My daughter has been looked after at Daisy Chain since she turned 1 last year. She loves it there, the team at Daisy Chain were so reassuring to me, it was the 1st time she was away from me and my husband for full days. It didn't take very long for her to settle in, she was clearly happy. My husband
and I love getting the photos and updates through the parents' app, as well as an update when collecting her at the end of the day. She comes running out of the nursery to me with a beaming smile. She gets to do so much more at nursery than she would at home with me. She also gets to interact and develop with more people and become a well rounded happy little girl. I don't think the team could do any more than they do and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this nursery to anyone who was looking. I will be very sad for her to leave, due to my location to the nursery.

Fantastic nursery. My little boy loves going. The staff are amazing with him, always super informative about his day. I love the email updates and seeing what he is up to throughout the day. I would highly recommend it!

My son is well cared for, he enjoys going to nursery and learns new things every day.

Unfortunately, I only have 200 words, not enough to express how much both of my children have (and still love) Daisy Chain. The staff are amazing, the activities are rich and engaging. The nurturing that my daughter gets is so beneficial to her and is a huge contribution to the amazing little girl she

The staff create a really welcoming and friendly environment that make parents and children feel comfortable and safe. My kids have been happy here, enjoying the variety of stimulating and educational activities. We like the way we are kept informed and enjoy the photos and diary updates. We love how
often they use the outside spaces as well. The food seems to go down really well, and the catering team seem equally passionate.

A fantastic nursery. Both my children love Daisychain in Rothwell. The inside space is very well set out, and the outdoor play area is brilliant. All the staff are friendly, warm and caring and grow brilliant bonds with the children in their care. There is a real focus on development of children, whilst
doing this at the child's pace, and in fun an inventive ways which appeal to each child.


The food/menu is well thought out, home cooked and the children really enjoy it.
I would highly recommend Daisychain Rothwell.

I cannot talk highly enough of Daisy Chain in Rothwell. I visited a lot of nurseries and childminders and always seemed to find a fault but as soon as I viewed Daisy Chain I just fell in love with it. The staff are amazing with my twins and the children love them. They are bringing them on massively
and I have no worries at all when I am at work, I know they are 100% in brilliant hands with the nursery staff.
They update me constantly with their progress and activities they have been doing which is great and makes working life so much easier.
All the staff are friendly and extremely professional but most important genuinely care for the children they look after. It's just lovely. And I'm very grateful for all they do.

My son attends the nursery 4 days a week and absolutely loves it. He looks so forward to attending and will regularly ask me on a Saturday and Sunday if he can go!
The staff are wonderful and I feel so lucky that I know I am leaving him safe and well cared for when I go to work!

I must be honest I was a bit apprehensive when my granddaughter first started at nursery at 10 months old as you hear so many horror stories but I needn't have worried. Now at 22 months old, she couldn't be happier. The standards at Daisy Chain are excellent, all the staff are excellent and there's
always a welcoming smile when I pick her up, I'm told everything she's done since she's been dropped off, what she's been doing what she's had at meal times and what she's eaten or not eaten. Even though she's a young age they do a lot of educationally based activities which my granddaughter loves. They give the same attention to all the children, I can't praise them enough.

Our child was at Daisy Chain from April 2015 to August 2018. I cannot praise the lovely staff and management here enough for their support and kindness during our time with them. Our child has an allergy, we received excellent and very personal support from management, care staff and the chef. Management
in-house and externally have always been very approachable, courteous, likeable and helpful. The ladies that have looked after our child were fantastic and honestly felt like extended family, we already miss them all. Dropping off and collecting our child was always a pleasant experience and a big part of my day. We did have a few behavioural issues to deal with, common in young boys I suppose. The staff were brilliant at implementing systems which we could replicate at home to help us with this. Also, the learning/education that our child received here has been fantastic and he is very well primed for school now. A massive and heartfelt thank you to everybody at Daisy Chain Rothwell

I could not be happier with the care my daughter receives at Daisy Chain Rothwell. She always has a big smile on her face when we are greeted by her key person in the mornings and is great hearing about all the activities she has enjoyed throughout the day on collection.
The staff are friendly, professional
and really know my daughter's likes, dislikes and have supported her development greatly.

As a first-time mum, I was very anxious about my return to work and my daughter starting nursery at 8mths old, the staff were very well welcoming, friendly yet professional, informative and supportive and could not have done more to put my mind at ease.


I was amazed at how quickly my daughter settled

and has developed a lovely bond with her key person.


I feel I am well informed and I love the photos sent on tapestry so I can see what she enjoys doing, she always appears to be happy and thoroughly enjoying the great activities on offer.


I would highly recommend Daisychain Rothwell, I cannot praise the staff enough for the fantastic job they do.

Helen

Helen Stoner

Job Title: Nursery Manager Joined: 2002

Helen is the Nursery Manager at Daisy Chain Nursery in Rothwell and has been there since it opened in 2002. Helen qualified with an NVQ Level 3 in Childcare and Education in 1995 and has gained experience working with children aged from birth to 11 years, in private day care and out of school provisions. Helen has had several roles within Daisy Chain re-joining Rothwell as Manager in July 21.


Throughout her career in childcare, Helen has attended many training courses to enhance her skills and professional development, she now holds a level 4 qualification in Management of Health and Social Care Organisations. Helen finds her job very rewarding and is passionate about giving children the best possible start in life by offering a warm, friendly, stimulating environment that supports children’s individual learning.
