Our experience has been great. The staff are lovely and make a real effort. They have been so welcoming. There are different activities everyday for the children to engage with. Would definitely recommend.

My son has been in baby room since July 2025 and I cannot tell you how great it feels to feel relaxed , reassured and confident your baby is being cared for so amazingly, especially when working all day. We have never had an issue. I always recommend this nursery to friends and family. My only regret is not sending my older son here!

I visited Childsplay Nursery that my Grandson attends. I was very impressed by how happy and engaged the children were, the cleanliness throughout the nursery as well as the staff being very friendly and knowledgeable. Childsplay have a lovely garden environment which my grandson adores. The meals are all made on site with a good choice of menus on offer. My grandson particularly loves their lemon and courgette cake! The staff offer lots of variety for the children ie, allotment, forest school and trips to local areas. I wish nursery's like Childsplay was around when my children were little. My Grandson loves his time here!

Excellent nursery. The staff are lovely and really care about the children. The range of activities the children have access to including indoor toys, painting, story time, song time, gardens etc is fantastic. My daughter really enjoys her time here and we are so happy we chose to send her to Childsplay Claremont Nursery Cooperative. I can't speak highly enough of them.

Childsplay Claremont Nursery Cooperative has helped our daughter in confidence with everything she does. Amazing variety of activities going on, lovely array of toys for them to play with and lovely indoor and outdoor space. Really friendly staff who go above and beyond.

Excellent nursery in every way, I was constantly surprised by how good they are. The main challenge is getting a place there - they are always oversubscribed so do not procrastinate and try to secure a place many months in advance.

Childsplay Claremont Nursery Cooperative is the best nursery around and I wouldn't send my children anywhere else. The stability and consistency of the staff team makes transitions for the children so much easier and they go above and beyond in the care they provide. The food provided is amazing and they are supportive of any special diets needed. The garden is such a special place for the children to play and the extra activities offered (including forest school, allotment, trips into Newcastle) give the children such an exciting and varied experience. The cooperative ethos makes Childsplay such a special place where everything is to make the children's experience the best it can be.

Childsplay Nursery is second to none! The staff are wonderful and have felt like an extended family to us. Both my children benefited from an extremely nurturing and stimulating environment as well as a range of exciting activities at no extra cost to us (e.g., forest school, allotment, inter-generational project). The quality of the food is outstanding as is the outdoor space. A truly magical place for young children! The nursery management is excellent as is communication with parents.

An excellent nursery that my little boy has just finished. Our little girl is just about to start and I wouldn't consider sending her anywhere else. The staff, the ethos, the adventures, and the development of the children are all fantastic.

Our boy was in Childsplay for 2.5 years and loved it every day.

Absolutely amazing in every way. They have nurtured both my boys with the utmost care and dedication. The staff are fantastic and the building has such a warm feeling about it. Incredibly helpful in more ways than I can mention.

My daughter has just left Childsplay Nursery to attend school. We can't rate this nursery and the staff highly enough. I feel incredibly lucky to have had my child looked after by this team. They are caring, nurturing, creative and supportive and my child has had so many opportunities to get involved in great things such as forest school, allotments, poetry sessions, first aid classes, woodworking - the list goes on. Lovely food too.

A fantastic experience with Childsplay Nursery and I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone. My three children have loved their time here, all forming wonderful bonds with their key carers. There is a high continuity of staff who are all dedicated to providing a first-class learning and development environment.

Wow, simply brilliant in every way. My little boy spent 3 years at Childsplay and the staff at every stage are just superb. Management and other staff are extremely compassionate, loving, and caring. Today was the last day of the 2024 batch, they arranged a really beautiful farewell for all kids and parents. Saying goodbyes was really emotional and hard, all because of the love and care they have given to our child.

Finding the right words to express the incredible journey we've had with Childsplay is truly difficult. The manager is an extraordinary person, a gem who deeply cares about both parents and children. From the baby unit to toddlers, then on to the 2-3's and 3-4's, and finally preschool, it has been an absolute pleasure to be part of this journey. With our son's extra needs, they ensured he received all the support possible. They feel like family to us. Beyond the unit staff, both the kitchen and administrative teams are wonderful. Forest school has been such a delight for the kids. I know sending your children away isn't easy, but I can confidently and proudly say that Childsplay is truly unique.

Childsplay is fantastic! It's a caring, creative and supportive community and my daughter loves her time there. The staff are very dedicated and are always developing their skills and practices in new ways.

After having had the best of experiences with all units at Childsplay Claremont Nursery Cooperative for our first child, we have signed up our second child full time as well. The environment is clearly extremely supportive and we can already see the impact the setting has on our son's development. Staff continuously go above and beyond, are extremely well trained, reliable and easy to communicate with. It is also evident that the nursery is run as a cooperative, with a key focus on getting families to contribute ideas and taking part in decision-making processes. One aspect that we started to value more and more over the years is the quality of the food - cooked on site by an exceptional team in the kitchen. The food plan is diverse, staff are extremely accommodating when it comes to special diets and we can always be sure that our children come home having had a balanced diet. Even the fussiest eater has "a little bit to try" of everything.

An absolutely wonderful nursery. We have been so pleased with our experience here. The staff are so friendly and welcoming, providing a fantastic environment for the children and the right amount of reassurance for the parents. All very professional but in an approachable and genuine way. Honestly, couldn’t be happier with Childsplay Claremont Nursery Cooperative.
