Nuffy Bear Day Nursery Cottingley

Amazing Nursey would recommend and the staff is amazing. My daughter loves going there and she loves it. I will be happy that she’s in a settled place where she feels safe and happy.

Our son has settled into the baby room so well and the staff have been amazing with him. His development has been great and the environment is very welcoming. He can't wait for the summer months to be able to play in the outside space and go for more walks around the lake.

Sensible approach when a child is unwell.

All the staff are very kind and friendly, and they do a fantastic job of looking after my son making him very happy at nursery. Every day he's there he learns more and has a fun activity to do and I think they do a fantastic job.

My daughter has been attending Nuffy Bear for the past two years, and my 14-month-old for the past three months. They both love all the staff at Cottingley, and they are all so incredibly supportive. They all always have a smile on their face, which makes drop-off that little bit easier! The staff work so hard in helping the children learn and develop through guided play, independent play and conversation. Any points in my little ones' development that I have been working on at home, I have mentioned to the staff, and they implement ways to help them at nursery, which is definitely helping with their progress. They all go above and beyond for the little ones, and it is reflected in how happy they are at nursery. Thank you to all the staff at Cottingley for all your hard work.

My daughter joined at 10 months and she’s now just over 2 - she is so excited to go every week, she squeals as we enter the car park. They do so much everyday! Staff are great, communication is really good. The rooms, equipment and whole environment is spotless - would highly recommend.

My little boy started when he was 6 months old and I was very nervous about him settling in. The ladies were absolutely brilliant with him and now one month later he is all smiles during drop-off and pickup! I am kept updated by the app and I get photos and videos throughout the day so I can see what he is doing which really helps calm my mama nerves down!

Lovely grounds. The pond makes for great walks and my daughter likes spotting the geese that nest here each year.

My son's individual needs are met, and I would absolutely recommend this nursery and preschool to other parents.

Good nursery, very friendly staff. My daughter had two tough weeks settling in but the staff were very patient and now she loves coming to nursery.

Our son has always enjoyed his time at Nuffy Bear. We looked for a nursery which could offer our child lots of activities because he is always on the go! He has attended for 2 years now. Recently, the manager and staff have been working super hard to get a good Ofsted following a shocking result from a previous inspection. As a parent I was shocked at the result because I know that my child is very happy there, so felt the previous result was an unfair reflection. Ofsted result now is good following a recent inspection and this reflects the environment. The staff really care about the children, plan lots of activities to keep them entertained and the food options are very good. Our son has some allergies and the nursery work with us through the process of elimination and tailors his diet accordingly. He is always happy to go to nursery, has made some lovely little friends and loves the staff, in particular his key worker. Great little nursery.

The staff in the baby room (and other rooms) are really lovely and take the time to always update me on my son's progress. My son is extremely happy and well looked after. Since my son started at 8 months old he's progressed wonderfully. I always enjoy talking to the staff to see what he has been up to each day.

Excellent Care. Kind and attentive staff. Individualised care plan, activities plan for each child. Lots of opportunities for parents to engage in activities happening at the nursery.

My son has now been coming to Nuffy Bear Day Nursery for over a year, he always walks in with a smile on his face and it is clear to see he is well cared for. All of the staff show a passion for the job and clearly care for all of the children. We are always kept up to date with his progress and he has developed so much in the last year with their help and support.

We think Nuffy Bear is fab! The staff are friendly and caring and the children are encouraged to explore and be independent. I especially like that the food is healthy and nutritious.
