dislikes and dietary needs and is always free for a chat if things change. The manager is always so welcoming and makes sure she updates parents regularly via the app as well as answering messages quickly. The room sizes are great for the age ranges within them and are always clean and safe for the children, there are lots of toys for the children to play freely with between activities.

The best thing I could have done is send my children to this nursery. Both my children loved it and not only settled but thrived! The staff are brilliant, kind caring, in-tune with the children's needs creating a home from home environment, which puts you at ease sending them in, as you know they are well cared for and will receive ample updates.

We brought our 10 month old daughter at Battle Hill nursery after we saw around 6 other nurseries.

The staff is friendly, kind and most importantly, patient with our daughter, helping her to settle in.

We receive daily notifications of our daughter's progress. Our questions via the app are answered promptly during the day.

There is a detailed itinerary provided in the app, but the lovely staff always tell us in person at pick up, how the day went.

Our daughter eats well so far so shout out to the chef. Food has variety and there are a lot of fruit snacks offered during the day.

Sun cream is also provided by the nursery which is a nice bonus.

So far we are happy with everything but especially the staff !

Tynemouth nursery have been amazing with my son (and my other 2 children in the past) warm welcome, friendly staff who listen and do great hand overs at drop off and collection. Lots of different activities and always looking for new and fun ways to encourage fun play and learning. Outdoor area has lots to engage with. Great communications via the app. You can tell the staff really care about the children and build a great relationship with them. I drop my son off and feel at ease when I drop him off and he goes in very happy and excited which is a credit to them. They have been very helpful with offering advice when asked. A lovely nursery in a lovely setting would highly recommend.

My son and I really like this place. There is a very warm and welcoming atmosphere, staff is very friendly and professional. My son didn't know English language before he started to attend this nursery, but now he is able to sing nursery rhymes, speak a little bit of English and understand English speech. I'm so happy that my son has an opportunity to attend this wonderful place and I really appreciate all things that staff do for him.

My little boy has been coming to this nursery since he was 4 month old, he has just turned 2. The staff helped settle my little one in as well as settle me, they are great with adapting to his needs and my many wishes. My little boy has created amazing bonds with the staff, always shouting for them at home as well as saying bye to them numerous times whilst on the car journey home. The app they use is great to see a little insight into his day whilst he's there seeing how much fun he is having! I love reading the termly reports to see how he is progressing as well as his observations, it really puts my mind at ease, knowing he's in outstanding care! I think all the extracurricular activities whilst he's at nursery are amazing, such as hartbeeps, baby ballet and other extra activities. I can't thank them enough for all their help and how well my little boy has progressed and developed since starting. They've really helped shape him into the funny, adventurous little boy he is today!

The children feel like at home.

My child has attended this nursery from being 8 months old. I can truly say she's enjoyed every moment being there. The staff are caring, friendly and supportive. They go above and beyond to make the children get the best experiences from their time in nursery.

From the second we went for our viewing of the nursery to the present I absolutely love this nursery and its staff. Staff have always very helpful and have been so understanding. The nursery is a lovely size and the activities they put on for the children are great. The sign on the door says 'a home away from home' and without a doubt, I believe the staff here have worked so hard to achieve this. My partner and I have nothing but amazing things to say about this nursery.

My daughter loves attending the nursery and the staff make all the difference. They are incredibly kind and caring, ensuring she feels happy and safe. I'm very pleased with the positive environment they provide.

It's a good nursery!

My son loves coming to nursery, he talks positively about his day at nursery and the activities he does. He is very well looked after and the staff are invested in his care. I wouldn't have my son looked after by any other nursery!

Lovely nursery. My child likes to play with all the kids, they have so many activities. Good stuff.

Food options are great. Children could get out more/provide more outfoor trips/walks in woodland areas/libraries. Excellent for communication.

Our child has been at this nursery since the age of six months and is now four and absolutely loves coming in every day. The staff are brilliant and really have the children's best interests at heart.

I like my son visiting the nursery because he feels at home. I really recommend it.
