The front door of Cherry Chestnuts is very inconvenient and sticky, could do with replacing.

Our son has been at Ashmoor for sixteen months and has been in the first three rooms. He loves going to nursery and has developed massively from interacting with the other children and staff. The staff have all been absolutely fantastic and genuinely care about the children as well as being very responsive and reasonable when we have a query. I couldn't recommend Ashmoor more highly.

Most of the staff are wonderful and supportive and always eager to make sure my child is happy. Odd members of staff I feel are unsatisfactory in their approach to me as the parent. The facilities are inviting and fun, the resources are the same. The manager is an amazing person as are the assistant managers.

My daughter attends Ashmoor Nursery and from first contact, all the way through the staff have been clear, knowledgeable and kind. Returning to work after maternity leave was made easier by being confident in the care that my child would receive. Children are placed firmly at the heart of all they do and the result is happy confident children that thrive. We love the homely setting and the purposeful intention behind every aspect of our child's care. Her keyworker we cannot praise high enough and the whole team. I am very happy that I chose this nursery for my daughter.

Really lovely staff and a beautiful space. My child has been very happy here. Lots of communication from the staff so we always know what's going on both around the nursery and with our child specifically.

I love the homely setting and huge garden, rather than the purpose-built setup you find in so many nurseries. It just adds to the family feel of the place. The food, whilst it sometimes strays from the set menu, is decent. I feel like whilst the pressure is on, they always have the children at the centre of what they do, and I am very happy to have sent my children here.

My daughter has been attending nursery one day a week since January 2023, she absolutely loves it and has developed so much just in the short time she has been there. I feel the nursery nurses take things on board and are really caring. They have the welfare of the child in mind at all times and make sure they always know about her. The ladies in the baby room are attentive, kind, thoughtful and just lovely.

Ashmoor Private Day Nursery and Pre-school, Shipley is a lovely nursery and has a home from home feel. The garden is a great outdoor area for all children. My three boys have all attended this nursery and have been happy whilst there and progressed well into school.

Overall we couldn't be happier with the nursery, not least with how our daughter couldn't be happier!

My son has been at Ashmoor since he was 10 months old, and it’s such a lovely nursery. The staff are amazing and really care for the children. They do lots of activities and encourage development! My son’s two now and loves his days at nursery.

I am so happy we chose this nursery! My baby is so happy to be dropped off and her face lights up when she sees her room's team. She has evolved so much since she's been there, I can tell they're doing lots to help the children's development. The staff is super lovely, I love chatting with them about my baby at the end of the day. We get a detailed report about her day and they are very attentive to her mood and health. Moreover, I can see they clearly care for my daughter, and we are happy to know she is cared for by this team during the day. Could not recommend enough!

Most importantly, I genuinely believe the staff love my children. I have one toddler and one baby at Ashmoor, my toddler loves his staff and time in preschool and my baby beams when I mention his baby room staff names. There are many positives to this nursery, the staff being the stars, the garden, the food and the creativity of some staff with activities. There's the occasional bit of chaos but with so many children around it's bound to happen. My toddler had some speech delay issues this time last year and the deputy (along with the 2-3 room team) made small changes to the room setup to help with his - and the confidence of the other younger children in the room. Within 3 weeks he'd started talking. They understand our children and they take the time to make a big impact. In the baby room they do a massive amount of activities! So lucky!

Ashmoor Private Day Nursery and Pre-school, Shipley have been amazing at welcoming my son into the nursery despite the current circumstances. They provided settling in sessions in a Covid-safe way that worked well for me and my son and they were very good at dealing with my son's initial distress about going to nursery (especially as he has spent most of his life in lockdown) and helping him adjust. He now absolutely loves going and gives big smiles whenever he sees his key workers. All the staff we've had contact with have been very friendly and approachable. They have been very flexible and accommodating to our childcare needs and we're delighted with the team at Ashmoor.

Amazing nursery! My son loves coming and has come since being a baby, he is now in Chestnut Room. Lovely management, the staff are all lovely and polite. Would definitely recommend. Thank you for taking such amazing care of him.

My little boy has attended this nursery since he was nine months old and loved every minute of it, as have we as parents. He is now three years old and still loving nursery life. The staff are very welcoming and great at what they do, thank you for taking such good care of our little boy. I would definitely recommend.

Fantastic nursery, all the practitioners are so lovely and caring towards my little one. Wouldn’t trust anyone else with him. Excellent value for money for the care and attention he receives. Home cooked meals three times a day. What more could any child want.

Our daughter started nursery at 9 months old and has received nothing but love and care from her workers at Ashmoor. She has progressed so much, so quickly and we can’t not give credit to Ashmoor for assisting in this development.

Ashmoor Private Day Nursery and Pre-school, Shipley is a friendly, welcoming environment set in a lovely building with a super garden. It retains the family home feel even though it’s a business, which has always been important to us. Both our daughters attended or currently attend Ashmoor Private Day Nursery and Pre-school, Shipley and have loved it. We find the staff are brilliant, they clearly care about the children a great deal and are professional in every approach. I’ve often said that I’d like my daughter's keyworker to actually be my keyworker too. Although we can’t enter the building currently due to restrictions, I enjoy the interaction with my daughter's carers at pick up and drop off. They have handled new restrictions and guidelines so well in my opinion. It feels like, with the manager at the helm, the place is doing really well, she always makes time for parents and I can only imagine it’s been really hard of late but that has never come across. Really looking forward to a time when hopefully we can venture into the garden or nursery again for pickups.

Amazing nursery and staff. My little boy loves going to Ashmoor and especially loves the huge outdoor play area. He’s come on so much since starting and his confidence has grown. Would definitely recommend.

Ashmoor is a wonderful nursery. All staff are attentive and there is a real homely feel. My little boy loves going and comes home well cared for. The meals offered are exceptional and the stimulation and various activities on offer make for a well rounded wonderful experience.
