Partou Ashmoor Day Nursery & Pre-school

Fantastic nursery, all the practitioners are so lovely and caring towards my little one. Wouldn’t trust anyone else with him. Excellent value for money for the care and attention he receives. Home cooked meals three times a day. What more could any child want.

Our daughter started nursery at 9 months old and has received nothing but love and care from her workers at Ashmoor. She has progressed so much, so quickly and we can’t not give credit to Ashmoor for assisting in this development.

Ashmoor Private Day Nursery and Pre-school, Shipley is a friendly, welcoming environment set in a lovely building with a super garden. It retains the family home feel even though it’s a business, which has always been important to us. Both our daughters attended or currently attend Ashmoor Private Day Nursery and Pre-school, Shipley and have loved it. We find the staff are brilliant, they clearly care about the children a great deal and are professional in every approach. I’ve often said that I’d like my daughter's keyworker to actually be my keyworker too. Although we can’t enter the building currently due to restrictions, I enjoy the interaction with my daughter's carers at pick up and drop off. They have handled new restrictions and guidelines so well in my opinion. It feels like, with the manager at the helm, the place is doing really well, she always makes time for parents and I can only imagine it’s been really hard of late but that has never come across. Really looking forward to a time when hopefully we can venture into the garden or nursery again for pickups.

Amazing nursery and staff. My little boy loves going to Ashmoor and especially loves the huge outdoor play area. He’s come on so much since starting and his confidence has grown. Would definitely recommend.

Ashmoor is a wonderful nursery. All staff are attentive and there is a real homely feel. My little boy loves going and comes home well cared for. The meals offered are exceptional and the stimulation and various activities on offer make for a well rounded wonderful experience.

Ashmoor is fantastic. Our son gets on so well with his key worker and it is obvious that she genuinely cares and is interested in his progress. All the other staff are also excellent and it has made the transition to nursery so much easier for us, knowing that our son is in such capable hands.

Ashmoor has provided my daughter with a wonderful environment to grow. She started in their baby room and is now in pre-school. She is always excited to enter the nursery, and when we arrive to collect her she always has a smile on her face and lots of stories about her day. The staff are incredibly kind, nurturing and supportive; it feels just like leaving her with family. The large garden allows the children to spend a great deal of time outdoors, in all weathers, which my daughter loves. Indoors, they participate in a wide range of activities designed to stimulate their interests, allow for fun and exploration of a range of topics, and educate the children about the world around them. They tailor activities to the children’s current interests and are happy to link these to things we have done at home. I would not hesitate to recommend Ashmoor and am excited for my new baby to begin her journey through the nursery later this year.

My child has gone to Ashmoor for over a year now and loves it. He always has so much fun and comes home chatting away about his day. He has different dietary needs and Ashmoor have been more than competent in providing what he needs with meals made separately.

My daughter has settled in so well to Ashmoor, she’s joined pre-school recently and all staff have welcomed her with open arms making it a safe and fun environment. She loves it! The food is wonderful and such a good range of activities and facilities.

Both my children attend Ashmoor and they are both so settled and happy there. The nursery staff are all lovely and friendly and I have noticed a huge difference in my one-year-old since he has been going to nursery with his development. My eldest is leaving this year to go to school but has made some lovely friends and his confidence has grown, I know he will be sad to leave. I can say that I have noticed a huge improvement in all areas since the current manager joined and I feel that I am kept up to date on everything. The team at Ashmoor have worked extremely hard especially over the last year to ensure that our children are safe and happy and that we are able to leave our children with peace of mind that they are cared for.

The staff and setting here are absolutely brilliant. They have supported us every step of the way with the medical, emotional and developmental needs of both our children. The information given by staff is always detailed at the handover and they obviously know the children well and their interests. I would recommend this nursery to anyone!

Kind- hearted, helpful, attentive staff and management, always make us and our child welcome. Meals are nutritious and a variety of fresh fruits are available. A huge, impressive garden with lots of space to run. Our son likes the teachers, the place itself and is always happy to go there. Sometimes he would love to stay there much longer. You are amazing and your efforts are very much appreciated.

My twin girls started here nearly a year ago at 9 months old. I will admit that I was quite nervous about leaving them but they have fit in really well. The staff know what they are doing and have helped them come on with their development. My girls enjoy going and have created some special bonds with staff members which puts my mind at rest leaving them. I wouldn't take them anywhere else.

Great nursery, our daughter looks forward to going and we have noticed how much she is learning and making friends.

My son started attending this nursery when he was 18 months. He settled in very quickly and has moved into the different phase rooms well. The management and staff are all friendly and approachable. The wide range of activities in the phrase rooms are age-appropriate and keep all the children busy and stimulated (indoor and outdoor). The food is fresh and healthy, meeting varied dietary requirements. The nursery welcomes parents/families to open mornings/afternoons or Saturdays depending on themes. A quick daily update is great with detailed consultation offered every term. My son loves attending nursery. A fabulous start to his education journey. Thank you to all the staff for making it an enjoyable experience. Keep up the outstanding work.

My child can’t wait to go and hides when it’s home time. He asks to go to nursery on the days he doesn’t attend which tells me a lot.

Wonderful nursery, my little one has been thriving there since I returned to work. All of the staff are incredibly warm, friendly and knowledgeable and have made Ashmoor a fantastic environment for babies, toddlers and preschoolers to grow, make friends, have fun and learn about the world around them, all the time developing the skills they need before they go on to school. So lucky to have such a great nursery on our doorstep.

Fantastic nursery! Great management, staff and facilities. Have really appreciated the support, responsiveness and flexibility provided by the nursery. Cannot recommend highly enough.

The manager and her team are fantastic leaders. They offer a wealth of childcare experience which is second to none. They show true passion and love the children like they're their own. The chef is fantastic, cooking a range of nutritional meals. These are on a 4 week rota and take into consideration all major food groups required for a balanced diet. The facilities at Ashmoor are superb, ranging from quiet corners to the large outside play area which is utilised every single day, come rain or shine. Ultimately when I collect my son, I can see that he is happy and has been nurtured. He is always happy to say goodbye to me in a morning and really looks forward to the day ahead. I wouldn't have my child in any other private day care establishment.
