Genuinely could not have chosen a better nursery in the area to send my daughter to. From her starting back in April 2024 the staff are always beyond helpful and always have time for any queries and questions.
The nursery always has stuff going on for the little ones, whether it be Christmas parties,
craft days, or charity events.
My daughter adores the staff who are in her room and never stops talking about how "kind and funny" they are.
The wellbeing of the children is incredibly important, which is evident from any experience I've had directly.
Meals are a good range and appropriate.
The only negative is the car park, however that cannot be helped due to it's location, with the doctors surgery and pharmacy also being there.

After struggling to find the right fit for our little boy we viewed and attended multiple different settings after the childminder he had said he was too much.
Unfortunately, it was becoming really stressful and upsetting that everywhere we tried just didn't seem right for him and it was leaving me
and my partner really worried about what we would do as we own our own business and desperately needed him to be settled.
We feel like we won the lottery after visiting Marton Day Nursery. The entire team and I won't name names are amazing the culture of inclusivity and how caring they are with every child is truly remarkable to see, they've helped us so much with not just the day-to-day childcare but EHCP and everything else that goes along with having a child with additional needs.
As a business owner, I would be extremely proud if this was my team & can honestly say they never cease to impress us with the time and love they show to our two boys who now attend
Reply from Amy Sutton, Manager at Marton Childrens Day NurseryThank you for a lovely review. We love having both boys here!

This is an excellent nursery, the staff are great with my daughter. I love the outdoor facilities and that the kids have the freedom to run around and explore. They have lots of activities for the children to play with. The meals are healthy and it is all recorded daily on an app for parents to see.
Overall it's a great nursery.

Wonderful school and staff. My daughter has needs that require additional support and this nursery is the first and only place she has felt comfortable enough to thrive. The staff are so patient and understanding! The staff also go above and beyond to make sure children have fun whilst learning.

My daughter has been attending nursery for a few weeks now and she's liked attending. The staff members are friendly and caring and one of the staff members continues to calm my daughter down when she acts up when I will be picking my son up from school. I am grateful and thankful to every staff member
who is included in the care of my child. I recommend.

Our little girl has spent over a year, full-time at Marton Childrens Day Nursery and still returns for holiday club, since starting school, as she loves it so much. The staff are really caring and great fun. She loves the activities and games, indoors and out. Staff get to know the children really well
and are very accommodating and understanding if they're "out of sorts" or feeling tired. Thoroughly recommended.

My son absolutely loves coming to nursery, he has been attending for about a year now and he is so settled. He goes in smiling and is always getting involved in the fun activities that are set up. The members of staff are lovely and always welcoming. The app is always updated throughout the day so I
can check to see what he is doing on the day and what he has eaten etc. while I’m at work. I couldn’t have picked a better nursery for my little boy he really has come on leaps and bounds and has made the most amazing bonds with staff, we can not thank them enough for their ongoing support and care that they give!

My son has only been coming to Marton for a few weeks now, as a single mam who doesn’t really have much support around me, my son formed a really clingy relationship with me and would not go to anyone else. I can already see a massive difference in him all down to the girls here, they have got him eating
much better and sleeping, and most of all socialising with people which he would never ever of done a few weeks back! I couldn’t recommend them enough and I can’t wait to see how much my little boy is going to grow and learn from being here.

Current Review Score: 9.9 (9.948)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.9 (9.948) out of 10 for Marton Childrens Day Nursery is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.9 out of 5 from 37 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 5.0 out of 5 from 37 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Day Nursery is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.948 for Marton Childrens Day Nursery is calculated as follows: ( (422 Excellents x 5) + (21 Goods x 4) + (1 Satisfactorys x 3) ) ÷ 444 Ratings = 4.948
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 5 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Marton Childrens Day Nursery is based on 37 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 20 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 = 4
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the number of registered child places in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 97 number of registered child places is 19.4, which has been reached with 37 Positive reviews. Points = 1
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
