Childsplay Nursery offers first rate childcare at a competitive price. Since my daughter started last year in the baby room she has grown in confidence and is now a very sociable toddler. Everyone comments on how much both her physical and social skills have developed and I feel this is due to the very
dedicated and professional staff that Childsplay employ. We get lots of feedback on how our daughter is progressing and the staff listen to us and cater to the individual needs of all the children. I feel that the nursery go above and beyond compared to other nurseries, and I could not recommend Childsplay and their wonderful staff (admin, kitchen, nursery, domestic etc...) enough!

My son has been with Childs Play since the age of 9 months (he is now 3 years old). He has progressed well with the assistance of his keys workers and the staff generally, furthermore he is happy and looks forward to his time within the nursery.

I am very happy with my son's care at Childsplay. He is always happy to go there and loves to go outside and explore the garden, especially since the new features were added. It is great that the children go outside whatever the weather - suitably dressed in puddle suits and wellies. Key workers are
always very engaged with the children. The daily diary is a wonderful of keeping up with his activities, as well as knowing how much he has eaten and slept. Childsplay really encourages the children's independence, and this is demonstrated in the happy, confident children there.

Childsplay was recommended to us by friends whose son had enjoyed 4 years there. After viewing other nurseries we could see the difference at Childsplay. The activities are focused on the children's interests, the staff are extremely caring and engaged, and the atmosphere they create is one of safety
and fun. Our son has been there since he was 12 months old and has developed strong bonds with each of his key workers, as well as a lovely social group of friends. It has been wonderful to watch him develop, and the attitude of the staff towards developmental milestones is unique to each child. A daily diary lets us know what activities have taken place, and regular development meetings discuss progress with the EYFS curriculum goals. Staff have boundless patience and are always happy to discuss any aspect of the child's development. The nursery rooms are stimulating and activities change each day. Outdoor play is always available and is a real adventure playground; our son loves to be outside digging and splashing. The food is cooked onsite daily with fresh organic produce and is devoured! A wonderful nursery with a truly caring ethos that puts the child at the centre of all they do. Cannot praise it highly enough.

Our two daughters are attending this nursery, one in the pre-school and the other in the toddler group. We have the opportunity to experience all age groups from 1 to 5 years except the baby unit (0-1). In all cases, we find the staff very caring and professional. Overall, the nursery is very well managed.
We don't have difficulty of getting kids to nursery in the morning as they are always happy going. They also like the foods in the nursery, which are freshly prepared every day by the kitchen staff. We highly recommend this nursery. It's managed at the highest standard.

Child's Play nursery is outstanding in every respect. The facilities are excellent; the rooms are very well equipped and maintained and the gardens are amazing. The children get to spend a lot of time outdoors doing all sorts of creative and interesting activities. Recently, the nursery used the results
of its fundraising efforts to develop activity areas in the garden for different age groups and interests. It's fabulous and our little one loves spending time there. The staff are superb. They all seem to really enjoy their jobs and take a pride in their work. They are very experienced and work closely with parents to ensure that there is a strong connection between what happens at the nursery and what happens at home. So, they share information by writing up what the child has done that day in a diary and also offer regular review meetings. Most importantly, they are friendly, kind, caring and patient with the children and treat them as individuals. This same approach is reflected in the overall management and ethos of the nursery. Every aspect of your child's experience and development is carefully and creatively thought about. Food, for example, is cooked fresh on the premises every day according to a nutritionally balanced and varied menu. Each day the staff plan out different kinds of imaginative activities for the children making the most of the weather and changing seasons. There are also lots of lovely extra touches - for example, the staff organise a visit from Santa, 'forest school' activities, a summer fete, and family photographs. When my Dad was unexpectedly taken ill this year, the staff helped our son make him a get-well card. It meant a huge amount to me that they went out of their way, unprompted, to do this just for us. As I've probably made clear, we can't praise Child's Play highly enough. It's a fantastic nursery and I definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking for excellent childcare.

It's great. There are lots of reasons to recommend Child's Play, including the amazing outdoor spaces and the creative, exploratory philosophy. But the reason I'm so pleased we chose it for our son (now joined there by his little sister) is the staff. They're universally positive and engaged with the
children and seem to enjoy their jobs, which isn't the case in some other nurseries I've seen. We always feel our two are in safe hands and they've gained so much by being in such a warm and stimulating environment. There are regular reviews where we hear about all aspects of their development, and parents have the opportunity to get involved in the nursery through various co-operative activities.

I am very satisfied of Childsplay nursery in every aspect. Our daughter joined it at the age of 16 months after having attended another nursery since the waiting list for Childsplay (which has always been our first choice) was very long. The difference between the two nurseries is huge and we are extremely
happy of having her at Childsplay. She feels comfortable and spends very happy time there. Her manual and verbal skills are developing very well thanks to the staff expertise and nursery facilities.

My son is very happy to go to preschool in this nursery. He enjoyed the Forest School and daily life in the nursery. He is learning to be independent there. This is a very good preparation for his reception class next year. I am also very happy with the nursery's ethos.

Our 3 year old son has been attending Childsplay for almost 2 years now and our youngest is due to start in the baby room shortly. Throughout his time at Childsplay we have been exceptionally happy with the care that he has received and the support that we, as first time parents, have been given. The
staff are caring and always extremely attentive to his needs. He also adores the food which is freshly prepared by great cooks and he has absolutely thrived on it! When on maternity leave with him I was extremely anxious about him starting nursery. This time round, knowing the caring and loving environment that my youngest son will be entering, I have no such fears. I cannot recommend Childsplay highly enough.

My son started at Childsplay at 18 months after we relocated. His previous nursery experience was difficult so I was anxious as to how he would settle. During his two weeks settling in period, my fears were quickly allayed as the staff were so caring to him and considerate to my fears. In addition,
my little one has a number of food allergies which have always been handled seamlessly and highly professionally. I would recommend Childsplay to any parent looking for a loving, fun and enriching nursery environment for their child.

I knew immediately on my first visit that this was the right place for my son. The staff are so friendly and and tuned into the children's needs and development. He has come on in leaps and bounds since starting Childsplay. His vocabulary is great and it is lovely to watch him develop his social skills-he
loves company and playing with others. He has a great little imagination and loves inventing stories and acting them out. They are served organic fresh food and have the opportunity to play outdoors in the fabulous garden. I had no hesitation in reserving a place for our second child and thoroughly recommend this nursery.

My husband and I could not be happier with or ask for more from a nursery. Our 4 year old son has been there since he was 10 months old and our second child is due to start there next June. From the moment we were shown around we were extremely impressed with every aspect of the nursery and nursery
life and we felt that they could offer our son the very best possible start in life. He has enjoyed nursery immensely from the outset, he looks forward to the days he is going and is often reluctant to leave when we pick him up! He has been given some great opportunities whilst at the nursery including day trips, interesting visitors, French lessons and his personal favourite activity - forest school! The exceptional staff provide a caring and nurturing environment and provide stimulating and enjoyable activities for the children with a real focus on child-led learning. During his time at Childsplay he has become a confident and sociable little boy and has such a wide and varied knowledge of so many things that he has learnt there. The facilities are excellent including an amazing outdoor space which the children love to spend time in. The nursery has a lovely feel about it and a wonderful warm and friendly environment. I feel very sad that my son will be leaving soon and I know he will really miss all of the staff and the special friends he has made too. I am looking forward to starting all over again with number 2 next year and continuing to be part of this wonderful nursery.

My son has attended this nursery full time for nearly 4 years so has been in each room. Having had experience of another private nursery with my eldest son which was a good nursery, I can hand on heart say I think Childsplay is exceptional. The facilities and range of activities and food provided
are excellent but its the staff that really make it what it is. They seem to genuinely enjoy working at Childsplay so it creates a happy caring environment. It also means the staff turnover is very low (I don't think a single one of my sons key carers has left in the 4 years) so its a very stable environment too. They go above and beyond what is required and recognise and accommodate your child's individual interests and needs. I would not hesitate in recommending the nursery to other parents.
