Partou Safehands Day Nursery & Pre-school in Harrogate provides exceptional care and education for babies and children up to the age of five.

The nursery is set in a magnificent Edwardian Building within the Duchy area of the town. The nursery has excellent indoor and outdoor facilities, ensuring that all children have fun and enjoy their nursery day.

Children at the nursery enjoy a wide range of inspirational learning activities covering all aspects of the early years foundation stage, including communication, physical development, and expressive art and design.

Sandhands experienced team hold childcare qualifications, paediatric first aid certificates and safeguarding training. Every team member has an enhanced DBS check and the nursery has CCTV and secure door entry systems for added security.

The nursery provides delicious and healthy meals and snacks, providing children with a wonderful nutritionally balanced diet.

I wanted to leave another review of Safehands as I have just settled in my third baby there. Whilst I was anxious about settling her due to her over clingy-ness that developed due to Covid-19, I couldn't have asked for a more smooth transition. I'm so so happy with how it went. During her first week,
she attended nursery for a few hours on the days she would be going, and she absolutely loved it. The baby room Head of Section is her key worker and she really made me feel at ease during her settling in sessions. I didn't feel rushed at all, and I left when I felt comfortable. As I was leaving, I saw my daughter and her key worker in such a lovely moment - they were both fully engaged with each other and I felt so relieved. She loves going, eats SO much, naps well, and comes out beaming each day. I have been going to Safehands for four years now and couldn't imagine anyone else looking after my children. They really are in safe hands and I'm so so thankful to the whole team.

A fantastic nursery, all the staff make the children feel welcome and involved, the staff always greet you with a positive attitude and a big smile my children love to go to nursery. They have a variety of play and learning with lots of different ideas and tasks to challenge their development and individual
personalities. A fantastic range of healthy home-cooked food, the children are also encouraged to learn about different foods and get involved in baking. Lots of outdoor play and physical activities, overall a very caring environment. At the end of the day, parents are given a review of the children’s day and observations are loaded onto tapestry so we see what they have been doing, parents can also share what the children have been doing at home too. We have been extremely happy and seen our children thrive in their time at safe hands.

My daughter has attended Safehands nursery since the age of 1, she is now 3. She has been settled and happy here from the beginning! The staff are all lovely and nurturing and the environment is safe and clean. As a family we cannot praise Safehands enough, highly recommend.

August was the last month of a very happy three and a half years for my son at Safehands. A wonderful nursery and preschool with outstanding management. I couldn’t imagine sending my son anywhere else when he was that young. They are all more of a family than co-workers and that happiness in the staff
is a wonderful environment for the children. You just know that they enjoy working there. I could trust the staff which was paramount as being a parent that’s the most important thing for us when leaving our babies.

Both my children attend Safehands and have done so since they were very small. The staff at Safehands are incredible and a massive asset to the company, my children are always so so happy to go in, delighted to see their friends and their key workers. They are always doing fun and educational activities
with them and lots of outdoor play which is just great for my little ones and they eat like kings and queens thanks to the fantastic cooking. Couldn’t recommend enough.

My two children have been attending Safehands since they were babies. The nursery has a very welcoming homely feeling about it and the staff are all so lovely and caring.
My children love attending, they settled in quickly and have such fun during their time at Safehands doing many fun activities they
don’t get to do at home.

I cannot recommend Safehands enough! My daughter (nearly two years old) loves it, which is so reassuring and reduces the ‘mom guilt’ when I go to work!

Safehands is a really friendly and happy nursery environment for my two children, ages four and one.
They offer different rooms so that the children are surrounded by similar ages. Nap times are in prams which my husband and I really like as it means our baby has the comfort of her own pram and sleeps
really well. They also get lots of fresh air.
They also have a no-shoe policy which we love as it means the nursery floor appears a lot cleaner.
My older child also has an allergy and the nursery has been good at accommodating his needs.
The staff are all really friendly and caring, and the manager is really proactive and responsive to any queries or issues raised.

Excellent nursery with very welcoming and approachable staff. The staff genuinely care about the children and take the time to build positive and supportive relationships with both parents and their children. My little girl has been happy here from day one, I know how much she enjoys her time at nursery

My child has come on leaps and bounds since starting at Safehands. The team are so approachable and she adores them all. I can’t rate Safehands and the staff highly enough and thank them for making it so much easier to send our little girl to nursery.
