Partou Tiny Teapots Day Nursery & Pre-school is an outstanding nursery in Harrogate for children from birth to five-years-old. The nursery provides excellent care and learning opportunities for children, covering all areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

The nursery’s kind, caring staff provide children with exciting learning activities planned around their individual needs and interests, making sure that learning is always lots of fun. Children are provided with a supportive and positive environment where they can play in a fun outdoor area every day.

The Tiny Teapots team are experienced and highly qualified, with the majority holding a Level 3 or above in childcare, a paediatric first aid certificate and safeguarding training. All staff have enhanced DBS checks, ensuring that families know their children are in safe hands.

Children at the nursery eat delicious, healthy meals and snacks that have been freshly prepared in the nursery kitchen each day. Meals are prepared using locally sourced ingredients wherever possible and the menu can be altered to meet any special dietary requirements.

I am so happy with Tiny Teapots Nursery!
Being a first-time mum and a student paediatric nurse I was so worried about finding the right place for my daughter so I could finish my studies.
After viewing a few nurseries I was set on Tiny Teapots. The manager is so lovely and welcoming. All the staff
are very friendly and caring.
My daughter started in the baby's room at 10 months. Her key worker is so lovely and my daughter loves her. The handover is excellent and very detailed. Today my 12-month-old didn’t even whinge when I passed her over! It took her a couple of weeks to settle but she is very happy there! Great nursery and lovely staff I would recommend it to anybody.

When I first moved my daughter to Tiny Tea Pots, I was extremely nervous due to a previous bad experience elsewhere. At Tiny Teapots, the new manager and the team listened to everything I was worried about and made my daughter feel so at ease during her settling-in sessions and her first couple of weeks.
The staff have really taken the time to focus on my daughter's strengths, and they've built up her confidence by promoting independence in certain areas, allowing her to be creative and actively learning throughout the day.
Handovers are a strong point, with some lasting as long as 10 minutes depending on if you catch the back end of dinner time or a learning exercise.
I would highly recommend it.

I'm overwhelmed by how lovely this nursery is, my son is 19 months and he has settled in so well. He loves his teacher and his speech already has come along so much more. He is always happy and content. The staff and manager are so present and helpful. I'm so happy with our choice.

My youngest child has attended Tiny Teapots since the age of 10 months. There was a period of time when things were disrupted, with closures and high staff turnover etc, but since the new manager arrived, things have improved considerably. My son now looks forward to coming and is forming bonds with
other children and the practitioners. The staff are always welcoming and seem to genuinely care for the children, tailoring the things they do/play with/read to the individual interests and strengths of the child. Thank you for all you are doing.

Both our children have been to Tiny Teapots (eldest is now at school and one is still there). The staff are first class - extremely knowledgeable and place the well-being of the children at the core of everything they do. There has never been
one day where my little one hasn't wanted to go to nursery.
She enjoys it so much, we even decided to put her in for an extra day! Both our children have very different personalities yet both thrived under the guidance of the manager and the incredible staff.

Tiny Teapots is a fantastic nursery. My little one is so happy there; it is clear he has lots of fun! It is a calm and nurturing environment with lots to explore and learn. He tries all sorts of different foods which inspires me to give them a try at home. I feel my son's individual needs are met and
feel his care is very personal to him. I love looking at his online profile to see what he has been getting up to and the day-to-day handovers are really useful, to know how long he has slept for and how much milk he has had etc. It is clear that the staff work closely together and strive for the very best for every child. I highly recommend this nursery.

Both of our children have attended and it was fantastic when we first joined. There had been a lot of changes through Covid and it finally feels like we're getting back to the good old days. The manager is enthusiastic and constantly tries to make positive changes to make it even better. The one thing
I would say is that other nurseries use an app to record meals, naps, activities etc which I feel would be useful here as we don't get much activity on the app and handovers are often hectic and you don't get a full picture of their day. Such friendly staff who obviously love their job and genuinely care about the children in their care.

Tiny Teapots Private Day Nursery and Pre-school, Harrogate is wonderful. My young daughter gets very excited to go to nursery every morning. You can really tell that the staff love children. I cannot rate the nursery high enough. After going through a hard time as a family, the Tiny Teapots Private Day Nursery and Pre-school, Harrogate team have been like a second family. Their love and support has been incredible and I can’t put into words how much it’s meant or thank them enough for everything
they’ve done. I have no issues leaving my little one at nursery, the team are amazing and the activities and the food are fantastic. I cannot recommend enough.Thank you to all the team. You always have a big smile on your faces, even through the hardest of times, it doesn’t go unnoticed.

My son has grown and developed so much since starting at Tiny Teapots Private Day Nursery and Pre-school, Harrogate. The staff are amazing, they care so much about the children, their interests, lives outside the nursery and it shows through how calm, relaxed and excited my little boy is when he walks
through the door. We often talk about the staff at home on non nursery days! Communication is brilliant through the use of their online learning journal and day to day verbal communication. Overall I am completely reassured that my little boy is getting the best start to his learning journey through Tiny Teapots Private Day Nursery and Pre-school, Harrogate and the staff there.

As adoptive parents to our little girl we had a lot of worries in finding the right nursery for our little girl and we made the best choice with Tiny Teapots Private Day Nursery and Pre-school, Harrogate. They really understand the different needs of every child and our daughter has grown and developed
so much. The activities they do are fun and are aimed at development. My daughter chats about what she has done, who she has played with, what she had for lunch and has so much fun that she can’t wait to go back. My daughters speech and physical development has improved leaps and bounds and that is down to the staff and all their hard work. They have supported our daughter and us through different transitions in her life, such as moving house and have been great through lockdown's, posting online stories so my daughter still felt connected. I would recommend Tiny Teapots Private Day Nursery and Pre-school, Harrogate to anyone. They genuinely care about the children and go above and beyond to ensure the children have the best time whilst learning.

My daughter loves every day in this nursery. She really developed so much, her skills, her speech is much better, and every day she understands more. There are things to be improved, but I can’t imagine any different place for her than Tiny Teapots. Keep up with good work.

I moved my son here after his previous nursery changed management and focused more on decor than on the kids! My biggest wish was that he would have a key person, someone he could build a bond with. He got that in spades with a real connection between him and his key person. He has grown in confidence
and always tells me about his great days. At a time that could have been disruptive for my little guy the staff at Tiny Teapots Private Day Nursery and Pre-school, Harrogate created a comforting environment for him to thrive.

ABOUT ME:
Greetings, I am Claire, and I am the manager of Tiny Teapots. My journey in the field of childcare and education spans an extensive 25 years, and in my ongoing pursuit of knowledge and professional growth, I am currently enrolled in a Level 5 Leadership in Early Years degree.


WHY CHILDCARE?
My passion for working with children began with childminding and subsequently assisting with the running of a church toddler group. These foundational experiences instilled in me the significance of creating a secure and nurturing environment for young children to blossom.


As my career advanced, I ventured into school settings, providing specialized support for teaching and learning. I find great fulfilment in shaping the future of our youngest learners.


In my role as a nursery manager, I am unwavering in my commitment to providing the highest quality care for all children. Each day is a fresh opportunity to establish a safe, stimulating, and nurturing setting where children can explore, play, and cultivate vital life skills. I look forward to the future as I continue to support their growth and development, armed with the knowledge and inspiration derived from my ongoing educational journey.


INTERESTS & HOBBIES:
Beyond my professional life, my personal life revolves around my family. I am a proud mum of three grown-up children who continue to inspire me every day. Additionally, I am a grandparent to a delightful grandson who is two. Watching him grow and learn is a priceless experience that keeps me connected to the endless wonder and inquisitiveness of childhood.
