Fantastic nursery, great staff, my child's key worker is brilliant (as well as all the staff in the room/s). The warm up period was really effective and helped my son acclimatise to his new surroundings. Management are very friendly and supportive to our needs.

I would recommend this nursery to all family and friends.

Our son is now 4 years old, diagnosed with ASD at the age of 2, he is a happy kid but very much into his own world which makes him vulnerable to being ignored and neglected without an adequate setting and a well prepared staff who are willing to go the extra mile to help in the development of our kids abnormal behaviour.
After moving our son through 3 different nurseries who did not meet his needs with the last one being a brand new, state of the art nursery, we realised that it was more about the carers, communication and accommodating the needs.
Asquith Moortown Pre-School and Day Nursery were the first nursery to understand these needs and far exceed our expectations on different levels.
The managers have been amazing, they are organised, friendly, approachable, understanding and proaxtive in looking after our son first hand. They are well aware of our son's needs and invest a lot of time and effort into the surroundings and fine details.
Everyone is aware of our son's condition and needs in the nursery, they are so good as a team. especially when looking after our son when his key person is not there. (One of the main issues we had in previous nurseries.) That includes the nursery since SENCO who was present in all meetings related to our son's progress.
Our son's key person is one of the best things that has happened to him, they immediately connected and bonded thanks to her enthusiasm and loving attitude towards our son. She has been to a few courses facilited through the the nurse and has been a cornersone in developing his communication skills using picture expression and intensive interaction.

In conclusion, we feel that Asquith Moortown Nursery has made a huge difference in our son and our lives.

My daughter has attended Asquith Moortown for over 2 years and I am very happy with the care provided. The staff make an effort to know each child individually and to understand their specific needs and as a result, my daughter has formed strong bonds with staff, enjoys going to nursery and is making great progress. I have been particularly impressed with the changes made by the new manager and deputy manager. They have implemented a number of very positive initiatives such as the lending library, new whiteboards with information regarding each child's (anonymised) learning needs and coffee and pastries for parents in the morning to raise money for charity. Staff are friendly and welcoming and I receive regular updates regarding my child's progress and changes within the nursery. I would not hesitate to recommend Asquith Moortown, especially as the opening hours are the best in the area for working parents (07.30-18.30) and the fees have recently been reduced!

I have two children at the Nursery. The oldest is about to ‘graduate’ to school having been there since she was 8 months old. We all feel like part of the family and most importantly the girls are very happy there. Staff are enthusiastic and have been really helpful.

I’ve been particularly impressed with pre-school, where activities are varied (swimming, yoga, French, themed days, healthy living) and the staff are patient and support learning. There is a focus on helpful behaviour and manners which we value. My daughter had some mild issues with her speech and one of the staff members has spent one-to-one time helping her through this.

Asquith Moortown Pre-School & Day Nursery is a well resourced, well managed, friendly nursery. My son has been at the nursery for 3 years now and I have just enrolled my second child. The staff go above and beyond on a regular basis to make sure children are happy and settled, they will do whatever it takes to make sure children feel safe and loved. The learning environment is amazing, especially in preschool. Imaginative, creative and enthusiastic staff engage children in all areas of learning through their play and follow the children's interests. They make the children feel valued and take time to get to know them properly. it is an expensive nursery but I can't imagine sending my children anywhere else.

This is a wonderful nursery. The staff are really caring and incredibly well organised. I feel very confident leaving my daughter here and she thoroughly enjoys her time here. My daughter has developed really close bonds with both the staff and the other children at the nursery.

I have been sending my son to Asquith Nursery for a year now and I am so pleased with my decision as it is one of the best things that could happen to my son. He loves the staff and enjoys his time and is also fussy to come back home sometimes. He is looked after very well and the feedback I get every day helps me understand what he has been up to, what he has eaten and his sleeping schedules. He has become such a strong, confident and clever boy thanks to you guys!

I cannot recommend Asquith Moortown highly enough. The management is excellent and they have a great team of staff who genuinely care about the well-being and development of the children. The settling in process is fantastic and the team are so supportive of parents as well as the children.

Everyone is friendly and welcoming. I would encourage anyone looking for a nursery in North Leeds to visit Asquith and see for themselves that it is by far the best nursery in the area.

Teachers are very friendly, polite, approachable. Professional staff, smiling at all times. My daughter looks forward to going to nursery and she has built a good relationship with one of her teachers. Teachers are pleasant and as a parent, I am happy as I receive feedback for my daughter's progress. The other thing that's outstanding, they also write care plans for prescribed creams or meds, very impressive. Teaching is brilliant.

My daughter started at the nursery 18 months ago. The settling in sessions made her feel secure and enabled her to feel more at ease. My daughter formed a good relationship with her key worker which in turn made her feel more confident with other staff and develop friendships with other younger children. Her language skills have improved which I believe is the work done at nursery.

Staff and managers are always welcoming and have an open door policy whatever time of the day. They are always willing to discuss my daughter's progress and share information as required. I would have no hesitation recommending Moortown nursery.

My daughter started nursery when she was seven and a half months. She took a while to settle but when she did she absolutely loved it. It's hard to keep her entertained at home now! She has learnt how to eat (herself), crawl and now is standing all because of the support she has received during her time here. It is a lovely nursery with trustworthy staff and she loves it!
