Daisy Chain Childcare Rothwell

My daughter loves nursery and is often found copying what she has done at nursery at home. I always know when she has had French or Pyjama Drama as she comes home telling me exactly what she has learnt. The staff are all lovely and really care about my daughter.

A wonderful nursery run by wonderful people. My child is so very happy and it's clear through his development how well he is doing. The food he gets is balanced and nutritious. When I pick him up I am told of all the fun and structured day he has had.

Absolutely fabulous place!

My son loves this Nursery. He has built a strong bond with his key worker. Staff very friendly. The nursery provides different activities like French lessons or music class that my son really enjoys. Happy with this nursery, sad he has to leave.

My sons are 3yrs and 19mth with the 3 year old attending since just after his second birthday, and the 19mth old since he was 11 month. Both boys love going to nursery and love all the activities they do there, as well as all the foods they get. My youngest has some food allergies and the nursery have accommodated for this really well. Both kids regularly have two portions of their lunches (even when its food that the little blighter refuse to eat at home). Both boys are in their second rooms now and the staff were brilliant in helping them transition. The on-line Tapestry tool is really great and we love seeing the photos that are posted.

If there is one thing that Daisy Chains seems to excel at (beyond all other areas that they are also brilliant at), it is the quality of the staff in all the rooms. They are all amazing and seem to genuinely care about each child.

I love this nursery. They take very good care of my son. The staff are very polite and helpful. They always welcome my son and I with a smile. Good management. They have a lovely environment too. Will recommend them to everyone.

Our daughter absolutely loves it at Daisy Chain, she has attended since she was 10 months old. The staff in each room know her by name and are very friendly, they do a fantastic job looking after her, as parents we have never worried about how she is getting on as it is clear to see how much she enjoys it. The food is very good and the menu is changed weekly, our daughter often has two portions! She loves all the extra activities that they do, including pyjama drama, French class and the music class. The online tool Tapestry is fantastic, we love seeing the photos that are posted and reading the reports. We already have a place reserved for our other daughter when she is old enough to attend. We would highly recommend the nursery.

There is a fantastic outdoor play area, they have music classes and French lessons and that's on top of all the other activities they get up to, i really cant recommend this nursery enough and the communication is great with regular updates.

My daughter has been attending Daisy Chain for over 2 years. Her progression through the different rooms has been seamless, and she has formed good relationships with all the staff on her journey. All the staff know her by name and she loves going. We have never had a problem with her refusing to go to nursery; recently she has complained when we've picked her up early! I have noticed a lot of changes in my little girls development; she is more sociable and every day surprises me with what she has done and learnt. The annual sports day is fantastic.

I can not praise the staff enough, to do what they do, always smiling and full of energy. They are amazing.

Both my sons have attended Daisy Chain since age 1 and have received consistent high-quality care. The staff in the rooms are always warm, attentive and enthusiastic. They know my sons so well as individuals. Several activities are offered; play, creative, cooking. Last week I walked into Elves with my son after breakfast to find an inspiring range of activities - one staff member was sitting with a group making dinosaur masks, another rolling out homemade play dough and a third table had an inviting set up of small animal toys! Children were also involved in free play of their own initiative. The atmosphere was welcoming and stimulating for my son inspiring me to post this review! There isn't free access to an outdoor space but the children play out a lot in the private park area and access the school field during holidays. Healthy meals provided. I had a difficulty with changing day but management took time out to resolve this completely to my satisfaction. My sons have blossomed here!

My daughter started with Daisy Chain in October 2015 aged 12 weeks. I was apprehensive about enrolling her so young as she was the youngest child in her room. Some 5 months down the line, I couldn't be happier. She attends nursery 3 days a week and absolutely loves it. The staff are excellent and clearly enjoy their job. They show a genuine affection her and I feel comfortable that her needs are met at all times. They find innovative ways of engaging her in activities both independently and alongside the older the children. Not only has the nursery been exemplary in their care of my daughter, they have supported me through the challenging early months of motherhood. They have provided vital support in introducing my EBF child to a bottle and now together we are crackling the exciting challenge of introducing her to solid foods. The quality of the food is excellent (it puts my cooking to shame) and It's great to know my daughter is receiving homemade meals during her early months.

I would highly recommend this nursery.

Since 2011 I have had a child at nursery and our experience has always been positive, friendly helpful staff, building strong relationships with my children to the point where they shout out the staff members names through the night! Daisychain introduced a 'stamp per mouthful scheme' at dinnertimes, when one child went through a particularly fussy eating phase, great idea and worked really well. Due to a house move we swapped to a more local alternative outstanding nursery but after 1 month we moved the children back to Daisychain. It was not a patch on Daisychain, due to activities done in a day and all the extras offered; music, pyjama drama, zoo lab etc. You don't realise what you have until it is gone. We love Daisychain Rothwell.

Both my children adore all the staff at Daisy Chain. They are caring, considerate, affectionate, professional, knowledgeable and experienced. They have a clear daily structure and aim to meet the varying needs of all children while adhering to the EYFS curriculum. The methods of communication are excellent, particularly now with the online system and the additional function to allow communication from home to share learning experiences. Excellent indoor and outdoor facilities. Excellent range of foods with a regular menu update to support season produce.

My daughter absolutely loves going to nursery and I often find her role playing activities and events that have happened at nursery. She frequently talks about what she has been doing and loves looking at her pictures that are done on an online profile. This has also helped get an understanding of the activities that she undertakes and how these promote her development and skills. I love the fact that she came home with French words after having a French session. The staff are lovely and really care about my child. My son also attended when he was little and they frequently ask how he is getting on. I love the fact that the meals are varied and she gets to try foods that she wouldn't necessarily get at home. Her confidence has really developed and I attribute this to the nurturing that the staff have given her to become a confident child.

A very good nursery with keen, enthusiastic staff. The ladies in the rooms are a credit to the nursery. Facilities excellent. Variety of activities excellent.

I couldn't be happier with Daisy Chain. The staff are incredible, the facilities are brilliant, my little boy especially loves the outdoor spaces. The activities are varied and fun. The staff give each child so much love and attention. I'm completely at ease leaving my son in their care. Full 10/10 shiny gold star, I love Daisy Chain!

I especially like the events that also take place there including sports day. Overall it is a great place to attend.
