Nuffy Bear Day Nursery Cottingley

My son feels happy and confident at the nursery and that is due to the care shown by the staff. You couldn't ask for more attention to be shown to your child's learning and emotional needs.

Lovely nursery, all staff fantastic and my daughter has loved her time here.

Children are well cared for and staff take a real interest in the children's home life.

Very good facilities and variety of benefits for the whole family through Nuffield. A friendly and supportive environment which has enabled and encourage opportunities to learn and develop still.

I have found the nursery to be friendly and welcoming. The staff are wonderful with the children and my son has flourished during his time here. His confidence has grown and his ability to make friends is evident in his experiences in life. I would highly recommend the facility and will be sorry to leave for school in September.

Overall very happy with Nuffy Nursery, my son's learning and speech have come on so much since being here. He's learning to become independent now he's moved to the bigger room.

My son has been attending for just over a year, starting in the baby room at 11 months. I feel comfortable with the induction and settling in days. I love reading the records re: my son - very detailed. The meals are healthy and exciting and varied. My son has developed great relationships with all staff and other children too. He has developed rapidly thanks to Nuffy Bear Day Nursery. Only thing I would prefer is better technology ie app with updates/FB page with pics. However, very happy and would recommend.

My daughter has been going to Nuffy Bear Nursery since she was 9 months old, she is now nearly 2. She loves going, she runs in and is happy to see everybody. The staff are very caring and supportive. My daughter has recently moved up into the next room and the transition has been very smooth. I have one happy little girl. Thank you!

My daughter has been going to the nursery since she was 3 months old (now 1yr old) and she has absolutely loved it. I have always felt comfortable leaving her as the staff are all so caring and lovely and my daughter adores them . Such a safe caring environment.

A really welcoming and stimulating environment for my daughter to learn in. I have been more than happy with the care and attention she has been given during her time here. It is always hard to leave your child in somebody else's care but I have never felt worried about leaving her and my daughter is always happy and excited to see her 'friends'.

Both my children have attended/are currently attending Nuffy Bear Day Nursery Cottingley and have developed and extremely enjoyed the supportive and nurturing environment offered by all staff. The nursery has recently been taken over by Nuffield itself. As a result, there has been a complete refurbishment of all nursery rooms. This has provided a brighter and more open environment for the children. Nuffield are introducing a focus on children's physical development with their new learning/development planning and offering sessions such as swimming lessons to pre-schoolers or baby yoga as part of their weekly activity programme, which is great. I believe they are also offering free gym membership to parents of full-time children, which is an added bonus. The environment is stimulating, with continued improvements. Staff have been flexible and accommodating. There is a new focus on providing more nutritional meals (with the input of a dietician). My daughter enjoys attending and receives enough stimulation and learning/development opportunities to keep her engaged and busy. Overall, a promising nursery which is still implementing changes and improvements with the Nuffield takeover.
