This nursery is excellent. Our daughter, who is 2, loves going. The daily reports really help to show the varied activities she does during the day along with sleep and toilet patterns. The menu is superb, and she eats well every day from a varied offering. The staff are all lovely, and the staff within
her room are brilliant. She is fully supported in her development and has made wonderful progress. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this nursery to others and glad we chose it for our daughter.

I have had two children attend Daisy Chain Nursery in the last four years and have only had wonderful experiences with the nursery. The ladies who look after our children there are fantastic and put so much time and energy into allowing them to enjoy themselves and learn at the same time. My oldest
child recently moved onto school in a seamless process, of which, I credit a lot to the nursery for getting her prepared well and ready for big school. The app is a great tool and used to show parents what the children have been up to in the day, which is lovely when you are out and about working to see. I cannot credit the staff more, and the kids certainly love going.

We couldn’t recommend Daisy Chain enough! The staff have been caring, helpful and professional and our son loves it there.
They do lots of messy play which he loves and he is always super happy when he returns home.

Daisy Chain (Rothwell) is amazing, I don’t have one negative thing to say about the nursery. The staff has been amazing with my child, she loves going to nursery so much. As a parent, I couldn’t ask for more, every time I drop my child off I am happy knowing she is happy. They teach her so much, she
is well advanced for her age group. The communication between staff and myself is really good, they are always lovely and always available.

Both of my children have attended Daisy Chain Childcare Rothwell and I couldn't speak more highly of it. The team are fantastic and a great support to both children and parents. My daughter attended for over 4 years and left more than ready for the move to school and with fantastic memories of her time
with her friends and the staff at Daisy Chain. My son started attending just before Covid and despite the adjustments that have had to be made has settled fantastically and is keen to get through the door every morning. It's great that the staff are consistent as it helps them to develop a real bond with the children that they care for. I highly recommend this nursery.

My daughter has been looked after at Daisy Chain since she turned 1 last year. She loves it there, the team at Daisy Chain were so reassuring to me, it was the 1st time she was away from me and my husband for full days. It didn't take very long for her to settle in, she was clearly happy. My husband
and I love getting the photos and updates through the parents' app, as well as an update when collecting her at the end of the day. She comes running out of the nursery to me with a beaming smile. She gets to do so much more at nursery than she would at home with me. She also gets to interact and develop with more people and become a well rounded happy little girl. I don't think the team could do any more than they do and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this nursery to anyone who was looking. I will be very sad for her to leave, due to my location to the nursery.

Unfortunately, I only have 200 words, not enough to express how much both of my children have (and still love) Daisy Chain. The staff are amazing, the activities are rich and engaging. The nurturing that my daughter gets is so beneficial to her and is a huge contribution to the amazing little girl she

The staff create a really welcoming and friendly environment that make parents and children feel comfortable and safe. My kids have been happy here, enjoying the variety of stimulating and educational activities. We like the way we are kept informed and enjoy the photos and diary updates. We love how
often they use the outside spaces as well. The food seems to go down really well, and the catering team seem equally passionate.

A fantastic nursery. Both my children love Daisychain in Rothwell. The inside space is very well set out, and the outdoor play area is brilliant. All the staff are friendly, warm and caring and grow brilliant bonds with the children in their care. There is a real focus on development of children, whilst
doing this at the child's pace, and in fun an inventive ways which appeal to each child.


The food/menu is well thought out, home cooked and the children really enjoy it.
I would highly recommend Daisychain Rothwell.

I cannot talk highly enough of Daisy Chain in Rothwell. I visited a lot of nurseries and childminders and always seemed to find a fault but as soon as I viewed Daisy Chain I just fell in love with it. The staff are amazing with my twins and the children love them. They are bringing them on massively
and I have no worries at all when I am at work, I know they are 100% in brilliant hands with the nursery staff.
They update me constantly with their progress and activities they have been doing which is great and makes working life so much easier.
All the staff are friendly and extremely professional but most important genuinely care for the children they look after. It's just lovely. And I'm very grateful for all they do.

My son attends the nursery 4 days a week and absolutely loves it. He looks so forward to attending and will regularly ask me on a Saturday and Sunday if he can go!

Helen

Helen Stoner

Job Title: Nursery Manager Joined: 2002

Helen is the Nursery Manager at Daisy Chain Nursery in Rothwell and has been there since it opened in 2002. Helen qualified with an NVQ Level 3 in Childcare and Education in 1995 and has gained experience working with children aged from birth to 11 years, in private day care and out of school provisions. Helen has had several roles within Daisy Chain re-joining Rothwell as Manager in July 21.


Throughout her career in childcare, Helen has attended many training courses to enhance her skills and professional development, she now holds a level 4 qualification in Management of Health and Social Care Organisations. Helen finds her job very rewarding and is passionate about giving children the best possible start in life by offering a warm, friendly, stimulating environment that supports children’s individual learning.
