Daisy Chain Childcare Rothwell

Daisy Chain have been great right from the first visit. The nursery is full of people who obviously care greatly about the children beyond their role. They spend time and effort putting on lots of little extra touches to bring joy to their days. They are also clearly knowledgeable about child development and active at sharing what's happend in the day so you feel involved.

Daisy Chain Rothwell is a wonderful, welcoming and inclusive place. From the moment I bring my son for drop off, there's smiles and friendly greetings from all staff I pass. The team in his room are excellent. They radiate a warmth that makes us both feel welcome. I know he's in safe hands and is truly cared for. I especially like being able to check how he's doing on the app and the updates I receive when I pick him up. It's great to hear about what he's been up to and how his interaction and activities relate to his key areas of development. We're very glad we picked this nursery!

Daisy chain is a wonderful nursery. My children's key workers Ella (Elves) Kim and Julie (Imps) have built trusting relationships that make my children feel safe and cared for. It is a warm environment that feels like a home from home. They offer opportunities throughout the year for families to engage with the nursery community including their annual Sports Day. As a family, we couldn't be more grateful towards all staff for their inclusive attitude and for always championing my SEND child.

From starting in August 2023, our daughter has loved it here. She settled in really well. All the staff are so lovely and she has bonded well with her key workers and other staff there, including Shannon, Toni, Ella and Lisa. They always keep us upto date with her progress, and I love that they include family in the events they hold, like fathers day, mothers day, sports day, easter, Christmas. We will be sad to say goodbye, but we take away some wonderful memories, and are grateful for everything you have done for our little girl.

I would recommend this nursery over some bigger ones, and you can trust your little one is in safe hands.

My daughter has been going to Daisy Chain since she was a just over a year old. We had settling in sessions which really put me at ease and all of the staff were so lovely and answered all of our questions. I have recommended this nursery to friends and would recommend to anyone. All of the staff are lovely and even staff in other rooms know your child's name and say hello/goodbye. My daughter was assigned a key worker, Megan, who she absolutely adores and we get updated on what our daughter has been like that day when we pick her up. She really loves going and settled really quickly and I enjoy looking on the app to see what she has been up to. It's good to see what she has eaten too as nursery provide a good variety of meals and tell you how much they have eaten

I have nothing but praise for Daisy Chain. Every single member of staff has always been friendly, kind, caring and professional. My daughter has always loved nursery and each and every team member who has cared for her. I love that even though she has a key worker, the whole team have an overview of her day and can give me an update on how her day has been. As she has progressed through the rooms, she hasn't been immediately forgotten from the former room - the team from her baby room, still say hi, interact with her and genuinely care about how she is getting on. There's been times she has needed additional care and there has never been a problem with providing this, if anything the staff have gone above and beyond to reassure me she gets what she needs while at nursery. I couldn't recommend Daisy Chain enough.

We are so grateful to the nursery team for creating such a warm, happy, and caring environment. It's clear how much dedication and kindness goes into supporting the children every day, and it truly makes a difference. A very special thank you to my child's key worker Denise In the Pixies room for the love, patience, and attention she shows she even mentioned changing her start time as my boy has been upset and unsettled on drop off and sends me photos to reassure me my boy as settled in time and throughout the day which I appreciate a lot. Siobhan as also been a big help in caring for our boy and helping him settle. Knowing my child is cared for so thoughtfully gives us great peace of mind, and we deeply appreciate everything you do to help them grow and feel secure. Thank you all for the wonderful care and support.

Our little boy is cautious and can be shy but in his time at Daisy Chain he has become so much more confident. Everyone at Daisy Chain continues to help him develop and make sure he has fun whilst doing so. Thanks so much!

This nursery is like a home from home for my little boy. I can tell he is genuinely loved by everyone at this nursery and would recommend it to anyone wanting a comforting homely environment for their children.

We have had a great first month; our child settled in fantastically which has been enabled by having such great staff that clearly really care about the children. The food is great and we can see development already in our child's eating - trying more new foods & feeding themselves better. The rooms feel homely with lots of toys and the activities the children do seem varied but also educational, while also developing fundamental skills.

We couldn't be happier with Daisy Chain, Rothwell. All staff show such genuine care for the little ones, and you always receive a warm welcome at drop-off and pick-up. The nursery is colourful and fun, and our 3-year-old loves his days there. There's always a chance to play outside and all the play spaces have been so well thought out to keep the kids busy all day! Couldn't recommend it more!

The staff at Daisy Chain have been fantastic with our baby as he's started nursery. They have been very welcoming and supportive as he has settled in and he is enjoying the wide range of food and activities they are providing. He's learning new skills and it's comforting to know he is developing well and trying new things with the support of the Daisy Chain staff

We couldn't recommend daisy chain enough, we intially wasn't going to put our child into nursery but due to a change in circumstances we had to and we couldn't have hoped for a better environment for our child. First of all they were so helpful getting us in last minute with the days they had left available, the settle in session was lovely and our little one took to the nursery and the staff instantly which was reassuring. Throughout, the staff have remained informative, helpful and professional, even walking through the nursery to our child's class room other staff member of the older rooms know his name and say good morning to him which I think is lovely. The menu selection is great with different things all of the time and even offering the recipes on the app used to monitor your child's day. As first time parents who was sceptical about nursery at first it has been an absolute breath of fresh air.

Daisy Chain Childcare Rothwell is an amazing nursery! THe feel upon walking in the nursery is immediately homely. We are greeted by all members of staff and I just know I am leaving my daughter in really good hands. My daughter's day and updates on development are shared through the app which is updated daily. I always feel happy after visiting Daisy Chain Childcare Rothwell which is lovely.

Daisy Chain Childcare Rothwell has provided good settling-in sessions and follow-up sessions if required. The atmosphere is always friendly and welcoming with management and key workers, all fully aware of our child and us. The care in the room is excellent and our child has been made to feel safe and loved away from home. Activities engaging and the food is varied. Communication of our child's day is great with regular updates on the app and verbal updates. It's amazing to see our child thrive in such a wonderful environment. Thank you.

Daisy Chain is an excellent nursery. Our son, age 4, has attended the nursery since the age of 12 months and our daughter attended from age 3 (having previously been at another nursery) until starting school. The staff are first rate. Our children were helped to settle quickly and formed strong and secure bonds with their key workers. The nursery is a reasonable size, but all the staff seem to know all the children and the children know and are confident around all the staff. The nursery environment is calm (no mean feat with a room full of pre-schoolers) and nurturing. For the older children there are regular engaging organised activities (music, football, etc.). The staff also make a great effort to give the children new and interesting activities within each room. The staff have also gone above and beyond in organising special events - a nativity, sports day, leavers prom, etc. Most importantly, our children have been very happy here and that has helped them thrive.

Even though I'm not there all day, my son always comes home happy after a day at nursery and that tells me everything I need to know about his care whilst in there.

Great childcare service and great staff. Our daughter has been in this nursery since she was 11 months old until now. She has positive experiences. She loves every single day at nursery. She bonded with her key workers so well, also friends. We love how they work with our daughter and keep us informed about everything. We love how they care about every detail of our daughter.
