Daisy Chain Childcare Rothwell

The nursery is excellent and they have made my little boy very welcome.

I must be honest I was a bit apprehensive when my granddaughter first started at nursery at 10 months old as you hear so many horror stories but I needn't have worried. Now at 22 months old, she couldn't be happier. The standards at Daisy Chain are excellent, all the staff are excellent and there's always a welcoming smile when I pick her up, I'm told everything she's done since she's been dropped off, what she's been doing what she's had at meal times and what she's eaten or not eaten. Even though she's a young age they do a lot of educationally based activities which my granddaughter loves. They give the same attention to all the children, I can't praise them enough.

Our child was at Daisy Chain from April 2015 to August 2018. I cannot praise the lovely staff and management here enough for their support and kindness during our time with them. Our child has an allergy, we received excellent and very personal support from management, care staff and the chef. Management in-house and externally have always been very approachable, courteous, likeable and helpful. The ladies that have looked after our child were fantastic and honestly felt like extended family, we already miss them all. Dropping off and collecting our child was always a pleasant experience and a big part of my day. We did have a few behavioural issues to deal with, common in young boys I suppose. The staff were brilliant at implementing systems which we could replicate at home to help us with this. Also, the learning/education that our child received here has been fantastic and he is very well primed for school now. A massive and heartfelt thank you to everybody at Daisy Chain Rothwell

The staff are friendly, professional and really know my daughter's likes, dislikes and have supported her development greatly.

As a first-time mum, I was very anxious about my return to work and my daughter starting nursery at 8mths old, the staff were very well welcoming, friendly yet professional, informative and supportive and could not have done more to put my mind at ease.

I was amazed at how quickly my daughter settled and has developed a lovely bond with her key person.

I feel I am well informed and I love the photos sent on tapestry so I can see what she enjoys doing, she always appears to be happy and thoroughly enjoying the great activities on offer.

I would highly recommend Daisychain Rothwell, I cannot praise the staff enough for the fantastic job they do.

The nursery is a lovely environment and always feels warm and homely. I would defiantly recommend Daisy Chain to other parents and can't speak highly enough of them.

I have seen a change in her development already and she has only been going for six weeks. I would most certainly recommend them, all staff are very attentive and it’s very reassuring to me when I leave as I’m confident she’s in the best hands.

As Grandparents, it was extremely important for us that the nursery he went to (four days/week) provided him with love, care, interest, enjoyment, and stimulation. I was nervous that he would be spending four days at nursery at such a young age but I was very quickly surprised/delighted when I could see how happy he was. Daisy Chain fulfilled that for us and our Grandson. The staff there are amazing and he loved spending time with them. He has learnt so much and developed so many skills, many of which would have been developed at a slower pace had he not attended. Each child is dealt with on an individual basis and the staff clearly put the child first in the activities they undertake and the way they get to know the children. I picked our Grandson up most Fridays and was made very welcome by all of the staff who took time to talk to me about his activity. I cannot thank you all enough for all you have done for him - we will miss you all very much.

My daughter currently attends this nursery as did my son. He enjoyed himself so much and was so well looked after that I had no doubt about placing my daughter here too. My daughter started attending at 6 months old. Whilst it was upsetting to leave her, I knew she was being well looked after - the staff are friendly, helpful and build a rapport with every child. Through the day I can look online at secure photos uploaded by the nursery of my daughter having fun getting involved in all the different activities provided and when I pick her up, I get a detailed information sheet of what she has been doing, including what food and how much she has eaten, number and length of naps, etc.

The staff have been a great with weaning too, always following my lead. My daughter requires a dairy free diet and nursery have fully supported this (including ordering special products).

My daughter has developed so much since starting at Daisy Chain. I would have no doubts in recommending this nursery.

My daughter has settled really well at Daisy Chain. They always make me feel at ease when my daughter is in their care. The staff are always really friendly, welcoming and very informative. My daughter loves her key worker and attending nursery which is the most important thing to me. I would recommend them to anybody looking for a nursery in the area.

My little boy has been at the nursery for nearly two years, and my older boy attended another branch of the same nursery. The staff are warm and welcoming which was always a top priority for me, knowing he's well cared for and happy.

Our son has attended Daisy Chain Rothwell since just after his 1st Birthday and he absolutely loves it. The staff are fantastic, which is very reassuring to know, he is in good hands while we are at work. The range of activities is very good, and we always get an update of what he has been up to at the end of the day. We love to see the pictures and updates on the Tapestry app - it's great to see the action shots of him enjoying himself. Our son is shortly about to turn 2, it's now great to see him starting to make friends with the other children in his room.

I have 2 children at Daisy Chain in Rothwell and they both thoroughly love going to nursery. All of the staff genuinely care about every single child and go out of the way to help them to develop. The facilities are great and love that the kids come home shattered and dirty after having so much fun learning new things.

Myself and my son love Daisy Chain. I feel at ease leaving him in the capable hands of the Daisy Chain team. He gets to do so many creative activities and his nursery teachers write down everything he has done throughout the day including meals, activities and nappy changes. He gets to play outside which he really enjoys. I love how they are always making things for events in the year. It really is a joy bringing him here so thank you for being fantastic!

The key workers in his room are engaging constantly with the children and encouraging them to try new things. There is lots of activities undertaken through the day which my little boy loves and is developing very quickly through the play activities. His key worker is very hands on and I feel happy leaving him in her care. He has already developed a strong attachment to her in the couple of weeks since he started and I believe this is because she engages with him and he feels safe knowing she is there.

All members of staff have been great and my daughter always comes home smiling. Happy father, Thank you all.

My daughter has enjoyed attending this nursery since she was 18 months old, the staff are lovely and have all worked hard to build a relationship with my daughter. The menu choices are brilliant and I feel my daughter eats a wide range of different healthy meals whilst at the nursery. Would recommend Daisy Chain to anybody!

Both of my sons have attended Daisy Chain Rothwell since 2011. My eldest absolutely loved it and grew both in confidence and character with fantastic carers looking after him in and engaging and safe environment. It was a natural choice for my eldest to attend as well, and he also loves going, he has founded some real bonds with his carers and thrives in a lovely environment. I know when I am at work he is having fun and with his friends and learning and developing well.

Great nursery and the staff looking after my little boy are very warming towards him, especially the times he is unsettled. Gives me peace of mind leaving him at nursery.

He is a very shy boy and his speech is delayed, which as a parent is causing natural anxieties. I would prefer more contact e.g. parents evening or meeting to discuss what we as parents can do so, we are all working together. Last review was in the pixies room.

Overall, the staff we have had dealings with, are amazing especially one young girl in particular in the Elves room who has taken him under her wing.

The manager has tried to facilitate where possible, in extra nursery days and trying to sort the days for our son's free hours. Thank you, it is really appreciated.

I only wish we could put him in extra days as it certainly does bring him on in leaps and bounds.

I would definitely recommend this nursery to others.
