View Full Details of Partou Ashmoor Day Nursery & Pre-schoolMy little boy has been attending Ashmoor since September 2024, and he has loved every minute of it. The staff are so incredibly caring, welcoming and communicative, and genuinely seem to love their jobs and the nursery. We especially appreciate everything that the room leaders of Little Willows and Mini Maples have done for our little boy. The nursery itself is so warm and inviting, and its cosy and homely environment is what made us choose this for our little boy's care, as well as the beautiful garden. He gets so many opportunities, so many exciting things to do and ways to learn, and we're excited to him to continue his time there. Thank you for everything you do!
My child has just moved up to the Preschool room and has settled in great. The staff in preschool are all so friendly and welcoming and provide a range of interesting activities! My little girl has attended Ashmoor from being 10 months old, and has progressed through all the rooms now. I couldn't have wished for a better nursery for her and recommend Ashmoor to everyone I can!
My grandson has recently started at the nursery and from the first visit the staff were interested in what he enjoyed doing and how to help him settle in. He went off to play and clearly felt comfortable in his surroundings.
My daughter goes to this nursery and has done since November 2024. When we looked around we immediately had a great feeling about the nursery, building, team and knew this was the one for us, and our daughter of course! The team are excellent and very caring. Our little one is always pleased to see the team in the morning which is a great sign and gives us peace of mind. It feels very natural in there and we have seen our daughter develop at such a fast rate since attending. Highly recommend.
My son attended Ashmoor full time from Oct '23 to Jan '25, starting in Little Willows, moving to Mini Maples and finally Cheery Chestnuts. We only left the nursery due to moving house out of the area. He absolutely loved his time at Ashmoor - his development came on leaps and bounds during his time there. The staff were so friendly and caring, I never had any concerns leaving him there and he genuinely seemed happy to go to nursery every day. The food was always fresh and varied, and they were always busy doing lots of activities. A lot of time was spent outdoors which was important to us, the garden is huge and a definite selling point compared to other nurseries in the area. I was genuinely really sad that we had to leave! Special call out to deputy manager and room leader for Chestnuts - she is fabulous and a real asset to the nursery, you can tell she genuinely cares about all of the children and wants to do the absolute best for them. I'd recommend the nursery to anyone!
I had the pleasure of taking my Grandson, to the nursery whilst my daughter was out of the country. It was a thoroughly pleasant experience!! I felt very welcomed and found the atmosphere to be very caring and nurturing. Children were happy and busy with their chosen playthings. Great security too. I look forward to meeting all the team again soon.!
My little boy has been attending ashmoor since January 2025 and absolutely loves going. The staff in the baby room have made this such an easy experience to go through and I can't thank them enough for how they are with him and how they upload photos of him throughout the day. He's on his weaning journey and loves to have the meals that are made
She really enjoys nursery, the ladies in the baby room are amazing with her and she is always so excited to see them all. We appreciate everything you do for her as we still find it difficult to leave her every morning but know she is in safe hands with you ladies. We are excited for her to play out with her friends in the garden in Spring/Summer as the garden was one of the main reasons we chose this nursery as we think she will blossom when playing in the garden with the team and her friends. We always find that the manager is very quick at coming back to queries we have and the team ring us straight away to ask if they can give Calpol etc.
My little boy has been attending Partou Ashmoor Day Nursery since the start of 2025 and so far we're really happy with the decision to send him here. The staff in the baby room have been great at keeping us up to date throughout the day via the app and providing honest feedback at the end of the day at pick-up. My little one loves the food served there and with the help of the staff is slowly building his confidence to get involved in more of the activities. I would definitely recommend this nursery to other parents.
My little boy left the nursery in July 2024 at the age of 4 years after joining at 18 months. He had the best years of his life at Ashmoor. All the staff were amazing and formed really positive relationships and took really good care of him. The on-site Chef was fantastic too and cooked fresh and nutritious meals /snacks. I would highly recommend Ashmoor Nursery.
We have been at Ashmoor for the last two years, and it's a brilliant nursery. We love how much time they spend outside in the big garden and the wide range of activities they get up to during the day (crafts, baking, stories). My daughter can be quite shy when it comes to playing with other children, and the staff at Ashmoor, having seen this, have worked on developing her confidence, and it's made such a big difference. The staff really are wonderful, you really get the sense that all staff take the time to get to know the children not just their key worker. I'd really recommend Ashmoor if you are looking for a nursery.
I go with my daughter and grandson three mornings a week and sometimes take and collect my grandson on his/our own, sometimes with Grandma. The security to get in always seems first rate and twice we've had face-to-face verification when the 'receptionist' didn't recognise me (i.e. impressive security). More importantly the staff (in the baby room) are super friendly and creative. My grandson enjoys being there and his development has grown - quickly and markedly - during his time there: linguistic, physical, sociability, etc.
Ashmoor is a very homely and welcoming nursery. The staff and management are very friendly and quick to help. The care is second to none. 10/10. We would recommend it without hesitation.
Lovely staff - always go above and beyond, communication is great, and I wouldn’t have my child anywhere else. Food is always healthy and creative. The outside space as well as the inside space is beautiful.
My little one joined the nursery in October, and we’ve had a brilliant experience so far. I’m really grateful for all of the care and attention my little one has received. She has thrived at the nursery, and the staff have always made me feel welcome and confident that my daughter is in a safe and fun environment. I can truly say that our first experience of the nursery has been fantastic, and it’s all down to the brilliant staff who work at Ashmoor.
My child has had a fantastic time at Ashmoor. They have enjoyed every moment, made some brilliant friends and built lovely relationships with staff. The food is good, my child always eats seconds. The garden is one of the greatest features, but nothing can top the lovely, kind, patient and nurturing staff. I highly recommend Ashmoor to all my friends looking for childcare!
Our son has been attending this nursery since he turned one and has been in the first three rooms. He is very happy here and therefore, so are we. The staff are amazing, there are too many to personally name, but so many of the girls have had such a positive impact on him. He has however struggled to settle into each room, he is quite uncomfortable in new environments with new people but the team have been very accommodating with this and have allowed him to settle into each room over a longer period of time, to make the transition as easy as possible for him. This was very comforting to us, meaning we didn't have to ever drop him off at the new room in the morning until he was fully settled and comfortable. I can't thank them enough for everything they do for him, I'm so glad we chose Ashmoor Nursery!
Our child has a great time at nursery, the staff in the Cheery Chestnut room always fuss over him and make him feel special. I enjoy that they always have tasks set out for them and allow them to play outside often. My child always seems to enjoy the food based on what they advise us and they always have a range of different things on offer. We enjoy the regular updates and parent's evenings however would like more upfront information for example we only received information on the price increase a month prior to this coming, which I don’t think is enough time for people to consider their options. There could be improvement on the process of moving rooms on their ages as it seems slightly unorganised and based on whenever they could arrange for him to visit and not a structured handover. I would also like more flexibility on days. The front door of Cherry Chestnuts is very inconvenient and sticky, could do with replacing.
Our son has been at Ashmoor for sixteen months and has been in the first three rooms. He loves going to nursery and has developed massively from interacting with the other children and staff. The staff have all been absolutely fantastic and genuinely care about the children as well as being very responsive and reasonable when we have a query. I couldn't recommend Ashmoor more highly.
Most of the staff are wonderful and supportive and always eager to make sure my child is happy. Odd members of staff I feel are unsatisfactory in their approach to me as the parent. The facilities are inviting and fun, the resources are the same. The manager is an amazing person as are the assistant managers.
