Partou Tiny Teapots Day Nursery & Pre-school is an outstanding nursery in Harrogate for children from birth to five-years-old. The nursery provides excellent care and learning opportunities for children, covering all areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

The nursery’s kind, caring staff provide children with exciting learning activities planned around their individual needs and interests, making sure that learning is always lots of fun. Children are provided with a supportive and positive environment where they can play in a fun outdoor area every day.

The Tiny Teapots team are experienced and highly qualified, with the majority holding a Level 3 or above in childcare, a paediatric first aid certificate and safeguarding training. All staff have enhanced DBS checks, ensuring that families know their children are in safe hands.

Children at the nursery eat delicious, healthy meals and snacks that have been freshly prepared in the nursery kitchen each day. Meals are prepared using locally sourced ingredients wherever possible and the menu can be altered to meet any special dietary requirements.

I love the nursery. All the staff are very welcoming and friendly. It is nice to know that most of the staff knows my sons name and they are happy to see him when I leave him in the morning. I can see my son enjoys going to nursery every Wednesday. They have a different variety of activities and adapt
to the children's needs.

My daughter has just started and the nursery has been excellent in welcoming her. It is a major transition starting nursery, especially in these times of lockdown, and I really feel grateful we chose this nursery for our daughter. They have gone out of their way to really make sure she settles in and
also reassure us as parents too. Would definitely recommend, and have done to other parents.

Tiny Teapots is just fabulous - the staff are so caring and really get to know all the children, not just those in the room they work in. Our little chap started nursery in the middle of the pandemic, but the settling in process was just brilliant and being able to view the actual setting in person
put my mind at rest that we were choosing the right nursery. The activities the children do keep them busy, learning lots and engaged...and they spend lots of time outside in the fresh air. The manager was great in adjusting our days at nursery when I got a new job and needed different days. Highly recommend!

My daughter started at Tiny Teapots in Sep-19 and she loves it. She has had 3 fantastic key workers (one in babies, tweenies and now toddlers) who actively encourage her development. They eat a varied homemade meal plan and spend lots of time outside which I love. They have adapted well to the restrictions
of Covid-19 and I don't feel my daughter has been affected by the changes. They have a conscientious manager who has a great team behind her.

We love Tiny Teapots. The team are amazing. Our little boy has grown so much with the help of every member of the team. They are so caring towards everyone in their care. Our little boy loves his friends there and the activities as well as his favourite key worker. We would absolutely recommend Tiny

We are so pleased we chose Tiny Teapots to send our daughter to. I was so worried when I left her for the first time as she was really upset but it didn’t take long until she was happily reaching out to be carried in for her breakfast and now she walks in and doesn’t look back. She is always smiling
when we go to collect her and we love hearing what she’s been doing that day. The nursery were amazing throughout the post lockdown reintegration, sending out reassuring emails and being clear on the measures they were taking to protect the children. All the staff are friendly and helpful and whenever I’ve had any questions they’ve been able to answer them and reassure me on things I was concerned about. From the very first time I visited whilst I was still pregnant I had a good feeling about it and I’m so pleased I followed my instinct. It says a lot when the Management team have worked there for 10 years plus. Thanks for looking after my little girl so very well Tiny Teapots.

My son has been at Tiny Teapots for almost a year now! He absolutely loves it and has made so many friends. The nursery workers are always so welcoming and are doing everything they can to make our nursery experience as normal as possible throughout this time! The signs for all COVID and safety rules
are clearly displayed at the entrance and I always feel well informed by the nursery of any changes! I would recommend this nursery to anyone no matter what situation, as they are so understanding and helpful! I cannot wait for my daughter to hopefully join here in the future!

Tiny Teapots have been amazing with my little boy, he started at around 8 months and the staff were very warm and welcoming. We receive regular updates of his development via the learning book app. It's lovely seeing what he gets up to during the day and it's clear he loves his teachers. He is always
happy going into nursery and at pick up as well. I'm always given a rundown of what max has been doing as well as his daily cares given i.e food, nappies, sleep. The team are absolutely amazing, they have a very person-centered approach to my daughter. Se has come on leaps and bounds, she’s grown in confidence. I would definitely recommend Tiny Teapots to others. All of the staff are really lovely and friendly, and the Nursery manager is fantastic, she has been so helpful and taken the time to listen to and help with our individual needs. My daughter has been attending since January, and it is clear that she
enjoys it and has developed fond relationships with key staff. The nursery is always clean, they offer a good range of home-cooked meals, and do so many fun activities with the children. I really like the fact that the staff takes the children for outdoor play most days. An added bonus that fees include nappies, meals, suncream.

I love this nursery. The staff are always so happy and friendly. They make it so welcoming for the child at drop off and collection times. They take the time to get to know the children and each one's needs. Used this nursery for my daughter when she was two, and now my son who is two. They went in
so shy and came out loving it and couldn’t wait to go again. Wasn’t really talking when he started but now he can say at least 10 different 2-word sentences and I know this is because of the friendly help and interaction with others. I love the fact I can log on to his page on the app and see pictures and notes about the fun and things he’s learnt there.

My daughter joined Tiny Teapots at the beginning of March just before lockdown. She continued to attend throughout lockdown and I'm so glad she did. Over the past months, she has grown and progressed in so many ways, learning, confidence, eating, social skills and I think a lot of this is due to attending
nursery, and I think she has really benefitted from being here. The staff are all wonderful and she has a great relationship with them. It's been a difficult and challenging time for everyone and Tiny Teapots have done a wonderful job and I would highly recommend it.

My son has attended nursery from 3 months old and excited to go every morning he attends. He has been in 3 different groups and loved each one. The staff are very caring and my son will often talk about the staff saying they're his friends. The manager is a hands-on manager which is lovely to see and
always has time to talk to you and throughout COVID they have kept us up to date with changes and risk assessments. The activities are different every day and the outdoor area to play is fantastic.

The best thing about Tiny teapots is by far the staff. I feel they have a genuine affection for the children, and I always feel happy in the knowledge that my little boy is not just looked after, but cared for. I have been so impressed with Tiny Teapots. From the introduction days to my son's regular attendance, the staff have been so nurturing and considerate. ABOUT ME:
Greetings, I am Claire, and I am the manager of Tiny Teapots. My journey in the field of childcare and education spans an extensive 25 years, and in my ongoing pursuit of knowledge and professional growth, I am currently enrolled in a Level 5 Leadership in Early Years degree.


WHY CHILDCARE?
My passion for working with children began with childminding and subsequently assisting with the running of a church toddler group. These foundational experiences instilled in me the significance of creating a secure and nurturing environment for young children to blossom.


As my career advanced, I ventured into school settings, providing specialized support for teaching and learning. I find great fulfilment in shaping the future of our youngest learners.


In my role as a nursery manager, I am unwavering in my commitment to providing the highest quality care for all children. Each day is a fresh opportunity to establish a safe, stimulating, and nurturing setting where children can explore, play, and cultivate vital life skills. I look forward to the future as I continue to support their growth and development, armed with the knowledge and inspiration derived from my ongoing educational journey.


INTERESTS & HOBBIES:
Beyond my professional life, my personal life revolves around my family. I am a proud mum of three grown-up children who continue to inspire me every day. Additionally, I am a grandparent to a delightful grandson who is two. Watching him grow and learn is a priceless experience that keeps me connected to the endless wonder and inquisitiveness of childhood.
