Partou Tiny Teapots Day Nursery & Pre-school is an outstanding nursery in Harrogate for children from birth to five-years-old. The nursery provides excellent care and learning opportunities for children, covering all areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

The nursery’s kind, caring staff provide children with exciting learning activities planned around their individual needs and interests, making sure that learning is always lots of fun. Children are provided with a supportive and positive environment where they can play in a fun outdoor area every day.

The Tiny Teapots team are experienced and highly qualified, with the majority holding a Level 3 or above in childcare, a paediatric first aid certificate and safeguarding training. All staff have enhanced DBS checks, ensuring that families know their children are in safe hands.

Children at the nursery eat delicious, healthy meals and snacks that have been freshly prepared in the nursery kitchen each day. Meals are prepared using locally sourced ingredients wherever possible and the menu can be altered to meet any special dietary requirements.

My little girl started at Tiny Teapots in January 2018. She had had a rough start at a previous nursery which we were not happy with at all and really changed her and her attitude at home and with other people.
Tiny Teapots has changed all that. She loves going to nursery now and seeing her little
face so happy and smiley when picking her up is so satisfying.
Management is above and beyond exceptional and the staff are all brilliant and friendly.
Couldn't ask for a better place or people to look after my little girl.

Tiny Teapots has been a second home to both of my little girls. The refurbished rooms and outside space are welcoming and fresh with lots of learning potential. I love hearing about the educational and fun activities that they have done through the day and wish I could stay for lunch myself!

love the team so much and nothing is too much trouble for the management team who have a “can do attitude” (always helpful when trying to juggle kids and work!)

My little girl has been attending this nursery since she was 1. Over the 2 years that she's been there, she's always been looked after in a safe and stimulating environment. The people who work there are always supportive and caring, the facilities have been updated recently and provide a safe and stimulating
environment for all the children.
The nursery manager is always helpful in any matter.
The food, which is cooked in-house, is always nutritionally balanced and healthy.

We have been delighted with how our daughter has thrived whilst at Tiny Teapots Nursery. We are really pleased with the progression she has made whilst attending. The range of educational themes, such as 'space' and 'super heroes', has given her a wide knowledge base and instilled a certain amount of
empowerment to her personality. The range of outdoor activities was one of the reasons we choose this establishment and this will be further enhanced upon completion of the recent refurbishments. Many thanks to the entire team!

My daughter has been going since she was 9 months old! We both love the place! The staff are great as well as the nursery itself! My daughter has come on leaps and bounds since joining and I am so happy with the way she is progressing! I would highly reccomend to all!

Can’t fault the nursery. We had a very bad experience the first time around with our little boy, so we’re very worried about trying somewhere else! However, we knew he needed to socialise with other children as he starts school in September!
We can’t fault the nursery in Harrogate, it’s amazing! Our
little boy has settled straight away and all I hear is amazing things about him!
They have also been fantastic with his allergies, it’s always a worry for me when someone else cooks for my boys but they have been incredible and catered fantastically to ensure that he isn’t left out and eats the same as the other children!
Fantastic - the staff are also so friendly and welcoming! I couldn’t ask for more.

I can’t praise Tiny Teapots Private Day Nursery, Harrogate enough. From the moment we went to look around we were made to feel welcome. The staff have all taken time to get to know our little boy to help him settle and to make the process less stressful for us too. He always has such a great time and
comes home exhausted which is a bonus too!

The manageress and her team are fantastic and they always try to accommodate as best as they can. They are friendly and understanding to a family's needs. Over the past four years, I have continuously had a child enrolled in their nursery and I have had no complaints. Keep up the good work!

I couldn't be happier with Tiny Teapots. My toddler really enjoys attending and he has a great relationship with all staff members.
At the beginning, choosing the right nursery proved to be a real challenge as my toddler is also on the autistic spectrum.
The manager is wonderful, always attentive
to my child's needs, positive, nothing seems too much or unattainable for her. We communicate very well, she has always been very prompt at solving any issues, I couldn't be happier with her performance and professionalism.
Staff members are lovely, friendly, communicative, really helpful.
The setting is very informative for parents as it clearly displays useful information on safeguarding.
The nursery looks well equipped, always tidy, it has large rooms and corridors.
My toddler is daily being involved in all sorts of activities, he is being stimulated, encouraged to explore and learn.
I am really happy with Tiny Teapots and it totally deserves its Outstanding report.

I have used this nursery for the last 7 years, have always found staff to be extremely friendly and helpful. Manager was flexible when we needed to accommodate changes where possible. Kept fully up to date with children's progress. Good access to wide range of resources.

My daughter has been going to Tiny Teapots for 5 months now and loves every minute there. As soon as we walk through the door I feel welcome as its lovely to see warm smiling faces. My little girl has come on so much in her development, her speech, understanding, sharing also social skills have really
grown. I noticed the rooms and displays are always nice and bright which helps the rooms feel even more welcoming. I know my daughter is cared for well and feel at total ease when going to work.

Our son developed into a well rounded boy, he has had so many different experiences that I would have never given him at home. The nursery has a good outdoor space which allows the kids to develop in all different areas of play, from the mud kitchen to playing house in the Wendy house. The manager and
all her staff are amazing with the children and always plan activities around what the children want eg. my son saw a hot air balloon on the way to nursery and he told the manager and she took all the kids out to see it and talk about it.
The staff have supported me as a mother in all sorts of situations, from me having no sleep and a crying child. They picked me up so I could function to help me develop my son. I love this nursery and I have got my daughter starting in October.

Our daughter has been attending, twice a week, since she was a year old and the manageress and her team are absolutely fantastic. There are 4 age/ability appropriate rooms which the children graduate through as their development dictates Each room is staffed by highly qualified, experienced, long serving
members of staff who have the most amazing ideas/imagination when structuring activities in line with the EYFS framework. All of our daughter's achievements have been recorded, in pictures and words, since she started so we always know how she's getting on and we'll have a lovely memento to keep. Nothing is ever too much trouble and, where staffing and resources allow, the manageress and her team do whatever they can to accommodate our needs. All of the food is cooked from scratch, on the premises, and the weekly menus are really varied. Our daughter is starting school in September and her last day at nursery will be a very sad one but Tiny Teapots have given her an excellent start.

Our son has had a wonderful experience during his time at this nursery. Each class caters for the children at an appropriate level offering a variety of activities throughout each day to maintain interest. The food has always been absolutely outstanding so much so that we have large boots to fill on
a weekend! The staff are excellent, and build and maintain great relationships with the children.

ABOUT ME:
Greetings, I am Claire, and I am the manager of Tiny Teapots. My journey in the field of childcare and education spans an extensive 25 years, and in my ongoing pursuit of knowledge and professional growth, I am currently enrolled in a Level 5 Leadership in Early Years degree.


WHY CHILDCARE?
My passion for working with children began with childminding and subsequently assisting with the running of a church toddler group. These foundational experiences instilled in me the significance of creating a secure and nurturing environment for young children to blossom.


As my career advanced, I ventured into school settings, providing specialized support for teaching and learning. I find great fulfilment in shaping the future of our youngest learners.


In my role as a nursery manager, I am unwavering in my commitment to providing the highest quality care for all children. Each day is a fresh opportunity to establish a safe, stimulating, and nurturing setting where children can explore, play, and cultivate vital life skills. I look forward to the future as I continue to support their growth and development, armed with the knowledge and inspiration derived from my ongoing educational journey.


INTERESTS & HOBBIES:
Beyond my professional life, my personal life revolves around my family. I am a proud mum of three grown-up children who continue to inspire me every day. Additionally, I am a grandparent to a delightful grandson who is two. Watching him grow and learn is a priceless experience that keeps me connected to the endless wonder and inquisitiveness of childhood.
