Partou Hilltops Day Nursery & Pre-school in Chorley provides exceptional care and education for babies and children up to the age of five. Based in a beautiful Georgian property, the setting has an acre of outdoor space where children are encouraged to play every day.

Children at Hilltops enjoy a range of exciting learning activities. The team supports children in their development and helps to prepare them for school, involving parents by providing access to an online learning journal.

The experienced and qualified team at Hilltops holds paediatric first aid certificates and safeguarding training and many are qualified to Level 3 or above. All team members have undergone enhanced DBS checks and the nursery's CCTV and secure key fob door entry system provides added security and peace of mind.

The nursery offers funded childcare places to eligible families, and fees include milk, nappies, wipes, sun cream and healthy meals and snacks from the nursery menu.

Hilltops has been the perfect nursery choice for my little boy.
I was so worried about sending him so young but the communication and care has been fantastic. I trust the staff with him 100% and know that he is engaging in lots of activities to aid his development. He has so much fun, the staff are
so nurturing and I know that he is getting a full tummy with good, nutritious food.

I was extremely nervous about leaving my son for the first time. The Nursery manager was extremely patient and followed my son's lead in terms of settling in. On the first visit I knew I wanted to send my son here as the staff in the room was so kind and patient. The resources were lovely and they had
some really unique ideas about how to get a child's voice into the activities that they provide. For example they told me preschool children have a meeting each week and talk about how what they have liked and what they've enjoyed each week. my son took a very long time to settle but there was no rush to start him. I called lots of times to check on him and they sent me lots of pictures too. I would recommend this nursery very much!

After attending a walk around viewing at Hilltops I was elated with what I saw. The location is ideal and the nursery itself is presented so beautifully. The boho inspired decor throughout is so calming, honestly I could move in haha. I was impressed with everything on offer, especially the meal plans.
The fact that everything is home cooked and no microwave on site is such an important feature for myself as a parent. The outside area is large and accommodating for all ages, the bunnies are a super cute addition.


My little girl started attending for her settling in sessions wc 7/7/25. She instantly looked comfortable and had no problem with me leaving her. The staff provide regular updates via the app which I like. My girl has looked so happy each time I've collected her. Today she attended for her first full session and both myself and little girl are happy and comfortable.

I cannot recommend Hilltops enough. My son started in March after having to be taken out of his grist nursery after just 6 weeks, due to their negligence. I was really anxious about him starting somewhere new.


The nursery staff have supported my son & I every step of the way & he has settled in

very quickly. I feel relaxed & confident leaving him in the capable hands of the staff here & couldn't be happier. Every staff member I have come into contact with is lovely and very present with the children. I receive photos of the different activities my son gets up to at nursery and he gets to spend time outside daily which he loves.


My son is so settled & happy and I am so grateful to the staff especially the manager for being so brilliant with him and making a really sudden and unexpected move for my son into a positive experience for us both.

Hilltops Nursery has been such a wonderful place for my daughter. I was extremely nervous and apprehensive having to leave her so young and the staff put myself at ease straight away. My daughter has flourished and hit so many milestones since starting. The ammount of activities and facilities arranged
and provided is and has always been outstanding. It's such a close-knit nursery and my daughter absolutely loves going every day! I couldn't recommend them enough.

Fantastic nursery, staff are very supportive and really go the extra mile. My little girl struggles with separation and staff have taken the time to get to know her and find strategies to support her with this, whilst reassuring me. Outdoor space is excellent and activities offered are varied and appropriate.
My child is thriving since starting at this nursery no complaints or areas for improvement.

Our son started at Hilltops a month ago and we're really happy with the care he is getting. The month before starting at nursery we were offered plenty of settling in sessions which made the transition easier for us all. The staff are so welcoming and friendly and our little boy has already formed an
attachment with the practitioners. The nursery has a lovely atmosphere and really personal feel and you can tell they really care about each child and their development. Communication through the app is great and it is lovely to see pictures/videos of different activities they do throughout the day. We are very happy with Hilltops and would highly recommend.

We recently moved our daughter to Hilltops from a different nursery and it was the best decision we've ever made. The staff at Hilltops are always so happy, friendly and welcoming, which helps to create such a lovely atmosphere across the nursery. We feel that every member of staff takes the time
to get to know each child really well and ensure that they are happy, settled and progressing how they should - it definitely feels very personal and caring, which is lovely. They are also a great team (with the manager being very hands on, passionate and involved) and put so much effort into ensuring there are lots of different activities and exciting experiences for the children each day, always coming up with new ideas/updates to the spaces to improve things for the children. The outdoor space is great too. Our daughter is loving her time at Hilltops and seems to be thriving there so we would definitely recommend it.

I was very hesitant to send my little one to nursery as he had always been with me only. However after our initial tour he felt so comfortable with the staff and in the nursery. It took a few settling in sessions to get him used to it, but now to see him thriving in nursery makes me feel so glad we
chose Hilltops. The staff are so caring towards my child and always give me updates and put me at ease. Its so nice to see the updates on the app and any progress he has made.

Our daughter started nursery in October and we're really happy with the nursery. They were really helpful from the beginning and made her settling-in sessions better for all of us. My child has been going to Hilltops since August and the nursery has been absolutely brilliant. Firstly I rang around a few looking for some flexibility, due to working shifts. Many other nurseries offered fixed days only, but Hilltops was able to offer flexible days which is brilliant.
The nursery
started with taster sessions, and they were more than happy to build this up across a month until we got to a point where my child was settled.
The nursery is always really friendly and helpful when I speak to them and my child loves it. They do plenty of varied activities, all of which you can see on the parent zone app.
Staff are very nurturing and my child is picking up so many important social skills being around all the other children.
I'd highly recommend Hilltops, I'm very happy with it.

I have been so impressed with Hilltops Nursery since the day we signed our little boy up. The rooms are always set up with different activities each day and my little boy is always so excited to go inside and play. They have always worked around my own home routines to the best of their ability. They
adapted the foods given to our little boy when he was younger and still will do so if he refuses to eat. He has come so far since attending and the chatterbox he is shows how much he is learning on a daily basis. Absolutely fantastic nursery and would recommend to anyone.

Both my children have and one still does attend Hilltops and they both just love it. They are constantly doing new activities, creating, having adventures and exploring the outdoors. They have formed such lovely bonds with all the workers at the nursery. The nursery is lovely and creates such a nice

Hi, my name is Jo and I have recently joined Hilltops as Nursery Manager following five years of experience at another Just Childcare setting.

I’ve worked in nurseries ever since leaving school, gaining my level two and three qualifications whilst studying at college. In more recent years, I have worked to broaden my experience in a trainee manager role whilst also working in residential homes.

I really enjoy working in Early Years and believe it’s such an important stage in a child’s life. Watching a child grow and develop knowing I have helped and supported them on their journey is extremely rewarding.

Away from work, I am the proud mum of a four-year-old boy and love spending my weekends going on trips, camping, or taking hikes with my family. I am always eager to adopt elements of this into my nurseries as I feel that outdoor and physical education is fundamental to a child’s development.

I look forward to meeting parents and discussing more about our nursery setting.
