Absolutely love Daisy Chain, the staff are incredible with the children and nothing is too much trouble. My little boy has a great day, with a huge variety of activities to keep them entertained whilst learning.

Our daughter has been at Daisy Chain Rothwell since January last year and has come on leaps and bounds. The team are all so great, their bonds with the children are wonderful to see. The nursery has been very accommodating of our daughter's needs and are really helpful and easy to communicate with.
I feel so comfortable that she is really well looked after and am grateful for everything they do.

The nursery nurses at Daisy Chain Rothwell are amazing, they have supported our son to become more confident in social settings. The girls always welcome the children with big smiles on their faces. From the moment he started they have made us feel comfortable with leaving him in their care. They are
always doing so many lovely activities, which we love seeing on tapestry. We feel the nursery is really inclusive and we would highly recommend Daisy Chain Rothwell.

The Nativity show for Elves was fantastic. Lovely to see all the children participating and having fun. Costumes were lovely and the tea and mince pies were a nice treat after the production. I look forward to next year’s.

The team at Daisy Chain are caring, professional and work so hard preparing fun activities which are both creative and tailored to kids' emotional, physical and psychological development.
My daughter's key workers have always been fantastic and they have gone above and beyond so many times to support
my daughter's development; making adjustments wherever necessary to make her feel more comfortable.
Meals are well-balanced and my daughter loves the food the Chef creates!
My daughter loves each day at nursery and I can see such a huge difference in her confidence and eagerness to learn.
It is also so amazing to receive baking, drawings and crafts so often.

My 3-year-old and 1-year-old both attend Daisy Chain in Rothwell. Both settled really well into nursery and despite a few changes in staff, they have both been lucky enough to have excellent key workers who have taken the time, care and attention to build wonderful bonds. Both children engage in a variety
of activities at nursery - including French! You can tell a lot of thought goes into the children's learning. Their achievements are highlighted with 'star of the day', which is a wonderful celebration and confidence booster. The staff are simply excellent, which was clearly demonstrated in the planning and presentation of their first nativity. Thank you for being such a big part of my children's first years.

Both my daughters have loved attending Daisy Chain Nursery in Rothwell. The staff are simply outstanding and the nursery is run extremely well. Even when we moved home further we had no hesitation in sending our younger one to Daisy Chain in Rothwell. The staff take utmost care of all the children and
are incredibly hard-working and dedicated to their jobs, my daughter has built a wonderful relationship with her key worker and other staff in the setting. They went above and beyond to help my daughter through the initial phases and to help her adjust to the setting, more recently they took additional steps to help her out with communication and to encourage her to overcome her anxiety in speaking up. Her progress has been incredible and can only be attributed to the amazing effort put in by the nursery staff. We are so thankful for the wonderful job that they do, we made the best decision by sending both our children to Daisy Chain, Rothwell!

Love love love this nursery. My son has attended this nursery since January 2023. From his very first day when I sobbed all the way home and they called within half an hour to say he was absolutely fine, to today, helping him with his potty training, the staff are amazing. Staff are kind and loving
towards him and have always supported his development. All the staff across the rooms know his name and it’s clear he loves to be there. His care log is always up to date, my son does a range of activities every day and eats like a King! There are no issues with parking when doing nursery runs and it’s a good location to get to on motorways to work etc.

A brilliant nursery with caring and knowledgeable staff. My child’s key worker is always on hand to answer questions and the staff are friendly and attentive. We have full confidence they (the child) are in the best place. The food is always fresh and you can see the chef make it each morning when we
take the child in. The equipment is great and well used including the playground. The only small point would be for them to update the app with more pictures. We get a daily care diary which is great but would love more candid updates on them.

Daisy Chain is an outstanding nursery. My oldest attended only 2 days a week and yet the development we saw in her with just that time was incredible. My youngest now attends 5 days. Diagnosed with Selective mutism she struggled to form bonds and speak to people, but her key worker and every single
staff in Daisy Chain went above and beyond more to ensure she felt safe and secure. I now have a bubbling happy child who has taken leaps and bounds in her steps to talk, all because of the efforts taken by the nursery and the incredible staff. The facility, learning, food everything is just fantastic. Can’t fault anything! Brilliant and excellent staff and setting.

Both my children have loved attending Daisy Chain Childcare Rothwell. The staff are incredibly caring and go above and beyond to ensure that children are well looked after, and challenged according to their abilities. There is always a friendly smile and hugs for the children. The extra activities that
take place such as French lessons, and football classes allow children to try new things.
We cannot praise the team at Rothwell enough. Thank you!

Our daughter has settled in seamlessly to nursery and this is a testament to the staff's warm and caring approach. Our little girl loves the planned activities and it is lovely to see these shared on the app. She equally enjoys the freshly prepared meals while sitting with her friends.

Daisy Chains has really helped my little one settle so well so quickly. My son attends three days a week and in this short space of time, I can see already how much he has developed and grown. The staff give good feedback about his day and he has already developed bonds.

The team at Daisy Chain are fantastic. Since my son has started nursery his development has really come along. His key worker always updates the portal with information about his day and pictures. My son is so happy to see his carers in the morning and that says enough for me.

My little boy adores the nursery and has such fantastic relationships with all the staff in his room. The variety of activities he does on a daily basis is brilliant - so educational yet fun and age-appropriate. He also loves his little trips into the community. The communication with parents is excellent

Overall, the nursery has been great. All the staff are very friendly. Our key worker is just brilliant; she is flexible to our needs, on the ball and deals with any issues promptly. Although, a couple of concerns in the first couple of weeks, we feel the nursery and key worker have dealt with this perfectly.

Helen

Helen Stoner

Job Title: Nursery Manager Joined: 2002

Helen is the Nursery Manager at Daisy Chain Nursery in Rothwell and has been there since it opened in 2002. Helen qualified with an NVQ Level 3 in Childcare and Education in 1995 and has gained experience working with children aged from birth to 11 years, in private day care and out of school provisions. Helen has had several roles within Daisy Chain re-joining Rothwell as Manager in July 21.


Throughout her career in childcare, Helen has attended many training courses to enhance her skills and professional development, she now holds a level 4 qualification in Management of Health and Social Care Organisations. Helen finds her job very rewarding and is passionate about giving children the best possible start in life by offering a warm, friendly, stimulating environment that supports children’s individual learning.
