Daisy Chain Childcare Rothwell

It’s the first time we’ve ever used a nursery, and Daisychain Rothwell has been amazing! The staff are always so welcoming and friendly and are always there to help with any questions I have. I’m a first time Mum, so I’ve had so many questions and worries whilst my little girl has been at nursery, and the staff have always been on hand to make me feel at ease and to reassure me that everything is ok. We love the nursery so much we have recommended it to our neighbours who have a new baby, and they’ve signed him up to start next year. Massive thank you to all the wonderful ladies at Rothwell. Our baby girl has learned so much since she started in July and continues to surprise us every day. Thank you!

My daughter has been going to Daisy Chain in Rothwell since she was a year old. She’s now nearly 2, and since joining the nursery, she has come on so quickly. Her speech, personality and her intelligence have massively improved since going to nursery. The manager and all the staff are fantastic. I never felt I could hand my baby over to anyone, but these guys made it so easy for me to do so. They are all so kind caring and just the sort of people I want to look after my girl. I would highly recommend this place to anyone, and I’m so happy I chose Daisy Chain for my daughter.

Daisy Chain is a fantastic nursery. From the moment my daughter started there, aged 2, she’s thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The staff have always been really welcoming and helpful, and have provided a rich environment for my little girl to grow and develop in. Daisy Chain makes great use of the app to show me what she’s up to during the day, and she is always coming home with pictures of things she’s made. We will both find it hard when she eventually has to leave to go to school. I would thoroughly recommend them as a nursery. It’s always hard as a parent to leave a child (especially at first), but I’ve always felt comfortable leaving her there knowing she will get cuddles if she needs them and be distracted by plenty of activities. That’s all you want as a mother. In addition, they have been flexible if I’ve needed to reduce or increase her days (I’ve changed my mind a few times due to work)!

I highly recommend Daisy Chain.

I can’t recommend Daisy Chain at Rothwell enough. It’s a small, very homely nursery, and all the staff know the children and their parents, even if they’re not directly caring for that particular child. Everyone is very caring, enthusiastic and interested in the development of your child. They even direct activities to meet their particular interests. My son has had a lot of time off with illness, and they always welcome him back with enthusiasm and help him settle back in. Communication with parents is also very good, with daily feedback and monthly newsletters. Their response to the Cvid pandemic has also been very good - putting the required safety measures in place, whilst keeping things as ‘normal’ as possible for the children. A really lovely nursery!

To be able to feel trust in someone else looking after your first child is something I thought would be extremely difficult - but after meeting the team at Daisy Chain Rothwell, it was pleasantly easy to know she was in good hands. She’s safe and even loved! And she learns so much too. I am so happy to feel great about sending her to Daisy Chain, and I’m completely blown away by the quality of care she receives. What a positive difference in our lives it makes - thank you.

The staff are fantastic. They find activities, new experiences and things to motivate my son, which are centred around his interests. The nursery has provided information and reassurance which helped with the return after lockdown, which went well.

This nursery is excellent. Our daughter, who is 2, loves going. The daily reports really help to show the varied activities she does during the day along with sleep and toilet patterns. The menu is superb, and she eats well every day from a varied offering. The staff are all lovely, and the staff within her room are brilliant. She is fully supported in her development and has made wonderful progress. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this nursery to others and glad we chose it for our daughter.

I have had two children attend Daisy Chain Nursery in the last four years and have only had wonderful experiences with the nursery. The ladies who look after our children there are fantastic and put so much time and energy into allowing them to enjoy themselves and learn at the same time. My oldest child recently moved onto school in a seamless process, of which, I credit a lot to the nursery for getting her prepared well and ready for big school. The app is a great tool and used to show parents what the children have been up to in the day, which is lovely when you are out and about working to see. I cannot credit the staff more, and the kids certainly love going.

They do lots of messy play which he loves and he is always super happy when he returns home.

Daisy Chain (Rothwell) is amazing, I don’t have one negative thing to say about the nursery. The staff has been amazing with my child, she loves going to nursery so much. As a parent, I couldn’t ask for more, every time I drop my child off I am happy knowing she is happy. They teach her so much, she is well advanced for her age group. The communication between staff and myself is really good, they are always lovely and always available.

Both of my children have attended Daisy Chain Childcare Rothwell and I couldn't speak more highly of it. The team are fantastic and a great support to both children and parents. My daughter attended for over 4 years and left more than ready for the move to school and with fantastic memories of her time with her friends and the staff at Daisy Chain. My son started attending just before Covid and despite the adjustments that have had to be made has settled fantastically and is keen to get through the door every morning. It's great that the staff are consistent as it helps them to develop a real bond with the children that they care for. I highly recommend this nursery.

My daughter has been looked after at Daisy Chain since she turned 1 last year. She loves it there, the team at Daisy Chain were so reassuring to me, it was the 1st time she was away from me and my husband for full days. It didn't take very long for her to settle in, she was clearly happy. My husband and I love getting the photos and updates through the parents' app, as well as an update when collecting her at the end of the day. She comes running out of the nursery to me with a beaming smile. She gets to do so much more at nursery than she would at home with me. She also gets to interact and develop with more people and become a well rounded happy little girl. I don't think the team could do any more than they do and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this nursery to anyone who was looking. I will be very sad for her to leave, due to my location to the nursery.

Fantastic nursery. My little boy loves going. The staff are amazing with him, always super informative about his day. I love the email updates and seeing what he is up to throughout the day. I would highly recommend it!

I get pictures of him throughout the day updating on his progress and what he’s been up to. Which is the highlight of my day.

My son has recently started attending Rothwell Daisy Chain and absolutely loves it!! The staff are fantastic and he has come on loads I such a short time period.

Unfortunately, I only have 200 words, not enough to express how much both of my children have (and still love) Daisy Chain. The staff are amazing, the activities are rich and engaging. The nurturing that my daughter gets is so beneficial to her and is a huge contribution to the amazing little girl she is. Daisy Chain is a safe, caring and wonderful place for all children to grow and I wouldn't change it.

The staff create a really welcoming and friendly environment that make parents and children feel comfortable and safe. My kids have been happy here, enjoying the variety of stimulating and educational activities. We like the way we are kept informed and enjoy the photos and diary updates. We love how often they use the outside spaces as well. The food seems to go down really well, and the catering team seem equally passionate.
