Partou Safehands Day Nursery & Pre-school in Harrogate provides exceptional care and education for babies and children up to the age of five.

The nursery is set in a magnificent Edwardian Building within the Duchy area of the town. The nursery has excellent indoor and outdoor facilities, ensuring that all children have fun and enjoy their nursery day.

Children at the nursery enjoy a wide range of inspirational learning activities covering all aspects of the early years foundation stage, including communication, physical development, and expressive art and design.

Sandhands experienced team hold childcare qualifications, paediatric first aid certificates and safeguarding training. Every team member has an enhanced DBS check and the nursery has CCTV and secure door entry systems for added security.

The nursery provides delicious and healthy meals and snacks, providing children with a wonderful nutritionally balanced diet.

Friendly staff. Large outdoor area.
I have a happy child at drop-off and collection.
Always have plenty of feedback from staff and emails.
Love looking at pictures on the online journal.
Love how they have made friends with the other children.

My son has been at SafeHands for four months and absolutely loves it. He is well taken care of. He’s very comfortable with all staff who make an effort to get to know all of the children, even if they aren’t the usual caregivers for them. He spends lots of time outside, doing messy play and reading/singing.
He always sleeps well there and comes home well-fed.

My girls are always well looked after by the staff at Safehands. My girls love coming to the nursery as they love their key workers! I know my girls are in safe hands when they go to nursery as the staff are always on the ball with them!

Our 1-year-old and 2-year-old have settled in well at Safehands. Thank you to all the team for being so welcoming and kind. We would recommend it to all our friends. We really appreciate seeing the photos you add to the app of the kids doing activities and playing.

Fantastic nursery! My eldest attended here and now my youngest does too! Staff are all so friendly and I love all the different activities they do with the children, my little boy has really come on in his development since starting here and he is always so happy to be at nursery!

We are so happy with our nursery (Safehands). Our little boy loves going there and looks forward to all the different activities they do. We love it when he brings home new artwork he created or new skills he has learnt.
The staff are so helpful and friendly; they really make my little boy feel at
home when he is there.
We are happy with the choice of food he gets, and he is trying lots of new foods.
The staff kept my son's routine he follows at home, which helped him transition from nursery to home smoothly!

I can't recommend Safehands enough! My son has been attending since he was 7-months-old (Jan 2019), and he has loved it from day one. The staff, in particular, are amazing and incredibly welcoming, and always provide a full update on his day when he is collected. The communication is excellent, and
we have always felt comfortable approaching them about any queries we may have. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this nursery to friends and family.

My children love Safehands Day Nursery and are always excited to go! They have amazing bonds with the staff and have great fun whilst here. I have seen my children come on so much since joining the Safehands Day Nursery family and I'm so grateful. The activities are amazing, the outdoor area is fantastic,

Safehands is a wonderful nursery. I have two children that have attended and cannot rate them enough. Staff are amazing and form such a great bond with every child. The setup and safety of children are second to none.
I personally think the empathy and understanding they show is outstanding. I was
having anxiety issues about leaving my youngest child and they made the process so easy for me. Giving regular updates and photos to show how he was settling in and enjoying himself. Just wonderful.

Safehands is a wonderful nursery that provides me with total peace of mind when I drop my daughter off. My boy has been at Safehands for a couple of years, and I have nothing but positive things to say. He skips in each day and is always excited to tell me about his day when I pick him up. A home from home! Any troubles we have in regards to pre-school or nursery, the team are happy to listen and help. Amazing team. Great environment. They have been so professional and kind in welcoming our little son, who just started in January 2021. They clearly take great care of the children, and the children’s well being is clearly their number one priority. When looking around nurseries when my son was a few months old, I was sure that no nursery would be good enough. Until we arrived at Safehands. We were greeted so warmly, given a thorough and professional tour, and all our questions and concerns were answered. Nearly three years later, we are still
over the moon with the care that he receives at Safehands. As he has moved through every room, from ‘Babies’ to ‘Pre-School’, he was been looked after by the enthusiastic and professional staff, engaged with amazing activities and learnt so much. He struggled to settle in at first, but the staff were so caring and patient with him. Now he wakes up every morning and asks if he can go to pre-school.
The manager has done a fantastic job of creating a warm and welcoming environment to be finding an amazing team. She is always on hand to answer questions, and communication with home is excellent.
They’ve been so great at accommodating our son’s vegetarian diet too - I’m always jealous!

Safehands is a fantastic nursery. Having viewed most of the nurseries in the area, Safehands always stood out in the crowd. The staff have supported and guided both my children and my family through many tough moments. The staff go way beyond to help in every possible way. I thoroughly recommend it.

I can't recommend Safehands enough! From the minute my little boy started in September 2020 (aged 7 months), they have done everything possible to go above and beyond in making sure he settled into nursery life. Giving me the reassurance I needed. I've always felt I could speak to the staff and raise
any issues/concerns if I had any (not that I have). At Safehands, I know my little boy's health, safety, wellbeing and development is their number one priority.

Safehands is a great nursery. The staff all really take the time to get to know your child. It is like a home from home, and both of my children have loved going and thrived here as a result. We also love the weekly reviews with pictures, and the children's grandparents enjoy seeing these as well.
