Tynemouth Nursery at Battle Hill

Our daughter has been going to Tynemouth Nursery at Battle Hill since she was 11 months old. She's now 20 months old and we haven't got a bad word to say about the nursery or the staff. From her very first visits until now, the staff have been so welcoming to both our daughter and us as parents. The staff are extremely knowledgeable and you can tell they genuinely love their job. They are great at getting to know your child and their routines and doing what they can to accommodate. The communication is great, with the use of the app and through a verbal handover every day. There are a varied range of activities for the children that the staff set up as well as visiting companies. The food on offer is also great. Our daughter is always so happy when we pick her up and we have loved seeing how much she is thriving.

Mason started to TNG when he was six months old, his confidence has grown massively. Mason does a variety of activities and goes on outings which he loves. The staff has supported Mason throughout his time.

Excellent communication and quality of provision, she loves attending the nursery setting and thrives in all areas. Staff are very helpful and make parents aware of any incidents prior to collection.

My child is always happy to go to the nursery. And when I pick him up in the evening, he's always smiling. I feel like he's learning a lot, he gets to do many activities he wouldn't have access to if he was at home. I have full confidence in the staff.

Great staff, kids love it here

Maisie loves coming into nursery, it seems like a lovely environment for her to play and learn. She has come on so well since joining and always loves to come back.

My daughter is looked after and she loves going to nursery. She always talks about the girls and includes their names in either songs or play at home. Very good communication too from nursery and update system.

My daughter has been at Battle Hill for the past year, and I couldn't be happier. The staff are truly exceptional and have created such a warm, nurturing environment. We have seen a massive boost in her confidence and social skills, and she genuinely looks forward to going every day.

Our child has settled in amazingly since leaving another nursery elsewhere. He bounces in every morning, usually forgetting to look back and say goodbye to us!

Staff are attentive, approachable and friendly. Management is fab and informative. Both children love to go to nursery and I would highly reccomend to other parents.

My son has been attending this nursery since April 2025. I have consistently delighted with our experience. From how brilliant the staff are, fantastic communication and high standard they have across the board. They are quick to resolve my issues and keep me informed throughout the day via the app or phone calls. My son has come on so much and has genuine bonds with the staff. The enthusiastic welcomes in the morning get me son running in with a smile on his face. Detailed observations provided allow me to build on his development at home and they are always a joy to read. I am confident about my daughter starting later in the year.

Couldn't thank all the staff enough for how caring and attentive they are to my child and myself! They are absolute superstars. My daughter is thriving in her speech and development, I couldn't fault the whole team. Thank yous so much for being the best teachers to my daughter, wouldn't want her placed anywhere else.
