Partou Tiny Teapots Day Nursery & Pre-school is an outstanding nursery in Harrogate for children from birth to five-years-old. The nursery provides excellent care and learning opportunities for children, covering all areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

The nursery’s kind, caring staff provide children with exciting learning activities planned around their individual needs and interests, making sure that learning is always lots of fun. Children are provided with a supportive and positive environment where they can play in a fun outdoor area every day.

The Tiny Teapots team are experienced and highly qualified, with the majority holding a Level 3 or above in childcare, a paediatric first aid certificate and safeguarding training. All staff have enhanced DBS checks, ensuring that families know their children are in safe hands.

Children at the nursery eat delicious, healthy meals and snacks that have been freshly prepared in the nursery kitchen each day. Meals are prepared using locally sourced ingredients wherever possible and the menu can be altered to meet any special dietary requirements.

I cannot speak more highly of this wonderful nursery and will forever be grateful for the support the entire team have given to my two boys and our family! In particular I want to mention one staff member in particular, who will always have a place in my heart. We joined Tiny Teapots when my eldest
was 3yo and had SEN requirements that were not being supported at his previous nursery (Busy Bees), where he would not engage in group activities, was often unresponsive to staff and would isolate himself from other children. This was not the child we knew, so it was very difficult to hear, and he we were regularly told of extreme "concerns" about the way he was. With the team's support, the transformation was almost instant. He was included, celebrated, supported and given the space to flourish as his own person, in his own time. He has now become the most confident, sociable and chatty little boy in just a year. We will forever be grateful to the staff member mentioned earlier for the time and care she invested in our son. Our little one has been attending for over a year now and he loves it. The staff are all lovely and pay attention to any specific needs you have for your child. They get healthy well balanced meals. The movement from room to room as they get older is well done and a good transition to make sure your
child is happy in their new environment. There is lots of outside play which my child loves. I feel very comfortable leaving my child in the care of the nursery.

Absolutely love Partou Tiny Teapots Day Nursery and couldn't recommend more! My little girl is in the Tweenies Room, she started from 7 months old and is going to be 2 in April of this year. The staff in her room who look after her are just amazing, the activities they do each day, to the love and care
they give my daughter. I'm kept updated throughout the day on the app with what she has eaten and how much. When her nappy gets changed and if its wet or soiled and how long she has slept during nap times, I get sent pictures of her playing, doing activities or learning stories. They also have people who come into the nursery to do activities like sing and sign, baby massage, little gators and even French! The whole staff at Tiny Teapots are so lovely and welcoming and the manager just goes above and beyond! The food is excellent and the menu is fantastic. The nursery is always clean and tidy and well presented. The outside area is spacious and well used by all children. Highly recommended.

As a French family on a year-long fellowship in the UK, we were unfamiliar with local nurseries and had only a short time to find one. During a quick visit to Harrogate, we dropped by Tiny Teapots, where Claire, the manager, warmly gave us a tour, and we immediately felt at home. Our son attended daily
from 9 am to 6 pm, quickly adapting and learning English within six months. His teachers, provided daily feedback on his progress, ensuring we knew about his social and academic growth.
In April, the nursery merged with another, causing some adjustments, especially in the preschool program. Despite this, the manager's dedication kept the environment safe and joyful for our son. The nursery also sent books home, encouraging learning beyond the classroom. Any administrative issues were resolved swiftly through open, understanding communication. Tiny Teapots made our experience in the UK memorable and smooth nurturing, professional, and adaptable nursery we highly recommend.

The manager and the team are lovely and welcoming and you can tell they are passionate about what they do. We only came to Teapots by accident after our other nursery shut, but we are now glad we did as our son is very settled.

Tiny teapots has blown us away by how amazing they are. My little girl is obsessed with nursery. She loves everyone who works there and has come on leaps and bounds since she started in July 2024. Our daughter has been going to Tiny Teapots for about 5 months and she loves it. The first couple of weeks were a bit tricky as she settled into her new routine but now she can't wait to go and barely looks back when we drop her off in the morning. The staff have a great relationship with her, especially
the ones who look after her room regularly, but everyone knows who she is. They also keep us updated with everything we could possibly need to know, including meals and nap time which is really useful.
Our daughter has come on so much since starting nursery and a huge part of that is down to her regular interactions with the staff and other children. Sometimes she comes home and can't wait to show off a new skill, action or dance she has learned.

I have had two children go through Nursery at Tiny Teapots so have been a regular there for nearly 7 years.
I am really sad that our nursery journey is coming to an end as my youngest is due to start school next month. The current manager has really put her heart and soul into this nursery and you
can tell. She really cares about all the children and has been an incredible addition for us. She has become a friend as well. My daughter absolutely loves her teacher in the pre-school room. She is amazing and has really nurtured her. She is a credit to the nursery. I know my daughter is in good hands when she is there and she has made some lovely friends. I can't speak highly enough of our time at this nursery.

My child has been going to Tiny Teapots for over 3 years and is due to leave this month to start school. I can't thank the nursery enough for what they have done for her. She's learnt so much, always has had a great day and even learnt some languages, sign language and skills from Little Gators. All

My daughter has been going to Tiny Teapots since before Christmas. The staff are amazing and work really hard for all the children there. The activities that they do with them are great and not only can I see how far my daughter has come since attending, I can see all the children growing and learning
in her class too.
Initially, I didn't want my daughter to go to nursery but I had to go back to work and so I wanted to choose somewhere that I thought she would love. As soon as I walked around I immediately loved the place and my daughter seemed to love it too. Needless to say, I found leaving her harder than what she did going to Tiny Teapots. She loves it.
I also have to add that the manager is amazing, she has a passion for the job that she does and gets involved around the nursery with the children I can't thank her enough for everything, especially in the beginning when I was a nervous wreck about leaving my daughter.

My experience of Tiny Teapots is highly positive. The staff that care for the children are very caring, hardworking and very good at informing on his everyday involvement. The main person I will give credit to is the nursery manager. She is a true benefit and asset to the whole team. She brings so many
positive things to Tiny Teapots, not only good communication skills but lots of very intuitive ideas to help benefit not only my child but any child under her care. She is understanding and is so professional about the safety of the children and people who should not be on the premises. The team are friendly and efficient.

Great outdoor play area.

I am the mother of a 3 year old who’s been in childcare since 11 months old. I’d always thought of childcare as a necessary pest to allow me to work. I have my own business so not working was never an option. Tiny Teapots is the first time that I have considered childcare to be something more than just

ABOUT ME:
Greetings, I am Claire, and I am the manager of Tiny Teapots. My journey in the field of childcare and education spans an extensive 25 years, and in my ongoing pursuit of knowledge and professional growth, I am currently enrolled in a Level 5 Leadership in Early Years degree.


WHY CHILDCARE?
My passion for working with children began with childminding and subsequently assisting with the running of a church toddler group. These foundational experiences instilled in me the significance of creating a secure and nurturing environment for young children to blossom.


As my career advanced, I ventured into school settings, providing specialized support for teaching and learning. I find great fulfilment in shaping the future of our youngest learners.


In my role as a nursery manager, I am unwavering in my commitment to providing the highest quality care for all children. Each day is a fresh opportunity to establish a safe, stimulating, and nurturing setting where children can explore, play, and cultivate vital life skills. I look forward to the future as I continue to support their growth and development, armed with the knowledge and inspiration derived from my ongoing educational journey.


INTERESTS & HOBBIES:
Beyond my professional life, my personal life revolves around my family. I am a proud mum of three grown-up children who continue to inspire me every day. Additionally, I am a grandparent to a delightful grandson who is two. Watching him grow and learn is a priceless experience that keeps me connected to the endless wonder and inquisitiveness of childhood.
